Morgan’ voice is a little heavy, perfectly suits when he talks about cosmos. However Ive has a much softer voice which better suits these Apple product intros.
My first impressions were that 3D touch felt forced, as if it wasnt necessary. But once they showed a live demo, they showed stuff that i would do, like quickly popping into an Instagram photo, and just as quickly going back, previewing a reply on TH-cam in the email app, and the live photos are pretty damn cool, nobody can deny that. Ill probably wait for the 7 tho
With that said, it always pisses me off when Apple says "ITS OUR MOST ADVANCED IPAD/IPHONE YET!!1!!1!!1!11!!!" Yeah well no shit. It better be since its the latest one.
+The Maestro I swear....that was exactly what I thought the moment I heard him talk. Even more funny will be the horror stories people are going to have with this new kind of....using your phone? I really was thinking about moving over to the iPhone in the next year or so....gonna wait now.
No. Androids are the COD and iPhone's are the over priced DLC. NOTE: A new Android comes out every month with little to no improvements. They all contain the same app store, the same OS different name, and a new camera and screen with two extra pixels on there. SMH y'all call this innovation. 😧✋
Polar You say "No shit there are going to be more android phones" well read my comment. More android phones are produced very fast and they don't see where they can improve so they just add something small each addition.. IPhone does it but it works, both their hard wear and software work together, and some "Gimmicks" come in handy some times but it's all pretence. I still have my iPhone 4s and it still works. I've had more android phones than iPhone chargers combined.
+KiLLeRTOUCHDOWN151 well your wrong, android does not come out every month. I think you meant there's a new phone that comes out every month running android, with there own skin integrated into it . Nexus is the only actually pure android phone, and last I check those are released every year or so with the upgrade to the latest version of the ui.
+danyCD17 even the Nintendo DS could do that, nintendo just never used it. (it was an option in the home brew drawing program 'Colors DS') I imagine they will make this will be a always on feature. (lol)
iPhone 6s costing $850? It better be waterproof, fireproof, crackproof, dirtproof, bulletproof and be able to charge itself. Only then will I be interested in an Apple product.
lol, I love how people are complaining when Samsung's entire advertising strategy is letting people know how many useless gimmicks the galaxy phones have.
@@uranterra2725 they didnt remove thinking it as gimmick by removing 3d touch thet removed extra layer of hardware. If it is a gimmick not people would have liked it, it gave iphone a new character from androids.
I feel like people are misunderstanding how this feature works. It isn't just holding your thumb on something, you can press into the phone, almost giving it a "right click" feature. Who cares if you don't care or if it isn't new. I think a pressure sensitive touchscreen is neat and will be useful. Im sorry apple implies they invent everything, but I still like their products.
The 6s doesn't justify an upgrade from the regular 6. Also, that 3D touch thing has been available in Samsung devices since 2013 except it's called air view and you don't have to touch the screen to use it. You hover above the screen instead.
Shouldn't force touch be more of a software feature? Hold something long enough and make a window pop up. Don't think it should be such a big deal to make new hardware for something so simple. Everyone wants a bigger battery not this shit!
+savage. but it is different. You touch and hold on an app to re-arrange the home screen, while you can press and hold an app to open the menu for that app. Or with links you can tap to open it or tap and hold a link to bring up a menu for saving, coping, etc. or press the link to see the page without leaving whatever app or page you are on. and if you want to go to that page you can press even harder to go to the page. It doesn't need to take as long as you see in the video, you can open the app menus on the home screen as quick as you can do a normal tap, it just depends on how hard you press
kekchan biggest fan I understand that but on Android you can have shutters for apps and do the exact same thing that "3D touch" there are also apps where you can open up multiple links at a time and save them as "FB messenger bubbles" and open them up in a small window when ever you please. I just don't feel like all this new hardware is necessary I feel like they should focus more on what their audience wants like a bigger battery but no.
I feel like the video didn't show enough of what 3D touch can do. It is basically just a new input method that can be used alongside normal touch, and that is welcome with me. Just like with the built in apps, judging a phones capabilities based on how it is out of the box isn't the best way to show the phones potential. Just like how I use a third party apps most of the time. Im more interested in seeing what developers do with 3D touch than what is built into the OS. There was a 3rd person shooter that was previewed at the keynote that used touch to control the camera and force touch to zoom in while moving it.
I'm a long time Android user, have had numerous Androids all my life. I love them because they're so creative on customizing BUT always had problems with lag after 4 months and battery problems etc etc only reason why for once I'll switch to Iphone hopefully it doesn't let me down on it's software of becoming laggy 😒. So hopefully this 6s won't let me down!
It is interesting how people expect revolutionary products as if revolution happens every year. Technologically speaking the force touch especially on the iPhone is actually intriguing snd different from air view. It could change how we interact with technology, could I lightly touch to highlight an object, increase my force to move said object and lock it into place? It all starts from something like that and could lead to what you see in the movies, the way they interact with the holograms.
actually it's different. it's actually like force touch. the screen senses the pressure against it. huawei brought out a new device with force touch, and it can be used to weigh stuff.

Yes, the submenus and peeking software are ordinary but that doesn't mean the 3D touch is useless, a hardware add on can make a more relevant difference once app developers (I bet game designers will like it) get their hands on it. Also, Android phones having that menu workflow doesn't mean that Apple users will want to change phones for, rather they're happy that they now have that too on their preferred phone.
just thinking... ite pressure sensor can only differentiate between normal-hard pressure right? so the possibility for a real pen is not there, funny that they make a new taptic vibrator though. for anyone wondering, 3D gesture isnt a new concept, its already in android using different method than pressure sensor, and also in the cancelled Nokia McLaren prototype. so all top 3 OS is able to vision and also create this tech for a while now. Iphone is playing catch up.
Kevyn Miller hm? since when a touchscreen MacBook Exist? Cause that's what I stress it on, the 3D interaction capability. if you're talking about the vibrator (? "_") yeah, I do realize that it probably is the same taptic engine that's fitted into the touchpad of the new Mac.

It was my favourite feature of iPhone
