The iPhone X was probably the most innovative leap for apple qua phones. The difference between iPhone 8 and X are substantial and we’ve yet to see such a big leap between models
I got the xs max in gold in 2018, the most beautiful phone of all time, a year after the x And now I have the 14 pro max in gold, 5 whole years after the x The x will always be a revolutionary device
I remember how premium this felt when it first came out. it was like no other. now they’re all the same… still love them though. just got a 13 pro max.

Does anyone else come from that 91 tech video what he talks about where iPhone peaked. In my opinion, I would have to place the iPhone X as the peak of iPhone since it was built off the development that happened 10 years previously and so far the foundation of the current iPhone era that is built on top of the iPhone X. The iPhone X even if it looks vastly different at least hardware wise (especially when it comes to processing power)You can compare the iPhone 2G with the iPhone X and it’s a night and day difference but if you compare the latest iPhone to the iPhone X, the core experience hasn’t changed that much obviously ignoring the incremental upgrades which eventually builds up to a bigger upgrade over the years, but it still doesn’t feel the same with that rapid development that happened during the first 10 years of iPhone. It’s so hard to believe that in just three years it will be the 20th anniversary and therefore the 10th anniversary of this marvelous device.
Watching this on my iPhone 15 pro max, my first is an iPhone 12 Pro, bought it to test the device and I like it so much that just a week after, I bought the iPhone 15 pro max, no regret at all, after so many years of wanting to have an iPhone, now I have two 😊

I have a space grey X and I use it all the time, actually just got it back from a week long repair by Apple, now in 100% working order and I use it so often, I have a case for it coming in the mail since my old one broke, can’t wait!
The iPhone X was the last major update. Everything since then has just been incremental. I just replaced my 7 year old iPhone X with an iPhone 16 Pro Max. I’m glad I didn’t upgrade until now because let’s be honest it’s not that much better
iPhone 2G, iPhone 4, iPhone 6, iPhone X, and the iPhone 12 all provided a big design change. In this case, usually every 3-4 years. However, it's been 4 years since the 12, and the 16 is looking like another nothing upgrade. It's clear that iPhones have now peaked.
When Apple was still revolutionary and not just copying other companies techniques after it has been there for years on the market… I loved my iPhone XS and used it til last year. I even would’ve used it til this year if it didn’t fall down from several meters height and broke completely. Today I got the iPhone 15 Pro Max for a year now and I’m not closely as satisfied like I was with my XS. It just has too many bugs. It still gets warm pretty fast, the camera uses way too much battery and typing is lagged almost constantly. I expected more from a brand new flagship iPhone.
