Did all the functions continued working the hours and days after the test? I've an iPhone 6 Plus which I accidentally drown with a whole bottle of water when I was running, I didn't turned it off immediately I kept running and functions started to fail, first was the volume buttons, then the Touch ID, my screen had a fade in the center... About an hour later I arrived to my house, turned it off and put it in a ziplock full of rice for 20 hours. Next day the problems were the same but as soon as I started to use it and it got warm by use, the problems were disappearing, the only problem that persisted was the Touch ID which was crazy and the home button was double clicking constantly. At the end of that day the home button and the Touch ID were perfect and right now I'm using it and everything works as new...
I saw a photo that showed a seal inside the case of the 6S/6S+. What I'm wondering is if there is a difference in the water test between a fresh unit that hasn't been opened vs an opened version and wondering that seal needs to be replaced when the unit is opened to retain the same level of water resistance. Also, if you press hard on the unit while under water, it can leak water in the 3.5mm jack and around the screen that does cause damage, so by not trying to cause water to seep in while submerged, they seem a lot better in terms of water resistance.
I dropped my iPhone 6s in the toilet a few days ago, but everything is working fine. The only problem is the battery is draining a little fast, and I'm not sure if I'm just being paranoid or not. If anyone can give me some advice that would be great.
My friend has an iPhone 6 and she dropped it in a river and had to swim to the bottom and get it, she thought for sure she would have to get a new one but even though it was 5 ft under water for 30 seconds in really cold water it still works absolutely perfect. I was there when it happened btw.

I used my iphone 6s to capture fireworks. So the rear camera facing upward whilst it was raining. I did not bother to use it anyway because I thought it'll be just fine since the only thing exposed is the rear camera area (inc. the mic and flash). I just used to capture 10-minute video. I then noticed that there's a water droplet inside the rear camera. It was just a small droplet but when I point the camera in strong lighting background, you'll notice that there's a distortion somehow. Quite annoying. I suspect that the water entered the rear camera's mic since it's like a small hole. I tried to place my camera in a plastic bag of uncooked rice overnight but the droplet was not absorbed. Two days have passed already but the water droplet still there. Any thoughts? Thanks :)
Kim Angelo You can buy them on places like Amazon and you might even have some around your house. Just stick them in like a ziploc bag for a day or so and it will dry it out for sure!
I’ve dropped my iPhone 6s twice in the toilet in the past 2 years... each time put in rice and silica packets for a week and right as rain! Always do a backup though
You didn't do the important tests, like seeing it it could call, play music, access the internet. Sure, the touchscreen and the camera still work. How about the rest of the phone?
There was this one time I accidentally dropped my brand new iphone4 into a wash basin with the water running and I almost had a heart attack! But luckily nothing happened to it... except the speaker would make an annoying buzzing sound during a phone call... and that was almost 5 years ago...
+Mine PlexR (MinePlexR) sure, but that doesn't explain the simultaneous popup for a fraction of a second... usually someone would have to press "ok" to dismiss the popup...
That's what happens when you have water on the screen. Even my water proof galaxy s5 will press things when there is a drop of water on the screen, it's normal.
+Mine PlexR (MinePlexR) pretty sure it does... but why didn't it press "stop", "lap" or any other button while sitting in there for more than an hour? ^^
+RoterFruchtZwerg that's because it is fully submerged. so water is covering the entire screen making no effect. not sure how it works but you could Google it
I don't get how this could be. You see the slot where the charger cable is being inserted with exposed conductors, the holes for headset, mic, built in speaker... I doubt if water can't get through it.
There are indicators in the headphone plug, thunderbolt plug, and inside the iPhone. Once the indicators turns red, u have to pay to repair in the future, even the warranty is still valid.
Notice how the water doesn't mess with the touch screen when he uses it. that means it's either deionized (distilled) water or isopropyl alcohol.... water on your screen always messes with the touch screen until you wipe it off.

Can we just appreciate the fact this guy spent his money on 2 iPhones and puts them in water just for us to watch?
So does that mean i can bathe with my iphone 6s
Shower selfie coming right up hahah
Hello

What about mic and speaker ?
Andy Peterson righttt
Sorry I still can’t BELIVE so I’m buying that case idk
So Microfon, Sound, charging still working?
Water damage comes when corrosion kicks in. It is wrong to wait imminent reactions and make decisions on that. It could take up to week to see results
I would never risk this
yapmayın sakın telefon suya düştü. çalışmıyor 6s
my mom bought oppo reno in 60k but iphone 6s is 20k and iphone 6 is god
I read the title as "Apple iPhone 6s vs iPhone 6s Water Test"
Then i realized:
I skipped over the Plus
I like to leave my phone in a cup full of water overnight like dentures.
Does the headphone spot still work??
When your swim that you can Hear Music or what 😁
+Sultan Süleyman i see :c
english
+Sultan Süleyman lol thx xD
Not a real world test. Drop it in a toilet from 4 ft high
RhythmBoy I dropped my iPhone 6s down the toilet yesterday and it’s perfectly fine

Any idea why "no sim card installed!" popped up for a moment at 3:50 on both phones? :D
they don't come with Sim cards out of the box. notice no service in upper left when he first turns them on.
+RoterFruchtZwerg that's because it is fully submerged. so water is covering the entire screen making no effect. not sure how it works but you could Google it
U never checked the speaker and how jacked up that is
+Goober Majalca Check out my update video!
This intro music tho 👌🏾
Iphone 6s or Iphone6s Plus?
I don't get how this could be. You see the slot where the charger cable is being inserted with exposed conductors, the holes for headset, mic, built in speaker... I doubt if water can't get through it.
WOW AMAZING I LOVE IT !!!
WallThis siema fajne masz shoty
wow
Damn apple. Drops, bends, scratches, cracks, dust and water resistant and Apple didn't even mention it.
Can I have your 6s plus when your finished with it :)
Really 👍
