I first did the whole 30-day challenge when it came out, but I’ve saved and done this particular video for years. A few years ago I got in a car crash where my neck went over the headrest. I was ok at first but after a few weeks my neck and shoulders seized up for a week with wild pain. Throughout that year that pain kept happening intermittently. But I noticed when I exercised regularly and stretched with this video, it didn’t happen. I still have to stretch every week or it’ll come back but it’s been about 3 years without muscle spasms, mainly due to me keeping on this video. Thanks so much for making it and keeping it online without ads. It has helped me immensely.
Great practice, I am loving your good explanations and tips while still giving silent time in each pose. I have noticed some instructors don't ever stop talking and that makes it tougher for me to experience the poses. Take care and thanks again!
Just finished day 1 = I really liked it. I am overweight and this is the 1st yoga that I have found to truly been for beginners. I hope the remainder of the days are just as good. Thanks for throwing in "option" for the not so flexible.
OMG, your tip with having one knee bent and the other one pressing down into the floor in down dog, made me have both heels touching the floor for a short time for the first time today 😃 😃 😃 Thank you, Erin! 🙏🏻❤️
A little late to the party as I just found your channel. This one was a little tough for me but I also see that it's intermediate not beginner so that made me feel a bit better :) looking forward to day 3!
This was excellent! Per usual :) Any chance you have variations for those of us with Scottish hips? I love child's pose but after a while my hips start to hurt because I can't bend too deep.
Would so appreciate some modifications as I'm overweight and not flexible. Working my way back to healthy though and really enjoyed Day 2! (I wish I had more flexibility!)
Agreed. I find a great deal of value in the postures that I can do, and look forward to being able to do the others "someday". Currently, however, I just muddle through best I can, holding the ones I can do through the ones I can't until she gets back around to something else that I can manage. Sometimes that's whole lot of child's pose!
My yoga teacher always tells me if I get all jumbled up on a particular pose to just go to child's pose as it's still doing yoga! (She usually goes over stuff with me after class)
Would appreciate suggestions of the 'OK' points for obese sizes trying this. Find sitting back hips on feet very painful on knees and shin bones - thanks
@jane put a thin pillow under your knees and make sure your knees are really wide in childs pose, to make room for your belly. some days I can't get my forehead on the floor so I use my hands or a block/book/pillow there too. I also use a pillow under my knee in low lunge.
Hi Erin, I really enjoy your posts and I enjoy doing Yoga with you, I've tried different people but I always come back to you. Today I really struggle to put my hand on my ankle, neither the knee, I fell off on every attempt. I also have a lot of pain in my wrists and I end up with the palm (the part just besides the wrist) completely red and the hand veins swollen. I think that I'm doing something wrong, maybe I'm putting too much weight on my wrists, I have no idea but it doesn't feel good at all. It has been a while since my last practice, an before I have't had this problem. Any tip or recommendation? many thanks!!!
Is there an alternative I could do for lacing the fingers behind my back and extending? My shoulders are not that flexible and I cannot achieve any of the poses doing with that. I feel the stretch in my legs, but I don't get the shoulder stretch.
I'am 1,95m tall and EVERY SINGLE movement in this video was hard for me! I think ill have to do these more then once before moving on to the next Video :D
Hi, Christopher- we're so sorry ads popped up mid-class. This is NOT our intention, and we've made sure to update this so it doesn't happen in the future. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.

This was excellent! Per usual :) Any chance you have variations for those of us with Scottish hips? I love child's pose but after a while my hips start to hurt because I can't bend too deep.
I would love to sit like that.
Would so appreciate some modifications as I'm overweight and not flexible. Working my way back to healthy though and really enjoyed Day 2! (I wish I had more flexibility!)
Barbara Fraser - I requested the same! Good luck

Emmy van Selm-Pieters - many thanks!
It hurts my wrists so badly to do all this but I'm trying!

use a belt or strap or towel between your hands instead! more slack, same idea :)
oh god its lovely ...xoxox
I found this one to be really tiring for my upper back, shoulders and neck. What am I doing wrong?
My palms/wrist hurt when I do the down dog. What am I doing wrong?
My wrists hurt in the beginning too. Try to flex them when you're sitting straight up, and it will be better over time.
I'am 1,95m tall and EVERY SINGLE movement in this video was hard for me! I think ill have to do these more then once before moving on to the next Video :D
Just keep working at it!! Hopefully it'll get easier.
you are looking so good in red pent please make more video in red pent
Can't do 90% of this video, but at least I'm doing /some/ of it
Hey erin. day 2 of of today is my birthday
