Finally, someone else who climbs! Having energy over your opponent is an advantage the Spitfire F.IX needs to do well. If you let the 109F4s and G2s get above you, they will have their way with you. I never really got on with the F.IX, mainly because I seemed to be facing actually competent enemies who climbed and my teammates were lawn darts, so I'd get into a 3 vs 1 at 10k feet while my teammates are unable to do squat and are basically free food on the deck. The engine also overheats badly, or at least it did when I last played the F.IX, the Merlin 61 just gets so hot so easily. Personally, I think the Spitfire F.XIVe is a better Spitfire for it's BR. Fast for a change without too bad a compromise on agility. Really it's a toss up between that and the LF.IXe which is the low altitude version of the Mk.IX. It turns the best out of all the Spitfires, it has superb low alt performance thanks to the Merlin 66 engine, but it can climb pretty well up to 18k feet keeping neck and neck with the F.XIVe and the 109K4.
yesss a spitfire vid!!!!!!! truly *the* plane of all time. man i love it, also the mark 9 was the most popular spit in ww2, what i would do to eventually fly one (irl)
Great vid, even in just 2 games you managed to get enough good content I've also joined the soup squad squadron, do you know how frequently you get squadron rp, is it weekly
finally, a spitfire video, very good video nimbo and great tips as usual, on another note your live comm keeps improving and its really cool to see
This means a lot! Thanks bro

It was a blast to play :D
Just found you, I’m loving how you comment on what you do during gameplay, that’s going to be a big help
Your intro is pretty sick 👌🏾
Thank you! It was made by www.youtube.com/@GamerMorse - you should totally check him out, his cinematics are nuts!
Loving the video improvement! Another fun one to watch!
:D tysm!
You can’t be playing the best nation and not have a cup of tea in hand.
I have not touched spitfires until recently. I absolutely love this thing
the LF mk9 is probably my favourite (non premium) spit
Great vid, even in just 2 games you managed to get enough good content

Thanks man, welcome in! Squadron RP is disbursed every 3 days, I believe
Alr makes sense
You should try the spitfire mkVc, it has 4 cannons which can make planes pop
I haven't even used it since they fixed realshatter
This thing feels great with two, so I can only imagine what 4 is like! I'll have to buy it and try it out, ty for watching :)
@@nimbosoup I have now tried it again, and can confirm that they no longer shred.
They delete.
Instantly.
