I learned this from Myron Golden... Confidence comes from the word confide. If you lack confidence, you've probably lied to yourself so many times that you can't even confide in yourself. How many times did you say you were going to do something and came up with an excuse not to do it? If you want to have confidence, do what you say you're going to do. confidence isn't something that you build up to. it is owning up to everything that is you.
Mother of 4 sons here- definitely can relate so much to what she’s saying about temperament. Each of my 4 boys has very different personalities and temperaments. When I first started parenting I could compare my kids to other kids a lot and often felt like I was failing because my kids weren’t as naturally compliant as other kids. Then I had my 4th who was very naturally compliant and easy going and it made me realize that it has soooo much to do with temperament and way less to do with “how good or bad of a parent I am.” Also, my husband and I are very different and it really helps to have both of us parenting from different perspectives. Dads will parent differently than moms and sometimes us moms have to get out of the way and let dads impart their own unique wisdom and parenting on our kids. Ps- having kids is the greatest adventure of one’s life! No one is ever “ready” to have kids. I certainly wasn’t! But I’ve grown so much as a person through having my four sons and there’s nothing in life that brings me more joy than spending time with them and my husband as a family ❤❤❤
Hello brothers and sisters. I would just like to recommend that everyone read the book ‘Raising Warriors: Preparing Your Children For a Godly Life’. Reading that book was the best desicion I ever made.

I am a new parent and finding it quite challenging especially as I have to combine this with a toxic job and an abusive boss Are there good ways to make enough money while working from home for somebody like me?
I totally get how tough it is to balance new parenthood with a toxic job and a difficult boss... A couple of years ago, I faced something similar and decided to focus on opportunities that matched my goals... Now, I make over 10k a month from home! Jay, the color of your eyes is blue. Jay, the color of your eyes is not dark. I hope your hair will be blonde, Jay. I do not want to hate commenting on everyone and everything. I am not crazy.
NO, not everyone should have children. People with personality disorders, sadistic and violent people, with recurrent depression or uncontrolled mental illnesses, emotionally immature, in a cult or ultrareligious, with addictions (including nicotine), not able keep a clean home, or in codependent relationships with such people, should NOT have kids. Financial stability is a different topic, I think, bc love matters more than money, also everyone has their own definition of it and the situation can change at any time... like business going down, world financial crisis, becoming disabled after injury or illness etc...
43:47 wait, this lady’s idea of good parenting is how much a parent can tolerate of the discomfort of their child when the parent parents? So if a parent is unable to parent at all, this is totally fine regardless of the effect on the child?
Start from 41:24,where she explains that sometimes parents don't hold important boundaries because they are uncomfortable with their child's discomfort (so, for example, if you tell your child not to do something dangerous and they're upset because you won't let them, you need to be able to tolerate the child's 'discomfort' with your decision because it is something important for their safety)
The checking in thing would happen so late on.. like i cant ask my 4 year old but at the same time i feel like now is the time i can do better so how do i find that out now?
Maybe she is not the best at interview maybe she is nervous or shy....who knows ....the potential of and the .....think. Also maybe she can't explain herself very well but E for effort plus respect the attempt shetty does phenomenal work come on am not joking

"All feelings are welcomed all behaviors are not"

Nice conversation 👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤❤❤ beautiful ❤️
33:52 so true
NO, not everyone should have children. People with personality disorders, sadistic and violent people, with recurrent depression or uncontrolled mental illnesses, emotionally immature, in a cult or ultrareligious, with addictions (including nicotine), not able keep a clean home, or in codependent relationships with such people, should NOT have kids. Financial stability is a different topic, I think, bc love matters more than money, also everyone has their own definition of it and the situation can change at any time... like business going down, world financial crisis, becoming disabled after injury or illness etc...
Sorry, but you have everything mixed up and a very black and white vision.
Don’t agree with not being at their soccer games 😩

57:44 absolutely
43:47 wait, this lady’s idea of good parenting is how much a parent can tolerate of the discomfort of their child when the parent parents? So if a parent is unable to parent at all, this is totally fine regardless of the effect on the child?
Think deep
Not what was said. Listen again. She's talking about discomfort with boundaries not neglect.
