Not sure what camera you're using to film these, but if you look at this one closely, the flowers behind you are in sharp focus while your face is much softer and slightly goes out of focus when you lean in toward the camera. If what you're using has a facial focus setting you might wanna make sure it's one next time. Just a technical critique, my good friend.

Thanks, Ted. I'm just getting started doing these kinds of things. I was aware of the doppled light from the shadows and I assume that was what was throwing it out of focus. I also need to get a better mic if I'm going to keep doing these outdoors!

@@chrismosstx Perhaps I can give some small assistance. What camera, mic, and editing software are you using?

@@gr8fullytedicated Thanks! It's a Canon Rebel EOS and just the on-board mic. I do think the autofocus was turned off, so I think I'll start there :)
