- Metallica perform the Saxon classic "Motorcycle Man" with Saxon singer Biff Byford. Saxon originally recorded the song for their 1980 album "Wheels of Steel". This version was recorded live @ The Fillmore in San Francisco, California on December 5th, 2011 (the first of four Metallica 30th birthday concerts).
Not only does Biff sound great - he actually still looks like a ROCKER!!!!

Peter 'Biff' Byford is from Barnsley, UK. I taught English at Barnsley College and live in Sheffield. He's never lost his roots and is still effectionately known as 'The Barnsley Big Teaser'. Apparently, he's rather well-endowed. There's a statue of 'Dickie' Bird, the cricket umpire nearby complete with 'finger out' and people hang signs on it which read, amongst other things, 'I'm a tosser'. Nobody talks about Saxon withouit the utmost 'Respect'.

Hope they put out a DVD with all 4 of these shows on it. Must have been so bad ass live, guest of sabbath -kid rock and everyone in between! Even Ron McGovney jamming hit the lights! 4 new tracks, and the metal god Rob Halford!
