Ahh - Animal - what a geezer - proper punk with proper punk attitude. First saw him with the League supporting the Ramones in London way back in 1995 and what a great gig that was!
If you write a song like "So What?" it probably means you don't give a shit about a lot of things, which probably is good for your mental and physical health long term.
I bought the album back in the early 1980s. I used to get in trouble for playing and singing this song. Never thought that fourty or so years later this song would be covered by one of the biggest bands in the world.
Animal comes form my home town in Kent England a little place called Tunbridge Wells. Always makes me smile cause he's such a nice guy when you meet him. Think my Mum and Uncle's knew him back in the day. 😊😜
I met him in Cardiff, I was waiting to get a video interview with him all day, but it never happened, he procrastinated too much. Oh well, it was nice to meet him multiple times that day, he was a nice enough guy.
@@Danimal77 what???? Animal is the guy who sings the song, not the guy out of the so called metal band, the guy who looks like the cowardly lion from the wizard of oz,
@@danjames5552 to be honest mate I probably talk a lot of shite on here lol, I put my opinions across about the bands I like and if other people don't agree with me and like other bands well good luck to them 👌👍
Metallica showing they’re following firmly in Motörhead’s footsteps by having Animal fro Anti Nowhere League on their show. That band were more punk than punk, I know Lemmy approved of them too. I heard him talking about them in an interview. Got to say Kirks solo was disappointing. Metallica should try to play with Girlschool, the Damned and the Pink Fairies too now.
I'm seriously considering this song for my talent show.....
CynicalGames record that shit
Did you ever do play it?
I performed it in my music class once
And at my funeral/or wedding.
The kids will love it.
Imagine the honour and pride Metallica felt when they were on the same stage with Sir Animal :)
sir animal lol
👍👍👍👍

Decent.
What a fucking show that must've been
Who cares about u ??@4th_Lensman_of_the_apocalypse
@4th_Lensman_of_the_apocalypse Yes, but '95 was still another lifetime ago.
Me and my wife have chosen this for my first dance at our wedding ..
Such a romantic love song ❤😆💥🇬🇧
Safer than choosing Woman by the anwl !! 😂👍
@@gordonkennaway3847 Yeah I forgot about that one.. but I did contemplate I Hate People or Roll on WW3 😂
Props to Metallica for keeping this song alive and even more so for performing it with Animal. Def one of the greatest punk songs ever written.
Such a beautiful song, every time i listen to it, it brings a tear to my eye😢
Who are those guys with Animal?
Who are You?
+Kevin Calderón Román I'm not a fucking child, so fuck off!

Glenn Taylor one of the best selling bands of all time
Animal looks younger than Lars.

Lars is a bitch.
Much more !

An absolute legend of the Oi punk scene. God bless you Animal
Animal is such a... Well... Animal on stage. Fantastic fucking frontman
Such a great frontman. Had the pleasure to see ant-nowhere league in eindhoven. They graced the stage!
The look on James's face is satisfying, he is really happy that he is playing with them again! 2:50 FUCKING GREAT!
At 2:26 Its funny as fuck watching the way Animal moves hahahahah! Ive been laughing for a month
Every year Lars looks more like Michael Keaton
SOTOSTOFFICIAL bahahahahahaha
This made me literally laugh out loud. Cause it's true!😂
That shit is hilarious! You're right, he does. I've never thought about that before.
He was old enough to call him batlars.lol

I think The Damned also did a version too.
Best lyrics ever written.
Badass voice

"he's come all the way over to sing this LOVELY LYRICAL GENIUS". james is just.....genius ))
This was a badass collaboration
K... Animal has definitely still got it lol, I'm definitely impressed with this performance!
Yeah.. not many 74 year old blokes can put on a performance like the “ A “
Yup., and this is 2011. Look up his 2022 and 2023 performances with the band live. It's glorious and they STILL got it
Man, "Animal" rocks.
Animal SUCKS ! .. ( old men’s Cox )
lol I’m just kidding.. He’s a great guy really 👍
Animal is The Man.
Mister ANIMAL,sounds great
It's really cool that they had Phil Collins sit in on drums, here.
The truest and purest form of punk!
I suddenly have maximum respect for Metalica who are a very famous mediocre band. ANL are geniuses.
Animal is great! Awesome performance!
Nick's ace.......makes me proud to be English !!!!!
Awesome way to close the show!
They got him to come and sing it because James can't swear anymore lol :p
First saw ANWL in about 1980 - went to actually see the support band Erazerhead. Went away thinking “what the fuck have I just seen” ! 🙂🙂
Animal always looks like either hes having a stroke or hes dodging something XD
Lmao thats fucking funny
love Animalllll,and ANTI NOWHERE!
Saw ANL live in the 80,s ,wild gig
That was great, Anti Nowhere League + Metallica = good shit.
I like this. Animal is great.

Fucking amazing.
"lovely lyrical genius" :))
Animal has Hetfield beat hands down on this one.
1990-1993 Hetfield sang this song the way it was meant to be sung.

AMAZING.
Animal should be a UN delegate and Nobel prize winner for whatever he wants to be.
Funny how the crowd barely react to Nick's introduction. i can only imagine the posers in that crowd =P
It’s usually the posers that call people posers.
great idea to make this show !! fuck yeah!!!
Amazing
Well said Glenn Taylor
Classic comment !
Cracked me up !
Animal is such an old romantic 😍
epic dude
He stayed in time with the band this time, unlike when they did it back on the Nowhere Else To Roam tour. Good show.
I did the acoustic version at a jam night. I was 6 months in hospital.
SO FUCKING ANIMAL!!!!!!!!
PRAYING THIS IS DONE AT DOWNLOAD! PLEASE COME ON STAGE TOGETHER! WOULD BE A M A ZZZZZINGGG

Aren’t you thinking of Filthy Animal from Motörhead ?
Or Animal from the Muppet Show ? ..
3 Animals who are all based on the same character
@@ZlONIST_OCCUPlED_GOVERNMENT mainly the muppet. he is a beast

Animal - also a very successful construction businessman in the UK 🤘🏼 the man clearly gives no fucks

He actually listened to their cover first this time. Last time he was out of time and sang during the solo.
theres only one antinowhere league
Where was my invite? It's not right to miss the sh!t
@KINGOFKINGS611 have you heard the mtv europe vma performance of it? you want angry, that defines anger - this song was made for metallica.
I prefer Dionne Warwick's version.
I thought that it was Aretha Franklin who sang the original?
Barry Manilow's version is sublime...
Richard Clayderman did the best in my opinion - even if it was an instrumental.
No way,Mariah Carey absolutely nails it.
Westlife's version wipes the floor with all of them 😂😂😂
When you're in Metallica...your idols meet you.
2:49 Hetfield's face! XD
LOL
