Navy suit looks best with oxblood shoes imo. I think that suit is too dark for the shoes and blends/dulls out the shoe or even suit for that matter. Oxblood with a navy suit, white/grey/light blue shirt makes the whole outfit more vibrant and interesting
I often wear oxblood dress shoes with a pair of light khaki slacks when in bus-cas, or even with a mismatch suit (light khaki slacks with maybe a brown, green, or linen sport coat, as I find the rich tones melt well with the light and crisp light khaki, and are complimented by the jacket colors. You are right though, they DO go well with brown or grey slacks, as well as a nice pair of dark wash jeans. Good stuff 👍🏼
Now this is what you call style. Thanks for peeping at my shoe collection as this gets an automatic like. I am glad you have oxblood shoes. Once again I would like to encourage you get an oxblood or burgundy suit as well later on this year. I really like the outfit with the oxblood shoes. Option 2 is also very good. Im glad you mentioned the color cause I thought it was grey trousers as well lol. Josh LOOK3 is also very good.
@@GenuineGents looking at Alain Dupetit suits for this reason. They have quite a few colors. Reviews are actually solid for very inexpensive suits. Gives you a chance to try out the color with minimal investment.
I just saw some great burgundy ised dress shoes and they look great but I was thinking how I would wear or match them, I’m older and and remember in the 70s seeing many of them and ppl. also buying burgundy matching leather jackets.
I just got my burgundy suit back from the tailor. I have tan, brown and black shoes and wanted something else to help make my newly altered suit really pop. I wanted to get signature Brogues in an cordovan red gloss color. I think it will pair really well. Ay thoughts or feedback?
Personally with a burgundy suit I'd be wearing a lighter brown... But if you went with a double monk strap shoe, I think you'd get that bit of flair you're looking for!
Gotta start somewhere! Also it’s awkward being on camera, and not everyone is naturally a cinematic or extroverted person. You don’t realize, wearing these types of clothes is a lifestyle, and not everyone was brought up with a dad who taught them how to be and act like a gentleman 🤷🏻♂️ Kudos to you for finding something you’re passionate about, and for being confident in it!!
How would you incorporate these shoes into your outfits? Let me know in the comments!

Awesome video. Oxblood and burgandy really stand out from the rest.
It's the little details that can make all the difference my friend!
Red leather shoes are well with black jacket & gray pants

Thanks for the comment! I'm actually in love with this colour of shoe and I'm pretty annoyed I didn't get these years ago!!
@@GenuineGents Yea thats how you will feel about your suit of the same color once you get it
@@jarodorla6949 Hahaha I don't think the same versatility will be there on those! Those are for when I'm filthy rich!

Also, back in the days, the main penny loaders were.burgundy color and the second choice was black. I just remembered that. Lol!
There's so many ways to style these guys. It's a more versatile color than people think! Hopefully this video was helpful to you!

Idk anything about what this video says but cuz I like to support you josh here I am your outfits look great lol but your plant is dying
Hahahahaha I know, I absolutely suck at keeping plants alive. I'm working on it slowly but surely!
@@GenuineGents oh same hahaah
One day I'll figure it out 😅 for the time being I love my fake plants and succulents more hahaha
Damn plants! I actually couldn’t even keep a succulent alive, yet here I am trying to start a greenhouse lolol.
I see a guy gesturing like a sneaker teenager and trying to explain how to match dress shoes
Hope you got some value out of it!
