Thanks, Matt It really helps seeing this content. I'm building a 70 Chevelle with BBC also. Just a question is it a 24" or 36" shaft? you say 24" but you list a 36" part number in the comments. Many thanks from Australia
Thank you, very clear! Are you sure you have enough clearance? Seems the engine could move (engine mount flex) and headers could hit the steering shaft, it could fatigue/break over time if it does.
This was a great video and well done. I have a 1968 Cutlass Supreme which parts are nearly identical to the Chevelle's. Everything I ordered fits perfectly other than the upper U-Joint I cannot get to fit. I ordered the Holley U-Joints which I thought looked a little sexier than the Borgeson parts. I ordered the 1"-48 spline Holley (pn: 320-104) and it WILL NOT slide on. Anyone else have this kind of issue? Should I just order the Borgeson U-Joint? Or this their a different size I should be considering since my steering column spline measures 1"-48?
Thank you very much. This video helped me a ton with my build.
Thanks, Matt

Good Catch! I did have the part number wrong. I just fixed it and added an amazon link for it. Thanks!
Great job....does anyone make complete preassembled kit as a direct drop-in?

It has plenty of clearance. It has been fine for over a year now.

Great video. Thanks. Question. Is the part number you listed for the shaft correct. In searching can only find 40024. Thanks.
I just checked and its good. Search Google for "Summit 450036" and it should take you there. About $78 when I just now looked.
@@MattOverDrive Thanks appreciate it.
