I absolutely love shooting my 10/22, but have hated the field strip. Bought your tool and it just arrived today. Thank God, no more field strip headache’s!

I purchased this product about 3 years ago. I can't see why anyone that ones a Ruger 10/22 would not want to purchase this tool. It's an outstanding accessory for your rifle.
I thought that I had found a rifle that was harder to get back together than my Winchester 190. After many choice words, bunged up knuckles and a scratched up ejection port I found this tool. Genius! I could not be happier. The extractor pins are an outstanding bonus.
Amazing! I bought it the second I saw it. The entire family has 10/22's and I have been busting my fingers for a long time going at it with screw drivers. You are a genius sir! I will pass the word to all the people I know. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!
Just what I needed!! Holding the retracted recoil spring in place as I put the bolt back usually takes me several tries before it fits together. I also will upgrade to a Volquartsen extractor now that I have a good tool for removing, replacing, and cleaning it.
Wish I thought about this 3 days ago when I placed an order with TandemKross. Didn't realize you made the other 22/45 tool I have. You've come up with great tools where people have had difficulty.
Fantastic. I even followed Joe's method rather than retracting spring all the way, then trying to shimmy the bolt in. Worked flawlessly 1st time. It'll save not only painful fingers, but less stress on the rifle. A must; trust me on this.
I ordered one of these...it arrived in a few days and it works just as simply and easily as this video shows! No more fighting that recoil spring with a screw driver. The extractor tool works like magic also. Get one TODAY!
I've been on the struggle bus with the reassemble process, thought about selling the rifle. I can't enough how this will help me out. Buying it right now!
I just recently got my first 10/22 and thought I would give it thorough cleaning prior to taking it to the range. Thought I was never gonna get the bolt back in. Now that I've found this I have to get one!
Nice vid and NICE TOOL!!! Going to have to look into this one. I have 3 10/22s, love them and think any tool to easy reassembly is a wonderful thing. Thanks for manufacturing and sharing this with the community!
I bought one of these tools off his eBay listing. In previous bolt installation sessions with my Ruger 10-22, I think I must have uttered more cussing than a sailor would! After many attempts, I finally got it. Then... a guiding angel must have lead me to this ebay site one day as I was doing some window shopping. Anyway, I watched this video and decided it looked so simple to use even a clutz like me could use it. Well, I had my 10-22 waiting all tore down ready and waiting for it to arrive. In a couple days, not counting the weekend, it came and I tried it and WOWIE!!! I had that sucker back in in one try with no cussing!!! Momma liked that part of it! So... If you're tired of fussing for seemingly hours over trying to get your bolt back in, spring a few bucks and do yourself a BIG favor! Get one and you will never regret it! All your 10-22 buddies will be asking to borrow it once they find out you have one and how easy to use it is. No more screwdrivers gouging up the inside of your upper receiver. What a simple and easy to use. Never mind about the additional tool that makes removing and installing the ejector. That is a bonus! Thanks for inventing this handy dandy little ingenious device!
Hey, I'm a Navy veteran. Why is it everybody says that sailors swear a lot? I've spent a considerable amount of time on Marine Corps bases and camps and they are well represented in the cussing category. $#%%!*@$##.
He's right. You have you slide your finger under the handle, and push it back straight. When you're just using the handle, it tends to sit crooked. It's definitely tricky getting the bolt back in. I bet this is a big help...
After coming across your channel and seeing this video, I bought two of these tools for use with my 10/22's from Tandemkross. I should have them by tomorrow afternoon and look forward to putting them to good use. My 74 year old arthritic fingers has made installing the bolts into the receivers a frustrating task. This ingenious tool of yours is a welcome relief to this old timer. Thank you! Didn't see your 22 caliber chamber tool or the scraper/brush tool on your website. Do you still make them?
I am relocating to another state, and am out of production on the Brush/Mop tool and most other items. Glad you found the Bolt Bar; it's a handy tool for sure, especially for us "Old Duffers". Thanks!
@@gunsmither Received the bolt tool this past Friday and put it to good use immediately. Works like a charm. Takes all the frustration out of removing and re-installing the bolts with my arthritic fingers. Now I look forward to cleaning my 10/22's again. Thanks for a great and ingenious tool. Now to find the S&W spring tool for my revolvers.
Holy Hanna! Between the McFadden loader and this tool I'll be shooting my 10/22 much more often now. Thanks for an awesome tool! Also who would give this a thumbs down? ::boggle::
@@get-the-lead-out.4593 It is gone, and all my photo's and text are gone from Ebay. Other items I had on Ebay are also kaput. Never received any notice that they expired from Ebay. I'm not going to bother trying to list stuff on there now. I gave up; could not retrieve my previous listings, and it's more trouble than it's worth redoing all the info and photo's, as I seldom sold anything there anyway. If you'd like one of these, please go to my website - www.gunsmithertools.com
@@gunsmither I had the same thing happen a couple years ago and so called ebay customer service who, like nearly every time, gave me a barely-speaks-english customer service rep and from what I could make out from what he said, ebay doesn't notify the seller. I did some searching and found that I either had to go to my items and then click "watch item" so they went to my watch list and from there I would get emails notifying me of when my items were about to end. The other thing to do is simply list your items by choosing the option that keeps relisting your item after the particular time periods of the item ends. I guarantee you will get much more word of mouth and traffic by listing on ebay than just relying on facebook, youtube videos, and/or erratic search engines through google, bing, yahoo, etc

FOR ONCE!!!! A tool that works like the claims say it will. If you own a 10-22 and don't have one of these you deserve the troubles your going to have when cleaning.
Actually No you can't. On most 10/22s the charging handle won't pull back far enough. Now you can do all of this without a tool, this tool however makes it much easier and faster especially if you have more than one to clean ect.

I made a tool exactly like yours 30 years ago out of a brass bar but mine of course has no side pins for extractor removal. Very clever addition.
Ordered one! My fingers will thank you, and your ingenuity.

Will your tool work with the KIDD non-contained rod guide?
You'd have to get it partially started into the receiver since it isn't a captured spring assembly.
Yes. I have the non captured Kidd rod and charging handle. It is only slightly trickier. Nearly impossible without this tool.
I must have that tool!!
Where can I buy this tool?
Thanks

A piece of fairly thick paper between the tool and the receiver inside front will prevent any scuffing of the paint.
pretty simple way of doing things when the buffer pin not in it
It is impossible to remove or install the bolt with the buffer pin still in place.
