    This has helped me. I’ll be doing this soon, as my car has been freshly tuned but the power is a bit lower tHan anticipated (k04 on 93) and I think the boost actuator adjustment wasn’t changed on the aftermarket turbo. So it may not be at full boost.
    My only query is what the boost pressure comes out as and what to convert to psi, as I heard it will show up as a 4-digit figure and you need to subtract?
    A guide on that would be great.

      Your boost will be in psi and you have to subtract your barometric pressure at your location - so 14.7 at sea level and it drops as you go up!

    What are the Live data that you can read in your smartphone's screen with OBD 11 connected?
    Has engine temperature? Coolant temperature? MAF/MAp sensor incoming air temperature?

      No idea - do you have an iphone? B/c I know some of this won't work unless you have an Android device.

    Does the sample rate increase if you select less parameters to log?

    If using a tablet with no cell data do you have to use a hotspot to be able to log while driving?

    • @karstgeo7290
      @karstgeo7290  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No. Shouldn't need ant service to log or use OBDEleven. Only for the apps.

      The OBD11 works with your phone or tablet through bluetooth, no wifi needed. That is what he was complaining about cutting out on him. Although it must be something about his phone or a setting because I never had this issue, and I also use it to log data so...

    Torque is a way better app.

    • @karstgeo7290

      I've used Torque Pro for logging, works fine but any VAG owner needs a proper VAG scan tool - OBDEleven is great for mods, maintenance work, etc. Also can log which is a bonus. Torque can't touch this for a VW owner.

      Torque compared to vagcom/obd11... No comparison 🤣 got to love the beginners! 👍

    Your disconnection isn’t normal, I’d check the actual device your using and stuff like that for issues. The connections sue probably isn’t the app, but the android device being used or your actual obdeleven unit is iffy.

      I'm not sure what you are talking about? I don't have any issues with my OBDEleven/phone/etc.?

    • @vwjet357
      @vwjet357 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@karstgeo7290 you literally talk about how it drops connection and it shows in the video. That’s not normal, and I’m mentioning it to help, as a possible reason. That’s all I’m pointing out. But if it’s normal for you, then that’s okay too, you don’t have to look into it or anything. Have a nice day.

      @@vwjet357 ah yes, now that makes sense. OBDEleven will drop out from time to time and it's "par for the course" with many users I've spoken to. Not worried about it.
