    I got a cold air intake and adjusted the wastegate. Went from 6 to 12 lbs boost.
    You may have a dirty air filter. The A 4 also has a top intake filter that blocks up.
    Boost gauges are cheap and it’s good to have one.
    I also heat wrapped my down pipe starting from the turbo. Before , I couldn’t put my hand on anything in the engine bay. It was too hot. Now , everything in the engine bay feels cool to the touch. Small things make big differences.

    Brilliant tutorial! I’ve been searching for a long time, trying to figure out how to graph obdeleven live data like that.

    What are your thoughts on the wastegate arm adjustments that people recommend on the forums and stuff? I know you said it can't be adjusted but I know lots of people recommend adjusting the jam nut on the wastegate linkage arm.

    I'm having an issue. B7 A4 2.0t. My engine load is reading over 100% with very little throttle input and low rpm, which I believe is causing me to run rich p0172. The list of maintenance that you can think of i already did. The car had misfire cylinders on cylinder 2. I replaced the coil packs and spark plugs because it was time. The PCV was no good either, that got replaced. The misfire continued, swapped injectors and misfired followed. Replaced with rebuild injectors. No more misfire. Did the carbon clean on intake ports. It used to be my car but now it's mom. I maintain it for her. She let me borrow the car once before the misfire. I could tell something was wrong but I didn't give it much thought. Later she called me about the check engine light ,which turned out to be the misfire on the cylinder 2. It's all repaired now. I think the high engine load causing the engine to run rich is what led to the injector failure. I can't seem to find any info on what is causing my car to have a high engine load.

    Is there a free OBD app that can show boost pressure specified vs actual in graph mode?

    Thanks for the info it helps a lot. I just did this test and my boost actual was zig zagging so drastically on hard pulls. Does anybody know the cause?

    Where do you get a list of channels for live data? On my Touareg it had all the live data as checkable boxes. My Audi wants channels like yours

      Did you find a fix?

      @robertwotring7318 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@finestpker not on the A3. It’s a little more basic i just have to search channel by channel then mark the ones i use in a notes folder. Tedious but it’s an older Ecu apparently

    I dont see these options in the app for my Vw Mk7 Gti, I got my OBDEleven adapter last weekd and installed the latest app. I have done about 6 adaptations and some long-coding so Im proficient at poking around.
    Maybe they removed this. When you go to charts, you have to add a value, from a drip down list with MANY options, there is no option to type and search or add a chanel number.

    • @robbylebotha
      @robbylebotha ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Update: I eventually found it.
      1. Goto charts.
      2. Click add value.
      3. First drop down, scroll till you find "Charge Ctrl", if you are looking for boost pressure, look for options that say "charge".
      4. Second drop down, look for actual value 1, at the bottom not the top options.
      5. Then look for specified value 1, again at the bottom not the top.
      Then you can observe what the engine is asking for and what is being produced.

    What was the problem

  • @SHONGERMAINE
    @SHONGERMAINE 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I think that specified and actual values are wrong there. At idle, you are going to be pulling a vacuum, 350 mbar. You have to be onthe throttle to get 970 mbar. Looks like you're getting good boost
