Great video & lots off information as ive pain in my arse in paying for a garage to do stuff for me while i can now do it for myself & find them problem's before it becomes a nightmare, thank your 👍☘️🇮🇪
Great Video, this is the one I have been looking for, bought an ob11 scanner like yours with no credits, so will definitely need some credits. Just changed the stalks on my Audi A5 2008 year to get cruse control working can't work out how to get the traction control off, the light is permanently on because changed both the stalks and airbag module believe this is normal when doing this , had a brain wave put my old airbag module on with the new stalks then the traction control goes of and no cruse control working as there was one pin less on my old airbag module believe the pin 6 or 7 pin was missing on my old unit that must be the one that controls the cruse control any help please and will I definitely need to buy credits to perform this operation on getting the car to recognise the new airbag module thanks again really great help with this obd11 unit
Hello Boss - thank you very much for this great video - I have Golf MK VII 2.0 tdi that has been updated to phase 2 - I unfortunately do have the indicators working since the updagre - What would be your take on this in order to solve the issue? Kind Regards
Really useful video ! I have recently bought the pro version . I have Audi A7 and i am trying to switch off the quick throtle response as its been on since while . Could yoi hep ? Much appriciated in advance.
Thank you, don't know exact procedure but you can use one-click application or search for "throttle response VCDS" and you will find coding instructions
Thx for all the info, followed your link to obd eleven page but there are various devices red and blue what s the difference? Is the blue one a newer version? Thx again
Thank you for a very informative video. Can you tell me what is the difference between the red and the blue OBDeleven after the 1 year pro prescription ends? Are then they basically the same units?
Ultimate (red) has everything than pro (blue) + unlimited credits for one-click apps. Once year ends, both are degraded to free plan. Device is the same with all plans.
@@iamcarhacker Thank you for the answer. I was asking about the difference between the two devices where one costs around 75 euros with no PRO or Ultimate plan and you buy credits and the one that has a 1 year PRO subscription. Can you do everything with the free plan if you buy enough credits?
@@janpravica5346 NO because one-click apps are not made for everything that you can do with PRO. And also you will burn 50€ of credits pretty fast if you use it regularly so is better to get pro and pay that 50€/year subscription.
@@iamcarhackerI just read some Amazon reviews and they aren’t good. I agree with them that the company is vague in what they provide for the money. It just says credits or subscription and whether or not purchasing the credit only version will allow you to upgrade to subscription later isn’t stated. The company is lax in their communication and seems support or lack there of is missing other than just a bunch of back and forth emails that drone on forever. Secondly, one reviewer posted that they thought just resetting the Inspection intervals (my main reason) would take credits, but later found out it required a subscription because it needs to access long codes. WTH? Another said SFDs cannot be accessed, yet I saw that supposedly they could, but VCDS doesn’t. These European companies can take a hike. As much as it stings and with the pain of dealing with an outdated GUI, I’m probably buying VCDS Hex V2.
Do the one click apps no longer work for 2024 vehicles? Just bought a 2024 S5 and got my OBDEleven today. On every one click item it says current value unknown and a button at the bottom that says unsupported. Also reached out to support but not expecting much help.
I have a 2013 gti and i did the Transmission tolerance setting in Basic settings , the 2 of them that show up. After i did it now my cars reverse isn't activating. Drive goes forward. I have a transmission fault now p1815 Press, ctrl, valve 1 short circuit B+
Code is for short to power so first you should try delete codes. If the code can go away you probably dont really have short and I would try doing the basic settings one more time (make sure battery isn't weak) If the code cannot be deleted you should check your fuses one will probably will blown. If you put new fuse and it blows up instantly you need to find shorted wiring.
I need the transmission values to manually enter in obdeleven cause I didn't back them up. With the correct values it will go back how it was before I did this. Where can I find those values? My thoughts is from someone who has a stock 2013 gti and use their values
If you change setting back it still costs credits but in pro you can just copy long code of control module and in case you want to go back you just paste it back without credits

Check fuses and fault codes first
Can you switch off "drive away autolocking" with it?
Yes
There's a similar app for Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Chrysler, Maserati, and other brands in that corporate family, AlfaOBD. Doesn't come with its own adapter.
Good to know I will check it out when I will have some italian car.
Does it give you transmission oil temperature and transmission adaptation as well?
If it's available for your model than it can read it.
