Nice! I would grease the zerks for the bushings before tightening. Don't over do it and damage your bushings. 3-4 squirts is probably ok. The video doesn't show that, but I went back and loosened it to grease it, then torqued it.
I think you would want to bolt up the knuckle, put the tire back on, and lower the car prior to fully torqueing the UCA's. Otherwise you could rear the up the bushings
@@FJCruiserChannel any regret with going with the STD over the HDs ? im trying to decide. JBA told me the STD will be fine for me and my uses. I just don't wanna kick myself down the line saying, ' I should of went with the HD'
We just spent 3 days in Ouray Colorado driving through many trails... Black Bear Pass, Cinnamon Pass, Imogene pass just to name a few. We did not have any issues with this UCA. It was very quiet as well. So far I have only praises.
I just ordered a set last night. I can't wait to install them.

Perhaps. Mine appear to be fine. Thanks.
Question, can I grease without having to remove tire etc.
Yes! there is plenty of room to grease all fittings
@@FJCruiserChannel thank you!!!
Any updates on these now 2+ years later? Any issues? Holding up well? Can't imagine they wouldn't be... they look awful beefy
So far so good, and they have been put to test many times. Thanks!
Video is great, what is music background?
Just some canned music from iMovie. I thought it fit the bill... Thanks!
How close is the tire to the UCA? Want these for my 2018 4 Runner but concerned about tire to UCA clearance. I have 285's on TRD Pro wheels. Thanks
I am running 295's on a 8.5" rims with 0 offset, and I haven't had any issues.
U think these hold up to the elements well? Ie winters, road salt..
I really don't know. Stuck in Texas all the time.

Have you done a bunch of off roading since the install? Any issues or good feedback?

What’s the masking tape covering?
It covers the hole where the brake line bracket is screwed into. Sorry, missed that step on the video.
can u use those control arms on 3.5" lift?
I'm not sure. JBA can probably tell you for sure. Tell them I sent ya. Thanks!
no castle nut???
Not sure what you mean? Did I forget to put one on? LOL.
Nice!
Thanks!
