Played golf with him at Woburn Golf Club with Ian Burns in 2016. He invited us to his concert the following evening at the Stables Theatre, Milton Keynes. Great company on the course and a great entertainer on stage.
I was one of the many present who sung along with Tom a the Albert Hall to this beautiful song in the sixties (the original version). Why oh why did he feel the need to add the later verse about walking the street and the subway rumbling underground. It doesn't fit. The other verses are so poignant .
I love that intro. God Bless you, sir. Great song.
I love the last thing on my mind by Tom Paxton! I am a huge Tom Rush fan! I saw Tom Rush in concert twice! I love folk music
So beautiful. Thanks Tom for all you have given us.
A man for all seasons to be cherished and celebrated. I have enjoyed his music for so many years.
Deserves far more fame than he has, but I doubt that bothers him
"in the wink of an eye my soul was turning in your hand" beautiful and evocative. Superb.

The very first song my guitar teacher taught me, once I could play three chords, when I was 7 years old in 1964, was "Ain't That News."
