I've been addicted to Elton John, Queen, Prince , so many others all my life! I can thank my Aunts and Uncles! Especially my Uncle Steve he gave me my first Albums! And the rest is history! Lolol.
At 2:00 my mom and dad are on the right side. they love telling the story of how they were sitting in the bar and one of workers offered them two seats on the stage (where the audience is) and how amazing and chance of a lifetime it was. I am so jealous but love watching this and hearing just how amazing Elton was
What year was this? It sure is a breath of fresh air seeing concert goers just enjoying the music, singing, dancing, etc. without the need to record on smart phones.
Heard the song when it just released. Playing pinball and smoking Texan plain sigaretts. Was 16 year's old in 1973. That music will never die. What a great time on the music front. Today I am 66 and still enjoy it as much.
It's what Bill the Cat always hoped to do, but he kept getting his tongue tangled up in the mic stand. And then there was the recurrent hairball problem...
What is up with people saying he's not good anymore? Sure he doesn't sound like he did like 40 years ago but no one does? Still sounds great here and has amazing energy for a 60 something year old man.
He said he would continue making music until the day he dies. He doesn't want to tour or be away from home while his boys are school age, which is completely understandable. I'll miss his performances but hopefully they'll still be active in the music industry
Пусть лучше он идёт на пенсию, чем умереть на сцене, как наш Градский. У него много планов на будущее, есть семья и он хочет жить как и все. Это правильно
Was in the car with my Mum the yesterday, it came on the radio and we Karaoked to the whole thing on full blast! ❤️ Thanks Elton for that special moment.
I’ve loved this song ever since listening to it when I was very young with my mother. It has always been one of my favorites and always reminds me of singing along to it when my mom now that she’s gone💜

To be honest, I've never heard this song before the movie, but to see such an enormous crowd going wild hearing the song is very touching. It's like they once again live back their youth
I heard this on record disc in the middle 70s... during party time on weekends by one in the neighborhood in Butterworth Malaysia next the RAAF airbase R
I think it might have sth to do with his background in classic music, being aware of different singing techniques to produce the same sound. He’s kept at the same level but I do feel his delivery is slightly different than in the 70s
Getting to see Elton perform this live in SF and sing along with such a huge crowd was one of the most special moments of my life. I listen to this song whenever I want to feel better. :)
Many years after my grandma passed away, my mom who is now in a wheel chair told me that my grandmothers favorite song to roller skate to was crocodile rock. She didn't like rock music but she loved this song. Im overweight and am working to lose weight and hope to one day be able to roller skate to this song like my mom and grandma did.
Elton is one of the most versatile musicians ever, from slow ballad to fast rock, he does everything. I was a big fan of his way back in 1970, it is hard to believe 54 years ago. His voice is also one on it´s own, pure enjoyment.

This song is nearly 50 years old and this man. Him and Stevie Wonder. They know how to warm up an audience. Their likes may or may not be seen again, but we need to cherish them
Una y mil veces. Cada vez que suena este tema por Elton y su banda pues el resultado siempre es: PIEL DE GALLINA. Excelente. Una época en plenitud. Vaya regalo.

One of several EJ favorites. Still got the 1978 LP album «A Single Man» in the living room, where «Song for Guy» is the best. The song is a tribute to Guy Burchett: «Guy Burchett was our messinger boy who was tragically killed on his motorcycle at the age of seventeen»
I wish I was born in the 50s so that I could live the 60s with The Beatles, 70s with Sir Elton Hercules John and the 80s with Freddie Mercury and Queen.
One of Sir Elton’s best rock songs
His concerts are golden. I love that Elton is doing fundraisers on TH-cam!
Helton
Jhon si Minas Gerais vai parar tudo Belo Horizonte sou fã dele
Yes his fundraisers are amazing. L way to go Hercules
Yes I love his fundraisers! Way to Hercules
i love how this person is everywhere
Owirw
I will always be so happy that my parents were born in 72 and 73 because I knew about classics like this from such a young age.
Szkoda że nie żyje Freddie Mercury
I've been addicted to Elton John, Queen, Prince , so many others all my life! I can thank my Aunts and Uncles! Especially my Uncle Steve he gave me my first Albums! And the rest is history! Lolol.
Elton is one of few musicians who can make crowd filled with 50 year olds act like a teenager right when they all sing the "La la la la" part
What about 60 year olds!!
@@dannymanny6917 truly is
I was one of those 60 year olds that thought his show was one of the best.
Дааааа, здесь все встали и поют, круто, у нас в России незнаю, было ли подобное. Респект
And the 60 plus!
At 2:00 my mom and dad are on the right side. they love telling the story of how they were sitting in the bar and one of workers offered them two seats on the stage (where the audience is) and how amazing and chance of a lifetime it was. I am so jealous but love watching this and hearing just how amazing Elton was
Thats soo cool💛
Meg G cool
I'm seeing him in December in Melbourne, Australia as part of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour I can't wait
Meg G that's awesome ❤️

Musica imparável! Obrigado 😊🍀🇵🇹
This, to me, is one of the best pop song to come out of the '70's.
Legends like Elton John will live forever - he will never die
AJ Ward 👍
Agreed. Freddie Mercury ;¬;
Elton johns legend will live on forever, his music will never die, I could listen to him forever and it never gets old.
Agreed for sure👍😁
This is factually incorrect. He will, at some stage, most certainly die
Genius
Elton isn't part of music. He IS music.
He is not only music. He is
TIMELESS!!!!!!!
TRUTH!!!@
I love that song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 my favorite is the la la la la la la la la la la Ia
Yes
Elton John is one of those musicians who can make the crowd go wild.
It's what Bill the Cat always hoped to do, but he kept getting his tongue tangled up in the mic stand. And then there was the recurrent hairball problem...
This man was born with music in his veins, so natural, creative ease
What is up with people saying he's not good anymore? Sure he doesn't sound like he did like 40 years ago but no one does? Still sounds great here and has amazing energy for a 60 something year old man.
I saw him live back in 2006 and he sounded fabulous! :)
Reggie's voice is like wine. It's getting better as he gets older.
Birds Are Dinosaurs they better get a musical career themselves with the tenor Elton John has.
Try age 73
he is 73
SIR ELTON JOHN- I humbly THANK THEE for bringing /ringing GOOD MUSIC 2 this world. I do bow-knees bad. Love with respect and smile.,Karita.
Elton has always been around making great Music, won't be the same if he really retires, everyone will miss him!!
He said he would continue making music until the day he dies. He doesn't want to tour or be away from home while his boys are school age, which is completely understandable. I'll miss his performances but hopefully they'll still be active in the music industry
CATHERINE READ oh, he recently said he’s retiring, sad day, said his son is way more important and wants that time w him. 👏 !
Пусть лучше он идёт на пенсию, чем умереть на сцене, как наш Градский. У него много планов на будущее, есть семья и он хочет жить как и все. Это правильно
Freaking awesome when everyone starts joining in at the “Laaaaa la la la la laaa” :D
Best part ❤
When Rocketman is nominated for numerous Oscars in 2020, Elton should open the ceremony with this.
Yees!
Gonna go out on a limb here and say he would open with rocketman instead
With Taron
may probably a medley
I wanna see him on The Red Carpet. He had so hard life and now look at him, he is a legend :)
Was in the car with my Mum the yesterday, it came on the radio and we Karaoked to the whole thing on full blast! ❤️ Thanks Elton for that special moment.
This song will NEVER fail to make me sing along
Look how happy people are there. I like it when the people sing the song n I'm sure the singers like it to. I bet they feel appreciated !!!!
Still one of my favorites after all these years.
Getting goose bumps when the crowd takes control of the lalala. Unbelievable
I’ve loved this song ever since listening to it when I was very young with my mother. It has always been one of my favorites and always reminds me of singing along to it when my mom now that she’s gone💜

Even now his voice is fantastic. Some rock singers sound super messed up as they age but he sounds amazing as always.
Snail Succ And after all the hard drinking and drugs. Very impressive.
Like axl rose🙁
Like fine wine, his voice only gets better.

All these years I loved Elton's music, but until I saw Rocketman *I had no clue how truly gifted this incredible man was!* I adore this song!!!!!
About 20 years ago saw him and Billy Joel together in concert, one of my favorites.
The king
I wish I was born in the 50s so that I could live the 60s with The Beatles, 70s with Sir Elton Hercules John and the 80s with Freddie Mercury and Queen.
