Eyeliner for me at 77 needs to go under the lid. Over lid as in my younger days now makes my eyes smaller looking. Cream blush now instead of powder blush. Nude lipstick makes me look dead. I need color. Doesn't have to be bright red. But no nude colors.
Really love how much these changes make a difference. I often keep my big purse hidden in the car, just in case, but go inside with a very small crossbody with just what I'll need. I love shapewear-- it feels so good, like whole-body compression. Lovely makeup too. Thanks for your video. Always feel inspired.

The first black column sundress could be changed somewhat, though! Remove the T-shirt, add a belt and “blouson” just a tad, unbutton a few bottom buttons and wala! Bet it would be smashing!

Heather, needed this wake up call. I start off full of energy going through my clothes. Now I’m thinking , am I ADD? Just so hard to let go of any of it. Same with makeup. I may have to call a friend . Seriously though 🙏🌞
It certainly is a process Ruth. have groups of Keep, donate and trash for clothes and throw out any makeup over a year old so you don't get a rash
Love your style and suggestions. This summer, I am getting rid of half of my wardrobe and shoes. It's just time to lighten up. You look stunning in the white skirt and gold blouse.

I bought another of those faux suede moto jackets in the lemon lime color (it's called lemon but is lime colored) which is usually not a good color for me but it's fun!

I love that goldenrod color blouse on you ! I just don’t look good in yellow tones or orange tones, but you look great in every color ! Heather, you always look great! I swear, it takes twice the effort to look half as good these days. I do tend to wear the same things over and over, I guess, and, I dread the summer heat because, you know.."batwings". I have to cover the upper arms. 🙄 I haven't given up completely yet, though I wish I had your model's savvy...huge difference in the "before" and "after" looks! Those were wonderful ideas, yes a lot of outfits are coming back into Style. Because I weigh 115 lb and I'm in my sixties now I still dress Gothic however Gothic changes overtime as well I never thought I would ever find a pair of flats that I can wear thanks for the idea I love that. Because I'm so tall I don't fit into women's clothing so I'm a special teenager LOL and I do wear long-sleeve outfits, one where I live + 2 time and hide my Ed I wear lots of jewelry that makes me look heavier I just absolutely love your videos and all the community that have all kinds of interesting things to say and what they're doing I do have a biker jacket that fits really well and I love that jacket was made in the the sixties, how I brighten it up is by using various scarves. I also have a leather jacket that I took to a seamstress I had her put embroidery on it so there's lots of different colors in there so when I wear that jacket I can wear a green red black tank top underneath. By the way I bought that makeup eyebrow makeup that you recommended oh my gosh I love it so much stencils is so great cuz you can change just the total look of your face, it's fun I may have to say you lovely in that yellow color. I want to apologize if anybody reads this and notices Miss spellings of run-on sentences, I've had PTSD for 7 days and it is starting to settle down so bear with me folks

I love that shirt you are wearing. And I see it’s from Amazon. So it will be going in my cart. And I just bought my first designer purse. I bought a YSL. And I love it. They had a lot of belt bags. But I’m not sure I would carry that. But I love them, just not for me. The makeup I can do if I ever do it. I never wear makeup. But when I start I bought everything I need.

I discovered that Vionic makes lovely " flats " that have support and they are so stylish. I know there's a few other manufacturers that make a lovely supportive shoe also. I don't like thong shoes , other than at home, the pool or beach .. lol. Every so often I wear them if it's extremely hot outside. Again, they have the support you showed.

I find it interesting that I actually have these clothes still for the Frumpy looks LOL
I like your shoe suggestions. However, I cannot find those with kitten heels or even colors. Our DSW and shoe stores have tons of tennis shoes in summer and boots in winter. Most shoes are extremely dressy and have very high heels.

First of all, I like that you have a realistic body type. A lot of style videos for older women are modeled by size 2 gals and I just sit there thinking the fashions won't look the same on my size 8 body. Also, I think you hit the nail on the head using the word "youthful." It is a mistake to try to look "young" when we're clearly not young. The goal is to look "youthful" which is an entirely different thing. At any age, "youthful" means vibrant, energetic, and confident rather than drab and dull and hiding out in baggy, shapeless clothing.

Shoes are the worst since i developed severe arthritis in my right food and ankle. I have some cute updated sneakers but sadly any heels are impossible. I have no problem spending ++++ on shoes so if I see something that I like, I buy. About bras - yes! Go for a fitting.

I am a retired RN, specialized in cardiology. The cardiologists often told female patients to quit wearing underwires. Recently, I found the Genie bra and am amazed at how shapely my deflated ff/g girls are looking. I am 68 and recently lost 140 lbs.

But I also have lot’s of sympathy for the older woman making ,,mistakes”, if she is happy in the floral pants …that’s all that matters
there is a happy medium between "dressed to look old and sheep dressed as lamb"...!!!

A lot of a line skirts most of us can't ware tham so wath do u advises for the rest of us
If you don't want to wear a skirt I would suggest a longer skort (a skirt with shorts built in) The flap in front hides your tummy quite well, if that is what you meant. Hope this helps
....I have found that longer " Golf Skirts " are so comfortable and look stylish. They are a bit pricey, so look for them on sale, at consignment Shoppes, etc.

I think as I age a top with a sleeve looks much better than showing my sagging white arms. Sometimes hard to find.

I'm sorry but that mustard colors does you no favors but the purse insert makes it so easy to switch!
On the contrary, I think she is one of the few people who can pull off this color. It looks good on her!
That black dress - take the tee out from under it , belt it (perhaps with a red or blue belt) and don't wear those ugly-ass clunky shoes. No need for a new dress, really. Wear what makes you happy. If you are happy in your clothes, it will show in your attitude.
