Okay. I'm looking at the Memphis Academy page and it says you have to live within the Memphis hiring area. This video seems to insinuate it doesn't matter where I live. Please clarify. I live in TN.
@@MUSICLYRICS-ku8et Hello! In order to drive commercially in the United States, you need to hold a US-issued drivers license for at least 12 consecutive months to qualify to obtain a CDL A. Unfortunately, we do not offer relocation assistance at this time.
What if I have my physical and urine test, but they didn’t do a hair test. Do I get that during orientation? And what documents would I need to bring during orientation?
All of that will be re-administered by Swift. There's a chance we may be able to utilize the already obtained DOT Physical, but the drug screening will have to be re-done. Either way it's no expense to you as the applicant - Swift covers these costs upon accepting you as a candidate. The rest of the details for orientation will be covered upon schedule.

Hello. I am writing and asking some questions for my husband about your company/CDL school. He is currently a heavy mobile equipment mechanic ( civil service technician)for the Air Force in NY state and has over 30+ years of military service. He has been planning personally and with his commander to separate from the military by the end of the year and/or February 2023. Besides ending his military career , his civil service position would also come to end because it involves a military commitment. So he will be looking forward to a new chapter in his life looking for a second career and that being truck driving. With my husband being 57/soon to be retired veteran, is he still able to apply for CDL academy and military scholarship through Swift? Plus could you explain a bit more about what the military scholarship all involves. My husband (Jim) had/has used his GI bill already for his associate degree and doesn't have much left in funds. If you could possibly give us some of those details and anything else that would help him make plans for easier adjustment for him to applying to Swift. Thank you for your time and feedback! What happens if i fail the pretrip 3 times..and i already have my Dot phisical
Depending on the school they may have you go through it again if not you will go home and have to come back but again. Depending on the school
