    1.55 cpm x 2,500 loaded miles = $3875 - all truck expenses, how do you even make money?

    I would love to become a owner Opp, but the account that I am on is not letting anymore owner oops on at this time. I have already talk to owner Opp recruiting and they are extremely helpful. I have to wait until next year sometime hopefully by February or march. Good luck out there guys and have a great Christmas .

    So I’m a new company driver. I’ve had my CDL for 2 months now. I have a few questions…
    What’s the typical cents per mile when you lease a truck?

    • @sheysandNCgrownvirgo
      @sheysandNCgrownvirgo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @Universaly that’s the only thing about these large companies they still pay per mile. I know of owner operating opportunities coming up from a smaller company whom pays buy load each week. They also are about to open up dispatching services. This company is trying to truly change the game of owner operator and really support them and not take from them through the fine print. Get your own truck. Lease purchase programs for trucks have fine print.

    • @SannarClaus
      @SannarClaus 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@sheysandNCgrownvirgo I totally understand where you are coming from but I would never lease a truck. I’ve already saved a substantial down payment for a brand new truck but the market being what it is right now with the ridiculously over inflated prices it’s causing me to wait even longer and save more money which isn’t really a bad thing

    Thank You for your advice, unfortunately, when I saw this video was too late my husband was o ready to enroll with Swift, the training was ok, the mentor was very nice but when he start driven for SWIFT starts the nightmare, payment was horrible no more than 400 a week, wrong directions all the time, 3 weeks try to communicate with drive leader with no results they say if they work 5 days a week they guarantee 1000 p week but after 4 days they give all the excuses possible for he can not make the 5 days driving, like; wrong directions, empty buildings, no trailer, the macros work perfect 4 days a week, but not 5, 60 hours waiting for a trailer, not communication, no answer calls, make payments for the parts because they don't approve the transaction, has to be any government institution for regulating this abuse.
