I went to The TQ a couple of years ago. The music was a great mix of classic rock and some pop at a good volume (you can still have good conversations). I bought a pretty Thai bar lady some drinks and then bar-fined her! The experience was amazing and I am happy that this fine Pattaya institution is still around today!
TQ..Cold Cold beer Great music.. Little bit of fun too if you want.😜 Ended up there many times trying to walk from Soi 4 to Walking Street.First time I was there was 84/85 I reckon..Well done for staying alive TQ..🦘🦘🥃🍻🍻🍻
Tahaitian Queen was one of the first places I went on my first trip to Pattaya back in 1998, and lets just say I went in on a good night. 555! I have been back to Pattaya too many times to count and I stop by for drinks and fun at least 1 night every trip I have gone, other then when I rented a bike to go ride and only ride. I can never find a shoe that fits my fat foot in Thailand or Korea so I just order on line and get that wide shoe sent to me. great video sir.
Absolutely over the moon to see Taihitian Queen is okay 🙏 thank you Lucas for the update very greatful once again i clicked into one of your vids, and the girl bike wash 😄 i think I'd buy a bike just so I could bring it down there 😂
I have to say I really enjoy watching your video's for the simple reason that you show not just Pattaya but also other places and you show it like it really is, if it's a bad rainy day you show it if it's nice and you can show the local people and what normally goes on in a village or town then you do. It's nice to see something other then agogo bars and beer bars all the time and how you can take this girl or that to your room with you. It's just nice to see a NORMAL video lol
I’ve just paused your vlog at the Tahitian Queen part! I’ve been to a few Agogo bars, but I went to the TQ on my last trip after trying to cross it off my to do list for a couple of years. I loved the place, it wasn’t pushy, fair prices, and great old school decor and ambience. I was gutted when I read that it had closed, and your vlog is the first I’ve heard that it is still going! Great news! That together with the Pattaya Beer Garden apparently reopening sometime soon, literally my two favourite places, looking forward to the borders opening and welcoming me back... 👍👍👍
great the TQ is back open was there a few times in feb 2019 . beautifull girls inside and lots of them . great music with the dj .bar fined one girl very friendly inside but not so much when outside still had heaps of fun there
Thanks for TQ update was sad to hear their problems but a strong community in Thailand and abroad stepped up to make sure it stayed open. In my case till I can get back. Hope Vee recovered after her brush with the piggy.
nice to hear TQ is back in business...checked it out one time and planned on checking it out more..absolutely has more personality than most other places out there
I saw my sticker on the TQ door, ha ha ha. My first of many visits to the TQ was in 1986. In fact it was the first place I ever visited in Thailand. The long boats dropped us off on the beach from our ship right in front of it.
@@manosparavida3551 I think the QE2 trip was in 1984. Saw some of their crew taking on the local Thai fighters in the Marine Bar. it was a rout, the Thais winning 10-0!! I just happened to be in Pattaya at that time.Great memory though.

Great new about the TQ, I’ve been in a few times. I’ve thought of it as more an afternoon bar than a late night establishment. More than that though, I loved the history and nostalgia the place has. It’s literally a historic business in Pattaya, and for that alone should be preserved. I’m very happy to see that it has be resurrected.
Good news to hear TQ is still open, great memories through the years. Those shark helmets are pretty cool. That Hangover bar regarding the bike getting washed is probably the best option for me, I not saying I’m lazy or anything, you probably know what I mean, ha, ha.

Hi Lucus N Ve enjoyed your vlog. How cool are you man, your helmet a shark no less matches your bike colours very nice indeed. Good news that the TQ bar has been resurrected it would be a great loss to the town if it went under. Looking forward to your next vlog. Take care. GOD Bless you and yours. M
my first visit was there in 2004. Of course I was aware of the TQ and some of its history. So I stopped in. Didn't find much of interest but did appreciate the decor. Over the years stopped in a few times for a beer. I did like that they seemed to play rock and not disco the few times I was there. I am always happy to see some long time places stay around.
The new helmet looks good on the Honda. One of those silk skull caps under your helmet will keep it from catching your ears and is easy to wash the day out of it and will be dry by morning. It also helps reduce the helmet hair styling effect.
Hey Lucas, congratulations on the new open face helmet. Now you will have perfect "6 o'clock" peripheral vision around town and out in the open fields: Be sure to stick with the full face for your road trips.....enjoy...!!!
Loved the shoe shop part, I love trawling through shoe shops. The laces are awesome , some are longer than others .. it always blows my mind when I go to try them on and my foot rams the tissue paper into the toe part then I have to take them off and remove the offending paper . I usually put it in my breast pocket, end up not buying the shoes then I end up taking it home with me!! So then I end up taking the tissue paper back to the shop and trawl through the shoes to find the one without the tissue paper so I can put it back in... it’s never worked out yet. It wasn’t the one you were shown by the shop assistant as I could just see the top of the tissue ball in the interior shadows. Fascinating stuff , I was going to watch the six nations rugby tomorrow but after seeing this video I’ve changed my mind .. I’m off to Shoezone first thing!! After I’ve washed my bike and weighed my helmet 👍
I live in Pattaya Pad Condo on Soi 42 about 100 meters from the little spray car wash you used. It looks bad and is often dirty but they do a lot of business. Taxi cars and bikes go there later in the evening to clean up and the equipment always seems to work. Don't know how you found it because it is so far off the beaten path. I've lived here for 5 years and only discovered the two ones there about 2-1/2 years ago. Don't know if you noticed but there is another similar one just a few meters away. But I always use the same stall that you did. 20 baht is very cheap for an initial rinse off and again after washing it. I take a bucket and my own soap and really get into it. I know it got washed thoroughly because I did it myself. The 100 baht commercial car washes are in a hurry and don't wash the cast wheels very well. I like your new helmet (I dislike full coverage models - too hot in this weather) but the price is too much for me. I had a $400 (U.S.) full coverage helmet in the States years ago but I lived in Michigan, not 90 degree F. every day Thailand. Good videos. Have fun on your next trip. Ride safe. Oh, I forgot. What is the name and location of the bike shop where you bought the helmet? I know you told it in another video when you bought the new bike. Thanx.
Yes, many people did and even the news outlets reported it, but things aren't always as they seem, sometimes there are back stories and many times the actual truth can be stranger than fiction.

i fall in love when i sit yesterday on 3rd road Big Wings and did not like the CRF Rally version too be for me.
With this price its a no brainer
@@Sambo111 As a side note, the CRF 450 is now here as well, BUT the price is over double the 300.
@@Rides4Kickz
Since CRF 450 has Enduro DNA oil change is every 1000 KM! not practical
Beside my Max speed in town is 30Kph just look at the road accident speciffically girls and the 10bht pickup. i drive super slow
10bht pickup are dengerous they slow and you know what happen in soi bokahoo when the guy in front of you buypass them and drive forward to you in your lane.
So the CRF 300L seems perfect as long travel suspention and lightweight are more important factors then speed and power, especially around Soi Bokahoo big C beach road etc
Coconut water does give you power. In the bathroom in your #2's! It's a LAXATIVE! LOL
Skechers are expensive there at almost US$120 a pair.
In fairness, they had a 30% off sale going so it would be almost a third off that price but I'm told they are cheaper at the sports store on the second floor.
haha, I have used that bike wash.
What Soi is the bike wash on please
I like both options for keeping the bike clean self-wash or have some pretty girls wash it.
That is a great helmet very light and passes all the safety requirements - I like it.
Totally agree!
