  • Today we depart Pattaya by speedboat and our destination is Koh Phai where we hope to enjoy the real Thailand Island Experience for the day. Just 35 minutes from the shores of Pattaya, we drop anchor and set off to explore the beaches and the interior of this uninhabited Island with clear water and beautiful scenery. Come along as we discover the beauty of Koh Phai, also known as Bamboo Island. Enjoy the Ride!

Mr. Lucas, may I offer suggestion w/o sounding condescending: You might wish to correct the angle of your snorkel's tip; you would be better served to have the tip come out at the rear of the crown of your head. It's the point that will stay out of the water the most. Especially if you are swimming, many times you will be looking down whilst moving forward and actually look back at something that you have passed over. If the tip were near to the forehead it would have surely been submerged and full of water (though, easily cleared w/ a quick "burst" of air before breathing in again). Appreciate all of the videos, keep them coming good sir !

Lucas, for your GoPro seal, if you don’t have any, get you a small container of food grade silicone grease. Works great on under water gasket and seals for cameras. And it’s cheap, I always got mine from a restaurant, just took a small pill bottle and got about a coke bottle caps worth in it. They use it to lube slicers, mixers etc. one batch will last you a lifetime if you can keep, from losing it!HAha! I keep mine in my dive bag.

Yer great relaxing video Lucas. Vee and her mate really enjoyed it, looks like they had a great time. That rubbish on the beach edge just shows you what rubbish is floating out at sea. When on time we were sailing out at sea a bit further than koh pai. We noticed loads and loads of floating rubbish about. It's disgusting but that's what the open ocean is like now. It does collect on islands especially in covid times. Bri and frei east Yorkshire.

Awesome R4K might have been sea urchins he was talking about some of them are highly poisonous especially to people who have allergic reactions to stings etc and can be fatal with no antivenom, heavy tourist areas will have lagoons netted off and cleared but that island was natural so anything can be down there I guess...
Looks like a fab place for a day trip Koh Lahn can be too overcrowded but right now prob fine.
Not a bad price for the boat really you'll be paying for the full boat and for him to wait with you, it would prob be the same price if there was 10 of you going over...
Nice little vid R4K makes you wonder how those dogs survive over there they must be really scratching about for food! They were defo glad to see you guys lol

@@Rides4Kickz Thais only have 2 speeds... flat out or parked! It's hard work getting them to pilot the speed boats at a sensible speed, which can still be quite fast, but slowing down a little actually makes the trip a lot more fun. Having lived by the beach all my life, and my parents having a small 25' boat when I was a kid, I enjoy being on the water almost as much as the destination, so don't mind if it takes 15-20 minutes longer to get there. (It would likely cost him less in fuel too!)

That's funny. I was a quarter master in the US Navy and I loved being on the water. I like your water adventures.Their called Sea Urchins , their the equivalent of a porcupine of the sea. What was at the top of the Hill??

There wasn't much of a view from up there, too many trees in the way, even during dry season, but the trail went over to the next beach where the Navy building is.
