Hello Sophie :)) Tell the Thomann or HB management who decided to pull these out of offer that this was the worst mistake they did. Tell them to bring the BZ series back! Newer models dont even come close to this one. This bass was the best balance between aesthetics and features Harley Benton ever offered. Hopefully they will listen to the countless pleas to bring the BZ series back. Thank you! 😊
@@sonysoni5079 I had to file a little of the edge against the headstock. It didn't take too long. And the truss-rod cover as well to fit. Like half a millimeter off of both.
I have one of these that I bought a few years ago and it is still one of my go to 4 strings. I have noticed that the neck actually moves a bit like a set neck rather than neck through when I put a lot of pressure on it. I was actually concerned at first and thought I got a dud but it hasn't caused any issues whatsoever. The neck is super thin like an Ibanez Soundgear (which I love) so that might be the cause. Electronics sound almost as good as my Bartolini equipped Soundgear. Overall killer deal. Wished these were still being sold, I would love the 6 string version.
@@HarleyBentonOfficial Thank you. I've also a Harley Benton semi-acoustic bass and the Harley Benton CST-24T. I have the Harley Benton MM-84A SB Deluxe and TB-70VS Deluxe on back order 😁😉😉. I will have 5 Harley Benton's in total soon 🤙🤙🤙🤙
I swear I may have purchased on of the last few of the BZ 5000 NT & the 4000's were not readily avaiable either a the time! Those of use lie @Keshro who score one - Im thinking collectors item!
I love mine for a while now and it's a totally awesome bass. It is on the more heavy side, but that you get for a selection of hardwoods. That thing has sustain for days. Sadly it is not any more available at the moment. A friend asked me for some links and reviews. Does it come back?
I couldn't find it either. I was really looking to purchase this but I am not finding anything anywhere on it. It's like it doesn't exist outside of some TH-cam reviews :(. I can't even find a link showing out of stock or anything.
They replaced this range with the vastly inferior HBZ range. I bought 2 HBZ's and sent them back. I then bought 2 Cort basses that are yes more expensive, but cost the same as you don't have to replace the tuners, the pups and electrics. I would have bought the BZ 4000 and the 5000 if they existed. So to all those that will see this and want the BZ they stopped making them and now produce the HBZ. You may be tempted to buy one, you will probably regret it as I did and send it right back. I hope HB learn their lesson.
Great demo -- thanks! I would love to purchase a BZ-4000, but can find no new stock. Is this series still in production? Hopefully just out of stock after the holidays, between production runs, etc.
