2020 Alfa Romeo Stelvio TI fuel induction service

Instructions on how we perform the fuel induction service for the Stelvio. Same principle goes for the Giulia as well. This video is for the 2.0L engine only. The 2.9L is slightly different and content will be available shortly.

Would running it through the vacuum system work as well? On other makes even those with Direct injection systems I've seen it done through a vacuum hose.

What’s the recommended interval or symptoms for needing this service?

Typically it’s a cold start misfire, vehicle will seem to run more rough and fuel economy will be down a slight bit.

How is this supposed to clean the intake valves?

So since the vehicle is running off the strong chemical and no fuel is being introduced for about 35-45 minutes, the chemical breaks down the carbon and when it’s finished, simply give the vehicle a spirited drive so the deposits can make their way out. It’s not going to clean them 100% but it definitely helps out with the carbon and the vehicle always run smoother anytime I do the service.

​@@hycastro@nexushexus4365 it won't clean the intake valves at all since the engine is direct injected...however, it will clean the injectors
