That clamp hot pipe is a major pain, I like to put that end on the cooler if it’s out before I put it in, it’s two piece, when just fixing that I use a pocket screw driver, and you want the outer piece to be level with the cooler
So, I'm loosing coolant with zero visual leaks and when I do a regen lately there is a lot of smoke/steam so I am guessing I have a bad egr cooler. Truck is an 09 with 160k. And thoughts on how I can test and confirm the issue?
Did you get a chance to watch my video on EGR issues? You have to pull the hose on the front of the EGR cooler to see if it is wet inside. If you do have a bad EGR cooler and you replace it yourself, make sure all your piping is clean and dry. Clean your Delta-P sensor and Air/Boost sensor

@@YARCHLRL No problem hope it helps you
Hey my Mack 613 mp8 smoke white and loss power Do you think that is because of the EGR cooler? It already has 464,097 miles
The same company must make egr coolers for every brand of engine because no matter the brand, you'll get leaking coolers
