    Aftertreatment 1 DPF differential pressure
    SPN 132 FM 0

      Sounds like you might have quite a bit carbon build up on your egr and crossover. Have you tried anything on that unit. Like regens or replaced any parts. This is my email. I can email you my number. It be easier to try and diagnose. Or we can try it over this platform. Whichever suites you better. Joegonz268@gmail.com

    Hey Joe.I have a 2012 international with a Maxxforce Dt. every now and then it will blow a lot of white regeneration smoke but it doesn’t call for a regen was I stop accelerating the smoke stops any idea what it could be?

    • @JoesBusBarn
      @JoesBusBarn  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Smoking white or grey when regen occurs is normal due to extra fuel being dump to make the exhaust temp rise. It depends how often it smokes and for how long. White smoke could also be caused by coolant leaking into combustion chambers or exhaust system.

    Hi. I'm working on a 2015 International prostar maxxforce 13. The dtc is low egr flow. Would you say that it has a bad valve or gummed all up and needs a good cleaning? The dealership replaced the egr valve, cooler, and all sensors in late 2018.. it's my friends truck and he does not have tons of cash to throw at it for a dealership to guess at the parts. Thanks for your advice and great videos. I am a instant sub

    I have a question
    if the coolant gets inside the engine through the EGR cooler the same time your coolant gets dirty too ?
    I did a oil analysis for my 2012 DT466 the results came back high levels of coolant in the oil, I'm getting little bit of white smoke also my coolant is really clean but the same time I'm losing little bit of coolant.

    • @JoesBusBarn
      @JoesBusBarn  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Coolant in the oil can only be an oil cooler issue (or a major head gasket). Egr cooler would cause coolant loss. It would be blown out the exhaust pipe

    • @Batman-on6gn
      @Batman-on6gn 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JoesBusBarn but don't that make your coolant dirty also ?
      coolant is looks clean.
      Even though the oil analysis came back high levels of coolant in the oil,
      Still oil looks clean.
      This the COMMENTS from Blackstone Laboratories
      Unfortunately, this oil is heavily contaminated with coolant, which shows up in our testing as high levels of potassium and sodium. Inspect this engine carefully, and keep oil change intervals to 1,000 miles or less to help mitigate buildup until the source of the contamination can be found. Aluminum and iron are also high compared to DT 466 averages (which are based on oil run for ~6,400 miles), showing extra wear at the pistons and steel parts like the cylinder liners and rotating shafts. No fuel dilution was noted present. Check back to monitor.

    Hello. I purchased a 2013 AC 3000 Shuttle Bus (100k miles) (maxxforce 7) and i notice clouds of black smoke when starting to accelerate. Once it gets running it runs great and no smoke, but coming from complete stops is the issue.
    Could this video be a solution to this problem? We recently replaced a FRP sensor (has not asked for a regen since) and i feel like its probably why it had all this soot buildup. I am scared of being stopped and fined. Pls help if u can (p.s. i am in texas)

    • @JoesBusBarn
      @JoesBusBarn  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. EGR could be the cause of your issues. Would be easier if you could give me the codes that the unit has stored in the ECM. You can pull those codes without a scanner. Email me at joegonz268@gmail.com

    I have a 2010 international 4300 losing power up hill check engine like goes in and out. Had DPF cleaned professionally but still no power. One active code SPN 1209 FMI 9. Could that sensor cause all these issues?

    • @JoesBusBarn
      @JoesBusBarn  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey there Travis. Yes. The EBP exhaust back pressure sensor can cut back your power. Check the connector before replacing the EBP. The pigtails are about 60% of the problems.

    • @JoesBusBarn
      @JoesBusBarn  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey there Juan. I would say replace that cooler at ur earliest convenience. If u prolong it. It could cause damage to DOC and DPF. We have ran units for maybe a week (driver doesn’t report issue) and have been lucky so far. But I wouldn’t recommend driver ur unit for to long adding coolant. I’m assuming that ur using about a gallon every other day. Or is it worse.

    • @JoesBusBarn
      @JoesBusBarn  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The intake heater element is the bent up (accordion like) webbing and the the one you are inquiring about is bolted behind the aluminum case. Wire from element runs right to it. I don’t have a picture of it to show you but it’s on the case where the heating element is mounted onto.

    • @juangomez8186
      @juangomez8186 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JoesBusBarn thanks but do you think if I do the cleaning and do the same that you did the code will disappear???

    • @JoesBusBarn
      @JoesBusBarn  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It will if the heating element were to be covered in soot or bent a bit out of shape. If the code persists. You might need to replace the control unit bolted on the case on the outside of the intake. It’s something I would try. You will see the condition it’s in when you remove the upper intake (plenum)

I know dealer is way more expensive. It’s not that hard to do if you want to do it yourself. Just be careful when pulling out EGR valve. 2 out of 3 break. Just take your time and apply lubricant when extracting. Any ? Feel free to comment or email. I’ll be happy to assist you in what I can.
