True, however the loggers took out far more trees to get to the trees they wanted which has been the problem. It's a bigger mess for us and less revenue later as those trees have been loss. It was to be selective logger in order to have less damage and loss of trees.
Sounds like your problem is with the salesman instead of the logger. If you want the tops cleaned up its gotta come out the timber spilt. Some of the small trees they took could have been low grade timber. If the small trees they took out was low grade or junk trees like Paradise or hackberry then they done you a favor.
Yes, our biggest issue is with the salesman's purely just selling the job. Then the lack of communication between the salesman (who also is over the entire project) and the logger to what our agreement was for our property. The logger did say he got rid of some "junk trees" that the state of Indiana doesn't want to keep which was beech trees. We wish he would have asked us although Indiana did want them, we did. It just makes more of a mess with more trees down. Beech trees have some value, but our understanding is that it's pretty low. Thank you for your thoughts much appreciated.
