Great content, thank you for the fascinating discussion. This is a great channel for me, as a 54 year old art obsessed woman, I have just reduced my full time job to 4 days,so I can devote 1 day a week to getting my art out there and start making an income from my art. I realised that I have ADHD at the rather late age of 50, so my approach is very scattered, and I find it SOOOOO difficult to finish projects, prioritise my time, to keep up with social media, to promote myself and my work, but I absolutely know in my heart that I will keep on going, and gradually grow into a full time artist. It’s gradually growing, a trickle of Etsy sales, 1 a month, and some mural work, and the offer of some more today, possibly . I wish I could afford the course, maybe in a couple of years if it’s still going. Thanks for the great content 🙏👍😍🎨🤞🤞🤞
My passion for art began in kindergarten after creating a watercolor over crayon that the teacher really liked. I am a 65 yr old self taught Hobby Artist (for lack of better terminology) I started sketching with charcoals as a teen, continued with oil and acrylic. Mixed media collages are by far my favorite form of art. It gives you endless ways to utilize your creativity. It is like layering in graphics, but with a hands on approach giving more dimension and more options of materials.
So much truth to your lesson :) My (sad) experience is, that artists teaching classes in painting don't teach how to paint, but how to paint like they themselves do. Whereas you teach the essence and principles of making art. Thank you!
I love your videos. I live in the great northwest. I wanted to do art all my life but you don't choose the financial family you are born in. Finally in mid_life and change of life I went to school for art teaching. They closed out my minor and leftover life contributed, so now it leads me to stepping into my seventies. I am currently taking care of some financIal obligations. Now I have discover your program and very excited about learning techniques rather than in college they let you explore without a lot of teaching. Techniques are up to you. That's ok but not when you don't know whats out there. So hoping and praying within a year health and finances will be all settled and I will be one your masters. In the meantime thank you so much for all your videos. They are great mentors. Thank you.
I so very much totally enjoy watching your episodes on The outstanding Artist and can't wait till episode 6 comes out. I can't afford to join the Mastery Program right now but if I ever can believe me I will jump on it in a heartbeat. Thank you for for giving me the opportunity to watch your informative videos. You guys are awesome ❤❤❤🎉😂
Ahhhh mannnn! I LOVE you guys! And I loved Bri in the Outstanding Artist show (which she left at the end 😬) I’m 61 and I wish with all my artist heart I’d have heard you speak 40 years ago lol. You are speaking directly to my heart! Thank you for sharing these conversations with us. You will not likely know the ways you have positively impacted many of us out here in you tube watching land. ❤❤
Hello, I saw your comment and wanted to say hi, I am 61 also and started the program in April! I have learned so much and am so excited and can’t wait to do the next lesson! I am surprising myself and family and friends with the art that I am creating. It’s never too late to become a professional artist! Good luck!
Yes, I am watching this video from Myanmar.. only a year later though. I myself is an artist. I find it interesting watching your video as we here in Myanmar have no such thing. Thanks a lot.
Al these styles, so great that you show that not only the old masters do matter but also new styles and mixing old and new is great. But I keep asking myself what style I will create. I am painting since a few months and will take your course. It is so cool learning from you! Can you tell me what is the difference between surrealism and abstract? I think I know because ofcourse Dali is surrealisme. But why isn’t that also abstract? Or is it also abstract? Just interesting for getting the things set in my mind :)
I love how freely and expressive you teach people to paint and your style which is great and I hope to take up the program. My only thing is that I CAN indeed tell when someone has gone through the Milan institute even just coming across artists on Instagram - there is a recognisable style that Milan artists all seem to have and I don’t necessarily like that you can tell but I guess it’s hard to avoid 😅
I love this. I have just enrolled in the mastery program and am most excited to reconnect with myself. Being doing a lot of inner work and the timing of all this is just perfect 😍 Thankyou for your guidance and wisdom
The dental comment had me laughing so hard. My day job is a dental lab tech and at dental conventions we talk about all the crazy cases we’ve seen and worked on. 😅
Can you guys do a video where you give or brainstorm ideas for painting prompts. I am returning to art and taking it seriously this time and I'm on the path of finding voice and style, I also get bored easily and I don't know what I like to paint because often I don't know what to paint.
Well this was not what I was expecting. I actually thought it was going to be about music and singing...and I would have enjoyed that as well (in my head I wrote a story about Dino and Jake doing a music gig...which would also be great)! Anyway, thanks, I'm thoroughly enjoying the content. Having a bit of trouble reminding later interviews as they aren't connected to the older videos...maybe you could put them together? 😉

MaryLyn L. WILLIAMSON FROM Spokane,Washington had art 6th grade, learning as I go. You two sound great to me and wanting to learn.
Watching the art work slide show gave me goose bumps all such beautiful pieced
I'm following Eric Robitaille too and I swear I thought: "this guy's style looks like Dimitra Milan's Style". Interesting!
I really enjoyed listening to this as I painted. I just started painting again, and this was lovely company.

How you getting on? Thinking about it but it's a lot to invest if it doesn't work out....
Hi there, I'm becoming more and more interested in this school

What? I love Bri! I did not know she also did the program!
I love your content, but links to things you are talking about would help!
It s 17 july 2023
And i watch from The Netherlands😊 🤞🏻
Great! We love the Netherlands!
Do we have to buy supplies separately for the mastery program?
Hello from Linda Patrick in Tennessee
Does every ppainting need to have a focal point? Like an abstract specifically.
Is Demitra your daughter? Your chemistry is beautiful. Love this series, been following since day one! Feel like I missed some of it though

Hi from Tucson, Arizona!

I’m in Colorado Springs, Co and it’s 10:30 pm RMT zone
Could I ask. If you pay for the whole year, can you access all the modules at the same time, rather than be fed module by module?
I like to paint lots of different things and styles will this confuse the audience?
😊Mary Ann from Maryland ❤
The Mastery class is in US dollars right
Yes that’s correct! 😊

Starry night on yoga pants! OMG thanks for that...😂

Why all your students have the same artistic style tho? They all paint same women, flowers and animals...
