    I just want to say….. normal people should not be looking up to these influencers. They don’t work the hours that we do or live the same lifestyle that we have. This is their full time job… We should only be striving for a more healthy lifestyle. Don’t compare your fitness journey to the ones of all these people, they have enough time to eat well and exercise for 3 hours edit…(it’s not about making excuses, I’m just saying to try your best to workout and eat healthy. I am a student with a full time job and sometimes I can’t make it to the gym, I’m always running late. Sometimes it’s either I sleep the hours I need to or get up earlier and go to the gym and be tired throughout the day.) So no, it’s not about making excuses!!! I’m only saying to try your best and not to compare yourself to these influencers!!!

      Not surprised @gainsbybrains hasn’t replied to this comment. It’s all money money money, havi your own version of reality show about your life in the gym, smoke and mirrors, selling you stuff and almost always apart of the pyramid scheme that is promoting brands. Young kids feeling bad they aren’t just like her when like you said.. don’t compare cuz the average persons life isn’t getting paid to videotape yourself every day.

      Maybe not in your circles so it doesn’t appear that way to you? But I know many who build muscle like this. If you hang at the right gym, you’ll be surrounded by them. From all different walks of life. The main part is meal prep and consistency.
      Pretty disappointing to read such negative comments about a TH-camr I appreciate so much that shares so much of her life and is helpful.

      Just to add, the busiest times at the gym are before and after work - so it’s a choice for *most* people if they want to do this or not.

    I was beyond thrilled to hear you talk about your thighs touching & wanting to gain weight … this so unusual to hear (sadly) in today culture & I have naturally bigger thighs than I would like .. I’m always trying to shrink my legs and have struggled for so long with this mentality because so many people I watch have a big thigh gap. Hearing you speak about this and seeing how amazing your legs look etc made me think perhaps I should embrace and work with what I’ve been given .. can’t wait to try out the leg routine .. what a lovely positive message ! Thank you 😊

    Honestly, I've learned that the biggest "self care" thing I can do for myself is to meal prep, which my friends tell me is just a chore. But if I don't do it, I literally will forget to eat, or will be too stressed to spend money and not eat due to that. So it qualifies if you ask me

    The thighs touching/rubbing when you're walking or working out is such a big thing!!! I noticed that too and its made me so happy although its such a strange feeling when you're not used to it lol. You look amazing girl, loved this video!! ❤

    • @alan30189
      @alan30189 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Just go for good, firm thighs and calves that are proportional to your body. The goal should not be for your thighs to rub. That’s probably too much, IMO. I guess it depends on your leg and hip structure.
      Also, can you explain to me why women like such a massive, unnatural looking, bubble butt, that it consumes the look of your body? Then you have to go out and buy a whole new wardrobe. Concentrate a little bit on your shoulders and chest.
      One of the best things for your legs is cycling. I’m not talking about a stationary bike in a gym. Get out on a real bicycle on a real road, or trail and ride 20, or 30, or 40 miles at a time. Your legs will look fantastic!

    • @paige_judah5538
      @paige_judah5538 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@alan30189 That's exactly my goal when I work out, tone my thighs, calfs, and focus more on my chest/arms, thighs rubbing is not a goal, especially, if you're trying to be fit. I was just thinking about adding cycling to my workouts.

    • @usernameisunavailable8270
      @usernameisunavailable8270 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      My thighs rub together but that is just because all my fat goes straight to my thighs mainly and my thighs are fat and jiggly. I gotta do more squats lol.

    • @tayabethany222
      @tayabethany222 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@alan30189 I guess that I’ve grown up with the idea “thick thighs” romanticised around me, the media and wherever I look so naturally I’ve grown with that idea and grown to aspire and love it as well as genetically my lower body is bigger than my upper even before gym. I do however train both push and pull days, I love training shoulders and back especially, not so much chest but maybe I’ll change my mind. I guess the “bubble butt” comes down to personal preference, i personally love having a bigger lower body, (hamstrings, quads and glutes) but with visible muscle in my legs… and definitely not “unnatural” looking, it fits my body well. As for cycling I don’t like it very much and I can never seem to stay ON the bike as opposed to on the floor haha. The thighs rubbing was never an intended goal but just something I noticed because they’ve grown :)

    • @alan30189
      @alan30189 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@tayabethany222 That’s cool. You’re beautiful. I was just giving my preference. Kim Kardashian looked great and then something happened to her back-end. Some people say she got implants. I don’t know if that’s true, but it’s not natural or attractive to me. Nice and round is great, which is the goal of many women, but some go way overboard and are way too big.
      Funny stuff about not being able to stay on a regular bike. 😂🤣 Practice makes perfect, though. Keep trying and wear a helmet. I like to get out in the country on my bike and hit some rolling hills. It’s kind of like natural HIIT training. You’re forced to pedal up that tough hill and it really gets your heart pumping. It’s also nice to be out in the fresh air.
      Maybe you could try to ride “rail trails,” if you have them in your area, which in the US, are old, abandoned railroad right-of-ways that were shut down and then turned into bike and running paths. They don’t really have “rolling hills,” as railroads try to design the route to be no more than a 5% grade. Maybe that would be good to start out on. Cycling is good for the glutes, also, and phenomenal for your legs, as long as you go long distances of 15 to 20 miles, or more. 😃
      Good luck in Germany!
      Cheers!

    I've been working out for almost ten years. I managed to get pretty far in leanness and upper body build but never could get my legs on par. Tried to get help from some gym bros but they told me to do the same shit I've been doing. So I hired a female trainer at the gym with an impressive symmetrical lower body (unlike what a lot of other girls go for in the gym) to help me. She helped me with some exercises you really only see girls going at the gym and also helped me not lift like a complete douce anymore (ego lifting with lots of momentum and limited range of motion, i.e. gym bro style) on top of it. Filled out my legs quite nicely.

Now curvy/ ethnic features are considered a standard of beauty . even the kardashians and many celebs got plastic surgery to make their lips and hips look more like a black/latina woman (basically decendants of west africa)

    I can understand if someone is under weight to have a goal of gaining weight and that's totally awesome when done in a healthy way. 🙌
    8 year ago I weighed 165/170lbs and I'm 5'4"... I didn't have a thigh gap then and now I'm 195lbs, definitely don't have a thigh gap now. Lol!
    What I don't understand why someone would want their thighs to touch (muscles or fat) because it's not cool. My thighs chafe, and sometimes get little friction bumps on my inner thighs. Certain undergarments feel like they are cutting into my inguinal space bc my inner thighs are bigger. Years ago when I was 165lbs, if I wore sweat pants to jog I could hear my inner thighs "clapping" and cheering me on. 😄 It was actually pretty funny and embarrassing when I realized what the noise was. 🤦‍♀️😆
    Do what is right for you. Don't follow trends. Everything in moderation.

    So delicious! The pasta looks so good. I just made homemade pesto pasta yesterday. I like adding a TON of spinach for sneaky veggies, never thought of broccoli! Although I don’t think my mixer is strong enough for that 😂

      I cooked the broccoli first so it wasn’t super hard! Spinach with pesto sounds even better tbh!! Have to give it a try🤤

    Hi Sophie, I tried your macro calculator on your website and I saw that I need to eat at least 130-40 grams of protein and I actually have a lot of problem to eat enough protein I don’t know what to do, so you have a video or an advice for people like me who are not capable of eating enough protein ?

      Get a Protein powder and make it a shake. Add greek yogurt for extra protein. You can also add peanut butter. If you are cutting though, peanut butter may be high in calories so you can use peanut powder instead. It's great for extra protein with less calories. Protein bars are good as well.

    Good luck on your gainz!! I've been trying to gain weight for about 25 years, and recently changed my diet to eating mainly chicken, salmon, tuna, variety of green vegetables. I've also added beef to diet, and consuming it at least twice a month at small portions. Since I work out later in the evening, it means my dinner is eating about an hour and half before I go to bed. I also added more reps to my exercises (30-40 Reps/4 sets) for more blood flow into my muscles, and I do this at least once every two weeks.
