Thanks Bill! I’m about to replace the screen in my door. Funny story I had to take the handle off to get the guard off and locked myself out of the house when the rod came out 😂 thankfully I watched Mcgyver as a child and the stake from a solar light opened it right back up!
    Great videos, well explained!

Excellent video, Bill. I will be making my own flyscreen and homemade sill sections (!!) very soon. I changed the mesh on my flyscreen door and it was a nightmare. Being a total beginner DIY-er, I used the stronger aluminium mesh, not fibreglass as per your video. Warning to all!! This seemed industrial and I had to exert great pressure on the roller to apply it. Too rigid. Ended up with a puncture, threw my hands in the air, said many choice words and went back to the big B to swap with fibreglass. They actually gave me a refund. Bill, would be great if you could please explain the pros, cons and uses of each type of mesh in any future videos. Thanks.

Thank for your good video. My problem is how to remove the amplimesh security screen from the window frame. I have removed the two screws at the top but I am unable to lift the screen up and free from the bottom track. There at two black plastic extrusion wedges on the LH side that have taken up the lateral slack between the screen and the window frame and these are making it impossible for me to lift the screen up and out of its track. Can you advise me please?

Hi bill, loving your videos and your helpful tips on jobs around the house. I've got a bathroom sink where the plug is one of those push down and pop up ones, not the ones where you have the plug completely separate. Anyway when you push down on it to stop the water from going down, it doesn't lock. It stays down and I have to unscrew the plug and use pliers to get the centre bit back up to normal open state. Do you have any ideas on how to fix this. I've tried spraying WD40 but that hasn't helped.
