- Our Coolroom dreams are coming true, after struggling with feast or famine from our vegetable harvests we have decided on our Coolroom. The frame size is 2400 x 2400 x 2400 (13.8 mts3). This will keep our produce cool and prevent from going to waste. This is only stage 1 with the frame as we will need to look into the cooling, drainage, lighting, power source, air purge pressure and shelving. Busy times at FCFT.

Great project mate looking forward to see how it would go on a solar setup.
Deanno - cheers. The solar will be interesting but will work fine on paper.. I'm working on a restoration of Donaldson Tippet 1956 single cylinder engine lighting plant which will charge the batteries when overcast. Heaps going on. Cheers
@@FatCowFarmTatong that sounds awesome mate best of luck with it!!!!
Another great video.
Love what you’re doing around the farm & learning lots from your content.
We’re on a very similar journey.
I just got my panels delivered for a same same but different cool room & butcher shop.
Will be doing a similar project in the next month or so. 🍻
Hey Stoney Creek, sounds fantastic what are your thoughts on cooling the room?
@@FatCowFarmTatong Howdy. I like your idea of running it on solar & will definitely look into that option but for starters I’m just going to run it on mains power. I’ve got a bunch of animals to process in the coming months & need it up & running.
Have a good day.

@@ourstoneycreekjourney5702 Hey Rob, I would be keen see the build are you going to post on your channel? Especially. the cooling side of things.
Looks great mate... I'm wondering if you used a second piece of Perspex in the window and, sealed it in like a double-glazed system, if that would solve your problem of the cold escaping.
Hey Les, stop on again. I'll double perspex glaze that window which. will also aid in light and really didn't want to close that window out. Thanks mate much appreciated as always.
I love your videos. your doing a great job on the farm but I also have to double my sound volume, maybe to far from the camera or the remote mike is not working to good
A remote mic is on our list when we are in the big smoke. Stay tuned.
