Green Manure Season Change With Chickens.

Our green manure needs to broken down and returned back into the soil. Using the chickens to do this is just fantastic, they break down the stems, eat the bugs and while scratching around return it to the soil. We do loose some percentage of foliage as they love the green leaves. But who counting. The seasons have change and are preparing another vegetable bay for summer with the seeding of our winter mix, the cycles continue.
