Keep it up, if you want to talk about gamedev in general or need some advice then HMU on Twitter :) maybe i canbe helpful, being in this field for more than 5y now ^^
@@Simon3D oh shit, yeah I might just, I've been struggling with motivating myself lately though, so don't hold your breath😂 actually though, this is fantastic work, I am gonna have to follow u
Why so much speed i can't follow your video also if your putting it's screenshot please upload it on drive because twitter doesn't provide good quality
Can u make a tutorial about an automatic sword trail but without animating the trail. Cause I tried to make it, but I couldn't make it because am bad at shading, I am really bad at shading!
bro but how do you get the ideas .. like what makes you know that combining this texture with that and then multiplying it by that texture will create this effect, are you just spending your time playing around with all that you got or there is a specific approach to it ?? even if i understood what you did after 2 to 3 weeks if i tried to do it again i cant
Well its exactly as you said. Its just the time spent experimenting and trying to create various things, but lots of those are just "happy accidents" and after some practice time you start to understand more or less what nodes to use for certain effect ^^
Love your work. Thanks for making these guides!
I put all the nodes together, but for some reason it doesn't work
i am having the same issue
dude, as a game development student I am beyond amazed! like you deserve every like on the planet, keep this up, you've inspired me!

Awesome tutorial, i didnt even know that’s what the refraction shader even did. Gonna try to incorporate that into npr shaders now.
Is there some way this could be made to loop seamlessly and then baked/exported as a series of images? (For use as a flipbook texture in an old game)
Wow this is great, lol. Now I know how to make use of the refraction node
This Node Setup looks like the drawing of mine when I was 3 years old. Great Video also Good job!
excellent, i was also looking into heat distortion for landscapes so well done
Maan Awesome tutorial, not just for the usefull content🧐, but its funny as heel! 😂
Nice work bro make tutorials on anime skies
This chanel is underated man
Awesome video!
This is very beautiful!!. I was wondering if you can make a tutorial on anime auras.

genius
Thank me personally. 😈
Better to make fire than get FIREd hehehehe
what supposed i watch this video you said gonna made fire only i see speed talking without see what you do
yeah fr why not go thru it slowly
how do i used this with a different size plane, do i have to do this everytime?
I'm trying to recreate this myself but it's very fast pace and you don't really show a lot of your process
Excellent. Does it work well with Cycles?
hi can i do this in unreal too?
does anyone know how to export a project like this and use it in Unity? Thanks
on the completed view at the end do a bunch of the nodes just go nowhere?
sometimes i have couple of variations that i switch back and forth. maybe that's what you mean?
@Simon3D thanks for the reply. On the part at the end, the map range nodes in the distorition frames seem to have no outputs
@@Simon3DI wasted my preparation leave of exams just to make your shitty fire.
I hope your pillow is burning hot on both sides@@Simon3D
I love your work but I don't know why you speed up to the speed of light :C
Du bist der Beste.
Where is the linear light node? I cant find it
It's in the mix node
@MEPHMID117 yeah I figured it out soon after I posted that comment. Made the fire for a project, it looked so great

Check out the addon "mesh trails" maybe that's exactly what you need
@@Simon3D that's exactly what I was looking for👌, thanks for help 👍
🔥🔥🧑🚒🚒
Bruh, I just copied all the nodes and it doesnt look anything like that. You have nodes that arent connected to anything??
hey i got the same issue, have u resolved urs?
@bento_th wounded, I'm sure it's done on purpose so people just end up buying his node setup 😆
@@bento_th ermm kinda, I ended up just playing around with it till I found something semi decent
please less memes and more overview to follow what are you constructing. at some few points i lost you and start from beginning. pls. thank you sir

you don't even take time to explain the "driver" to animate the fire...
This is a very nice fire, but without a view of all the nodes, this tutorial is too complicated. Also the silly inserts are irritating.
