Can't wait to see what you create! (and as you probably guessed, that's Blender 4.2 not 2.4 lol I don't know how to talk.)
Are you planning to make more tutorials
Lately what I do, I try to find people who posted Blender files with animation, then render on my machine in 4K 3D stereo to watch it on my Meta Quest 3. Most of them look great. I might try this one to, just not sure how to make it longer and put camera somewhere close to it so when watching, feeling like in the middle of tornado.
@@smallhat1 For sure!
@@CGGeek the good old days are back and boredom will finally be gone
Haha 2.4, 2.79 for life
The only bad thing is...I could like only once.
Good to have you back Steve ! 😁❤
I admit it's been awhile since i've been playing around with Blender and learning new things.
Your tutorials are great for that kinda thing and i for one am grateful though i may not say it enough.
So let me be the first to comment with an 'Official Thank You' for all the time you put into these.
This tut is SO nice! Thanks again for another wonderful tutorial. Great work, well done. A big ciao from Italy and LONG LIFE TO BLENDER and to the blender community and blender masters as you are
Thank you! Cheers!
I'm so happy about the tutorials🤞🤞☺️
Less gooo I miss the tutorials
Always right here to click when and watch it when you upload something Sensei!!
I will be the first critical voice in the comment section. It seems on the render that this tornado is not quite spinning. Not much dynamic range, but great that you're back on TH-cam!
You could crank that up with more speed on the Vortex Force Field, but realistically large scale tornados don't look like they're spinning too fast from reference video.
@@CGGeekAre tornados in fire in your reference video's ? 🤣
@@luetmarin132 they are real and can be seen after a nuclear explosion so maybe
FireNado. In theatres now! lol
Lol
The long-awaited "spin-off" of Sharknado...
@@skeleton_craftGaming lol I hope the film studio saw that.
LOL THATS FUNNY!
Ah, we love you man, welcome back.
Lesss goooo 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉My Boi cggg back with his simulation
Awesome stuff!!
excellent as always :O)
You are the best of the best 😊
what a timing! I was about to make something like this
had to restart the project, now I can do this :)
very very cool tutorial! I would love to see a tutorial how to make big curling waves ( for example if you want to make a cool surf scenes)
Nice result! I would only recommend, instead of having people to remember how the names of the attributes need to be, use the Volume Info node. It provides outputs for those attributes and more. The other thing is, when talking about the Max Bounces, your Transparent bounces are at 8. I would highly recommend using a much higher value like 32 or even better 64, it does not really increase the render time very much but it avoids getting black artifacts in the smoke. I don't see them in your example, but it can happen especially when you increase the smoke resolution. I've seen smoke tutorials with people claiming this to be Blender's fault by unfortunately having a buggy Adaptive Domain behaviour, but it's actually the fault of people always lowering bounce values for gaining render speed.
AWESOME ❤❤❤
Tutorials are back ❌
Sponsorship is back ✅
Made the original 'nader way back when and definitely want to give this one a shot.
Oh yeah, Finally again for the new blender ver 4.
OH MY GOD ITS BEEN SOOOOOO LONG
high quality results, high chances of laptop dying
do the old tornado tut. your laptop will die even harder
Amazing 😮
1:20 what a beauty
Thatr new movie "Twisters " has fire tornado, will be interesting to see their results
bro doing this in tutorial in monster pc while me and my cute macbook air m1 laughing
😂😂❤❤❤
Yay!! Fun with friends!
Wait, wait, Blender 2.4?!?!
Good!
Hey! You should make a short medieval film with a huge battle, but live action and do all the vfx with blender!!
Long time no see bro ❤
CG Geek is better than AI 😁
wish I had one
how do you composite the simulation with the background in the final video? it looks really good 👍
my laptop shut down because it's too hot while I'm only watching this video
Miss you dost
Hey, long time no see👋
1:46 2.4 ofc....You're not the only one who said that...My brain can't update the "2." something and stuck with it T-T
Hello, I'm a beginner to Blender and was wondering how you have such good graphics while using Blender. My computer freezes up easily when I'm using Blender. and I was wondering if you bought a graphics processing unit for your computer?
From 8:01 it looks like “CG matter” tutorial nodes tutorial.
This guy made a tornado in blender 2.4 and i am struggling here to create a simple fire in blender 4.0😮
hi cg i was doing fine on your tut until it came to doing the texure i did all the steps but nothing was showing in the rendered view im on the latest blender 4.1
01:47 why you didn't used latest version of 4.0 blender?
I said Blender 2.4? lol switch that to 4.2
@@CGGeek lol I started playing the video, got to that part, got confused, paused the video, checked the publish date and thought "Why is CG Geek using Blender 2.4 in 2024!?!?" 😅😅
Good video. But tornadoes sucks from ground up in the sky…😀
we want vfx tutorials please
The video is great, but how do I get it from there to a good rendered scene?
only thing i wish is that the tornado didn't lack all of the spinning in the final render but great video nonetheless.
I gave mine a little spin by keyframing the rotation of the emitter sphere that worked for me. What I am trying to figure out now is getting fire to be at the bottom of the funnel...
Do you need all of those computers you get from sponsors because I would give anything to get my hands on them as my potato laptop becomes a microwave rendering simple scenes
Please can you please post it tonardo on green screen or blue screen so that I can be able to use it.
Can you make a new tutorial on how to make a car in Blender?
Man I try and follow step by step, still i do not get blender to emit anything in the domain just a small little fire blob. Do you use any plugins?
Did Blender get an update?
Why aren't there any fire sharks in your fire tornado?
I did cr8 this using geo nodes, bcoz simulation kills small pc
I get the particle system to work but I cant get any gas or fire :( blender 4.1
3:06 i don't found inflow here flow option shows
He didn't delete the cube, so unsatisfying
You need to add rotation to the noise. Otherwise it stands still and looks stupid.
how would u do that? I'm new to blender
@@kurokishizx add animated value to horizontal coordinate of the noise
I'm using blender 4.1 and this simply does not work. At around 6:41 you connect the math node to the volume scatter nodes and then you're able to see the volume in the cube. For me, it stays the same as it was before. I had to start the tutorial over to make sure I didn't miss anything and I don't think I did. Also, Blender 4.2 is not available for download on their site, at least as of right now.
I need help
meu pc travou 😔😔😔
Blender 2.4...dammit.
Haha, like I said in the pinned comment -I was supposed to say Blender 4.2
@@CGGeek I know ;) Just couldn't help my self.
I tried to do this but my 6 year old laptop said hell nah
Thanks for the effort but the results aren't great to be honest.
How make this in blender?
th-cam.com/video/p2IBnSjubk0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=taPnCh685rvT8CK8
Naaaa delete that cube and take the new one
Should have... who wants a used cube?
@@CGGeek but it's so much cheaper to get used cubes instead of fresh new ones sure it might be a delicacy to hvae a new on ebut in this economy it's damn near impossible
sponsoring asus at the wrong time there service is BS
i swear yall talk after doing the tutorial and it makes it so annoying to follow since you go faster than you talk
good tut tho, my laptop could not run it for shit lol its good for random shit but not blender fk amd
nah wtf you have to be zooming in on purpose do you get more engagement from rewinds shits evil
ur not a fan of zooming in while changing values etc on nodes? It should make it easier to follow especially on mobile devices
@@CGGeek need like a 5 second lul before you move on, ideally explain the why rather than just plugin values, you quiickly zoom out and switch over it gets confusing looking back and forth on laptop. Its probably easy for ppl who know what you're sayign but as someone who has to figure out where you're clicking and why its hard to follow. Like some parts where i knew what you were talking about were easier to follow since i didn't have to look over to find what the node is called or where to grab it. (so i dont grab the wrong kind with a similar name.) Overall useful tut, really frustrating to follow took like an hour of rewinding. Would've prefered a slightly longer vid.
bro you didnt work on your appearance. AI SHITS ALLL OVER THIS CHANNEL
hi cg i was doing fine on your tut until it came to doing the texure i did all the steps but nothing was showing in the rendered view im on the latest blender 4.1
