2022 Ford E-Transit nearly one year review... I had a couple people post on my original review, which was made within hours of receiving one of the first E-Transits.
Heated seat pad works well. only $40 and it uses the 12 volt plug so doesn't use hardly any power. I got one immediately when I got mine as there was no heated seat options
if you have not gotten the recall update for the defrosters that might fix your heat issue. I found on mine that it was heating really hot when set to 60 and the update fixed that for me.
Did you mean august 2022 was when you ordered the van they are building now in December? I ordered one in April and still have no build date. The wait sucks I’m also in Charlotte. It’s funny watching you drive around and recognizing the area.
@@michaelsciame7598 haha, yeah, I think I mixed up the dates. I ordered the first one in October or November 2021, it arrived March 2022, I ordered the second one in August 2022, and then that one built December 2022, I should receive it January 2023. I was definitely mixing up the dates. Then I ordered another one just two weeks after I ordered my second , I think that was in September, and that one doesn't even have a build date yet.
@@mitchelld1432 Dude look at all the space above the battery! There's like an 8 inch airgap between the floor and the battery. There's plenty of room for a bigger battery!
Your infotainment screen just like goes blank, and then reboots? I need to bring this in for that, but it hasn't happened in six months, or at least my guys haven't mentioned it.
@@mitchelld1432 Thanks, I looked closer and saw the battery icon. For some reason I thought it was dual. Would be nice if ford made it into a hybrid but that's my wishful thinking :)
As a plumber I almost purchased one, the range on these things should be at least 200, 300 miles if my business is going to rely on it to get from point A to point B. I loved it it drove like a dream but the range is going to hurt me and my company

We like ours so far 👍

Good to know. We will have to bring it to the dealer at some point. Just haven't had time lately
Did you reorder with the full swing out doors this time? I can’t wait to receive mine this month.
No. The 180° doors is long wheelbase only.
I took delivery of mine this week, I do HVAC too. Why do you drive it in L?
More regen. Less wear on brakes, longer range.
I don’t understand why Ford did not offer the extended range battery in them. I do a minimum of 150 miles a day caching service calls.
Would not have fit.

@@Magicinstallscar is heavy already it would pass 3 tonns
I had to rotate my tires after 8000 miles to get full wear out of them. My screen shuts down from time to time also.

I see electric gauge and fuel gauge. Can you just use gasoline in the winter and turn off the electric system? How does the duel fuel work?
It's only electric.

Slap a diesel heater in it. It’ll keep you warm and keep your range up in the cold
