These E transit videos are great. No one else on TH-cam is making them and the officials videos are junk. Looks like you’ve been driving it for at least a month so you should give an update on the van, your overall opinion on the van, what range you are really getting, and maybe how you have your charger setup. I’m a property manager and would really like to switch to an EV, but a little hesitant. I’ve been watching my personal driving and I seldom drive more then 50-60 miles a day tops. Pretty much just around town doing maintenance and showings. I have a Chevy Express cargo van, I spent $110 on gas last week, it’s super uncomfortable, and I just hit 200,000 miles, so I’m thinking it’s about time for a change.
Man that van is sweet. I live in the northeast and i do refrigeration as well as heating and cooling. Commercial and residential. My gmc 2500 is getting tight. I need one of these.
Would recommend adding a job box to replace the weather guard stuff, ive got the Rigid 32 and i love it. Good vault for my power tools and expensive testers, have it bolted to the truck with heavy 3/8 chain.
Lol, nice layout but now you will have to add 2 cans of 32, 2cans of 454, 2 new reclaim canisters that must sit up right on the floor and don't forget the giant type B fire extinguisher you will now be required to carry. Good luck and best wishes.
I have a f250 with a utility bed. Wouldn't ever want to go back to a van again. Im in heavy commercial, so i really just use my truck for my tools. I like the color of the van, and your setup is nice.

I do HVAC and refrigeration and I have twice parts/equipment to carry on board. Thus, for me having a shelve on the passenger’s side is not an option, but absolute necessity:). I would be very interested to see your video about how the van did at cold weather.
Depends what you mean by cold. Here, it's not usually that cold, but we have seen range drop to probably like 80 mi if it's under 30°... Not sure what it would look like if it was much colder, but probably really bad.
Nice Setup. I like those deep sliding drawers. Im probably going to regret not getting the mid roof but i do a lot of commercial and a low roof is easier for ladder racks.
Not sure the differences between your Ranger headache rack and the poly/plastic made by Adrian Steel. But having the noise dampening of the Adrian Steel is great in my Express van. I’d rather lose some cargo space in lieu of the noise from out back. Also, what brand garden hoses do you use?
Have you done any checking to see how much, if any, you actually save with electric vs gas van? I’ve seen some numbers released recently that completely took away any thoughts I had of getting an EV.
I never thought of that. I think a 2" pipe might work just to hold sticks of 3/4" PVC and sticks of drive and S lock. I may give that a shot. I haven't bottomed out ever.
Nice set up short wheel base is the way to go. If you ever did need a lot of room to carry something a tow hitch and a trailer will take care of that oddball time that you might need to carry three condensers and air handler‘s all at one time to one job and then disconnect it and you’re back to a small vehicle again.

I really should... But it's 90°+ and I'm working my butt off. We've put 5,000 miles on it so far.

It's super roomy, but I have mostly been moving to the E-Transits. I ordered two more like in my other video.

I am at Memphis. Sometimes we have 3-4 days below 30F like it’s today…

Fyi on the 148” wheel base you can fit a 10ft pipe no problem and up to 12-5 pole diagonal

I just screw them to the box and use them for storage of coil cleaners and such things.

Those are Zero G. Lowe's sells them. They're ok. I've had some burst.
