    I love how Apple fanboys complain that Note 4 has "too many features". Well how about that 17 hour of on screen time? Is that too big of a battery too? Is that "gimmicky" too? Good talk.

      Battery life varies, I've heard reviews say iphone out performed it in there test with iphone 6, Galaxy note 5, and note 4 all having similar battery life.

      That's the problem with fanboys, I mean, fanchildren, they just have to go online and argue about how their's is so much better and call everyone who doesn't agree with them names. Xbox vs PS, Apple vs Android, Chevy vs Ford, etc.

    People are calling Note 4 features 'gimmicks'? By definition all features can be a gimmick. A finger print scanner can be a gimmick. Remember when 'NFC' was only on Androids and Apple users called it a gimmick or the size of the phone was a gimmick? Apple remembers lol. My Note 4 can do everything an iPhone can plus many many more! I love ir blaster. Yes, I can change channels/controls and other devices with my phone. Every 'gimmick' on my Note 4 I use, so I see my Note 4 as 'technology on overload'. Me personally, I would rather have too much than too little. Even with all those features on the Note 4 our battery is better and charges faster. Also, iPhone users are stuck with how many gb are on their phone while Note 4 users can upgrade our memory to 128gb. iPhone users have to upload pics to a cloud now they can get hacked and as a result, their boobs are on the internet lol. I haven't even mention the S Pen, yet. The S-Pen is a serial killer when it comes to other phones. Look, the iPhone is a good smartphone, however when I pay $800 for a phone I know I will get my money's worth. Some can't say that........

    The thing with these 2 is that they're BOTH awesome. If you want a phablet running iOS get the 6 Plus. If you want a stylus and Android get the Note 4. You can't go wrong with either. I personally went with the 6 Plus and have not been disappointed in the slightest.

      Kelvin Miller I love the comment. I was saying that all along. Not much of a change besides screen, camera optimizations and the build and chip. But if you don't care about any of that, then keep the iPhone 5s. Because you are not missing anything in particular. Apple has done this for years, playing it safe and not trying anything new. Note 4 over note 3. Build, better camera, ois, updated speaker, finger print scanner, fast charge, chip and the screen. Best screen on any smart phone this year with out killing the 3200mah battery.

      iFans claim their great Apple company innovates, but all they do is create gimmicks and market outdated hardware. 5.5" screen?? 1080P resolution?? 8MP camera?? Smart watch?? real innovative for 2010, LOL. Not to mention their garbage maps and bootleg chinese gorilla glass. Please don't reply by telling me how they invented smart phones or touch screens, because they didn't. I had an HTC MDA(touch screen, smart phone) years before iPhone was invented. Not dissing the iPhone, lord knows they have really optimized their iOS and do a hell of a job with their support and app store, but it is as much of a competition for the Note 4 as a Honda Civic is to a Porsche 911 turbo.

    • @JSLR4K
      @JSLR4K 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Erick Vargas True, but Apple was never about innovation. It's about getting it right. Apple didn't invent the smartphone; it saw what the compassion had to offer, and they choose what features people wanted. Ditto for the iPad. And the same thing will happen for the apple watch. Now, I'm not saying that the apple watch will be huge, but it will get more attention than the other smart watches. And 5.5 inch phones might have been a gimmick in 2011, but in just 3 short years phones became more capable than ever before, so it made sense to increase screen size to compensate the increase in capability. 1080p resolution is only noticeable if your phone is 5 inches or bigger, which is exactly what Apple did; 2k is only noticeable if your phone is 6 inches (from my experiences. I don't know about you, you might have robot eyes). 8MP cameras might be outdated, but Apple is keeping in in everything else like aperture, image sensors, pixel size, better ISPs, etc. Plus my iPhone is not my primary camera, I have a Canon.
      I can sum this up in one sentence: Samsung invents it, Apple perfects it.

    • @flmejikano
      @flmejikano 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Joseph Lo Re I can't say a bad thing about the iPhone. It is a good phone, my problem is the way it is marketed and how they lure people towards their brand. They got away from Google maps because they think they can do better, but google has been in the map game for a lot longer than most companies, they have pretty much re-invented the internet.
      I am no robot with super human eyes, but I do most of my online stuff and photo editing from my home PC, which is connected to my 70" TV. I also don't primarily shoot pictures with my phone(I have a Nikon full frame camera), but when I don't have it on me I like to see a good image if I need to edit it via my PC. My first DSLR was a fixed lens Minolta Dimage Z6 when it was released back in 2005. That camera's pictures with a 6MP sensor where great at the time and good by today's standards, but lets not kid ourselves, they are blown away by today's cell phone cameras.
      As for the screen size, its not that it was a gimmick, they just were not affordable or sought after. The HTC Shift(X9500) was a +$1200 smart phone. Heck, when I purchased my first smartphone(Nokia 3650) I paid close to $400, this was back in 2003 when everyone had the brick phones and nextel's walkie talkie(push to talk) was the thing.
      To quote you, yes, "I can sum this up in one sentence: Samsung invents it, Apple perfects it," but how far behind are they on "perfecting"?? Its more of a "Samsung and android makers sell products, Apple sells it's brand." A phone this size and price needs to have everything it can at the top of the line, it is a flagship for both companies, but the fact of it is the iPhone 6 plus is not suited to compete with the Note 4. Maybe when it picks up a stylus, multitasking, and similar screen resolution(in say... another 2-3 generations?? When they "perfect" it).

    Apple did the dumbest mistake entering into the phablet space. The 6 Plus is just a huge iPhone. It has no purpose, other than being hella big, a size equal to the Nexus 6. I laugh; it's outrageously big, if you've used it like me. Note 4 all the way because of all the features, that you Apple Fanboys say as gimmicks. The Galaxy line has gimmicks, but not the Note lineup.

    • @iPhoneHelper1999

      Yeah the Note 4 and Nexus 6 are the size of the iPhone, but they both have larger screens.

    • @blue4zero
      @blue4zero 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Well their dumb mistake cost Samsung 60% in profits which is just disgusting and shows that Samsung was just riding on the S3 hype from years ago. N4 is a "good" phone no doubt but not better than the iPhone 6 plus. While N4 has all these "features" and "specs" that don't help its cause iPhone has sheer performance in every aspect and it has a huge array of apps and software optimization to back it up.

      @AretusSmithJr 10 ปีที่แล้ว

      blue4zero I own both until you own an use both..Shut your mouth.... the problem with the Note 4 has nothing to do with Apple the problem is that there at a ton a Note 3 user and the note 4 isn't that much of a different to upgrade and iphone 6 plus doesn't even come close to Note 4.. Technically the Note 3 is better than the iphone 6 plus... 6 plus is just that a blown up iphone 6 there is no phone on the market like the Note series, Its in a class of its own.. A better comparison would be the Samsung Mega

  • @MisterJAG2
    @MisterJAG2 10 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I have the Note 4, the wife has the iPhone 6 plus. The 6 plus is buttery smooth, but honestly, that's about it. My Note 4 is just has buttery smooth, plus I can: swap out batteries, expand memory, multi-task, use the s-pen, customize any way I want to, use a bigger & better screen, take wide angled selfies and more then I can mention. There is no comparison, the iPhone 6 plus wouldn't exist if it wasn't for the Note series. And with all that being said, it's a better value. The 6 plus is way overpriced for its capability, or lack there of. It's a good phone, but the Note 4 is superb.

    Android/iOS person here
    Love or hate TouchWiz (you can get a custom launcher anyway), it does make the most out of big screen devices. iOS NOR Stock Android takes advantage of a bigger screen. Yes TouchWiz is bloated but it has 32GB standard and you can simply tun off the features you think are just gimmicks. Sometimes, more is better.

    Honestly, Apple fans should be thanking Samsung. Without Samsung and their Galaxy Note line, the iPhone 6 Plus would not exist. In fact, Apple would still be of the mentality that no phone should be larger than 3.5". You should expect that Apple's first go at the large smartphone/phablet market would not be perfect. The Galaxy Note line is now on it's 4th generation, so Samsung has this device formula down to a science... while Apple just made a really big iPhone.
    The Note 4 is an amazing device. If you say that the iPhone 6 Plus is better, you have never used a Note 4. I have used both devices quite a bit, and the Note 4 is the clear winner. It can do so much more than the 6 Plus, and it offers more VALUE (they're both the same price) than the 6 Plus too. Features + value is a tough combination to beat.
    Good luck next year Apple.

    Half the people on this forum never use the features on their phones. 9 times out of ten their on Facebook or Instagram. Don't tell me about features because you don't use them. Example: my co-worker has the note 3 and was trying to sell me on the things you can do with it. I gave him my wifi code to join the network. He was like ok let me take a picture of it. Now let me pull out the pen. Now let me......I said why not just type the wifi code that I gave you.

    "The Note 4 can do more than any phone on the market."
    You can't justify all those useless features on the Note. Sure, you get a device that can "do a crap load of things", but will you actually use them? I obviously don't own a Samsung phone, but I'm pretty sure 80% of the features in that interface aren't really usuable. "You can write notes with the stylus" - Yeah totally, I'm not gonna get my laptop or a textbook, lol, in class, but I'll write on my phone... And WRITE, not even type on that giant screen, makes sense. Ohh and don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on Android, I'm hating on Samsung. If I'm to pick an Android device I'll choose HTCs phones anyday over Samsungs. The fact that you put anything you can think of (talking about the so called features) in that buggy interface does not make the phone "The Best".
    Also I don't see what's all the BS about "split-screen functionality". Opening calendar on top of something sounds like the only useful thing you can do, and even that isn't something so mind-blowing. Sure, I'd like Apple to make more use of the big screen that's on the 6 Plus, but if they "just" add the app support for split-screen functionality I'll be really disappointed and I wouldn't even use it. But anyway, that's just me. I'm sure Samsung fanboys will tell me how they aren't all useless and only about 30% of them are. lol.

    There is no doubt that there are better phones that iphone, but people who use apple think that this product is the best when it is not. I am not against apple. I used to have an phone and didn't like it. I like android better than ios. People, I just suggest to stop being fans of products, and buy the one that works for you the best. As consumers, we are not doing any company a favor to make somebody to use their product. We are the ones paying for the product, These companies are not paying us to use their products.

    Iphone 6 Plus for me and Note 4 for the wife. Honestly we both just upgraded from the Galaxy S line and the Note is a bigger, faster version of the that... besides a gorgeous screen there's nothing to brag about. I needed a change and the 6 Plus is amazing and fits my needs. With the addition of Swype to Apple, I now have that Android feel with Apple... it's all about what you, the "end user" wants. My wife loves her Note because it's exactly the same from what she had before and she says "I don't have to relearn anything."

    After using android phones and tablets for years, I just couldn't deal with the delay and lag compared to IOS. Maybe my devices were just getting out dated and couldn't handle the latest apps ect. but that doesn't mean I should have to buy a new phone and tablet every year. Apple app store may not have an app for everything but the apps on there work and are normally high quality apps, as for the play store on android...
    I just got the Iphone 6+ because I wanted a bigger screen and after owning an Ipad 4 for nearly 2 years, the smoothness and speed compared to an android is amazing. Never crashes and I know if I want to do something on it, it will do it with no problem.. unlike my android devices where they would take for ever and suddenly do it all at once with no smoothness. I'm not a fan boy but apple for me is a lot smoother and does what I want to do, unlike my experience with android...

    The 1st Galaxy NOTE: www.samsung.com/global/microsite/galaxynote/mobile/index.html?type=find
    is already much better than the "stretch" iPhone 6 plus...
    Only iStupid & iMorons will choose the elongated iPhone 6 Plus than the GALAXY NOTE 4.
    I had the iPhone 6 plus for 14 days and returned it to Costco & got the "white GALAXY NOTE 4" and the difference is night & day.
    We love the GALAXY NOTE 4 - the screen, multitasking, s-pen (wacom digitizer), battery life, 128GB microsd card, easy to replace battery, etc........
    To make the long stort, GALAXY NOTE 4 is way better than the iPhone 6 Plus any day.
    Have a great day to y'all

    Have you totally lost it! instead of comparing Siri with s voice u r comparing it with Google voice something u can also have in ios and for the last time Google voice is not a virtual assistant! its just a faster way to google. iOS users can also download google maps and many other Google applications! Can android users download iOS apps like find my phone, find my friend, iMessage, FaceTime, iMovie, iPhoto, GarageBand, iTunes Store HELL NO! There is no reason to compare iOS maps with google maps cuz u can have both on iOS same is case with the Siri and Google voice and YOU FORGOT TO MENTION THAT IPHONE CAN RECORD SLOW MOTION VIDEO at 240 fps 720p HD something no android phone in this entire world can do

      Having just recently switched to android from iOS, I can say that yes, they do have all of those apps (in terms of functionality anyways as apple restricts their software to their lineups) but I haven't had issues finding apps to use. I do agree with you that the app store is slightly better than the google play store since it's more organized but the comparison was based on native functionality. While it's true that apple does have google now searching capabilities and google maps capabilities, you can never set them as your default applications because spotlight or apple maps will always be the default option. Android has google voice search accessibility from any screen instead of having to click into an app, same with maps just by telling it to give you directions somewhere. It also provides directions and commute updates to your job and home depending on the time of day. Overall, I feel that android has great functionality as well but everyone has their own personal preference.
