The only problem with this drop test which you didn't realise is when you side dripped it, the phone was not straight, it was dropped at the corner so you can't really say the corner has problems, it's kind of a systematic error
My brother has a Note three, it has gotten dropped, scraped, soda spilt on, thrown and No scratches no cracks, although he has the crappiest oldest case that Dosent hold the phone properly. He always says his phone is indestructible..

@Latricia M My dad dropped his Note3 in the water couple of years ago, and it's still working. He's just removed the back cover, the battery and let it dry for 2 days. My Note3 (4.5 years old) still looks almost like new (I hope, it will be working at least until the year 2024).

Been using the Note 3 naked since 2013, dropped it hundreds of times but still no cracks on the screen, just the side plastic got destroyed. Just ONE DROP with the Note 8 and it's done. So yeah, I'm back with the Note 3.

I flim my newer videos on my note 5 and my older videos were filmed on a Samsung galaxy on5. I see the difference between the two phones. The note 5 looks better with the ability to flim 1080p video and at 15 frames per second over 480p at 5 frames per second on the core prime with no low light camera. The note 5 has that which is pretty helpful. I have 64gb of storage over a standard 32gb which is good for videos and apps.

You could use the S Pen to use the Note 5. The S Pen works differently and it doesn't have to do with the touch screen.
