OMG everything you made here looks so yummy!! Other Chinese takeout items I'd love to see you create: potstickers with dipping sauce. Also, egg rolls or spring rolls. 😋💕👍
I’d just follow a potsticker recipe and use crumbled pressed tofu or tvp + cornstarch (I did the tofu + cornstarch method before and it was great). You can also buy vegan “pork” if that’s your thing!
Your timing couldn't be better! I recently tried a cashew tofu stir fry at our go-to takeout place, and now I'm obsessed. I agree, the cashews are SO GOOD in stir fry. Can't wait try your recipe, and I'll definitely make the king pao as well
I just made the orange "chicken" and OH MY ARE YOU KIDDING ME!?? This was so good! I left out the avocado oil and the tofu still came out nice and crispy. That orange sauce is so good, too! The perfect balance of spicy, sweet, and savory....delicious! I will definitely be making this again
I made the cashew recipe on Saturday and it was phenomenal! Make that again, my husband said! And today I'm starting the orange tofu! You are a wonderful recipe creator.
It would be cool to see a poke bowl with crispy tofu! The restaurant I order from makes this creamy peanut sauce to go on top of the poke bowl and it's so addictive.
Panda Express used to have eggplant tofu I had it once and could never find it again. If you could recreate something like that I’d be eternally grateful. All the dishes look great I’m torn on which one to try first! Thanks for an awesome video.
I'm using Orange tofu recipe today for my vegetarian Mom! I'm excited to have this orange tofu recipe with her! Lots of love and gratitude! Great recipes! I'm excited to try the rest in the future! Orange tofu rocks!🙏
This is exactly what I needed Caitlin, thank you! I've been running low on Asian-inspired ideas for dishes to serve my non-vegan family and I have never made (or ordered) any of these before, even in their original versions years ago! I often use this technique on tofu and only shake it with the cornstarch in a box - makes it so much easier :D . Anyways, sending you lots and lots of love! Have a wonderful week ahead!
The first time I watched this, I started rolling my eyes when she was breaking the tofu with her hands (I thought she was trying to be cool), but it does work. I'd say the crevices and irregular shapes and pores of the tofu help with ensuring the starch goes inside and sticks it more to the surface! Thanks so much! 🎉🎉😊😊😊
All of these recipes look delicious! I am definitely buying green onions soon, do you grow your own? I'd love to see a red curry ramen soup w. tofu recipe! My fav Thai restaurant closed and I've been very unsuccessful in recreating it!
THANK YOU, this is great! I have a bunch of tofu in my fridge, now I know what I'll be cooking. I've tried Sichuan pepper once and i absolutely loved it, will pop by me asian super market later!!
This made me smile 😊 5:54. I also love spicy food. Have a hard time handling it but I love it 😅 PS, I made the orange “chicken” later on and it turned out DELICIOUS 😋 Can’t wait to try the kung pao next!!
Yum! A few months ago I had some mushrooms that needed to be used soon or tossed and I found a Kung Pao Mushroom dish with peanuts tossed in at the end. It’s my go to takeout dish because for some reason I can never use my mushrooms up fast enough!! Gonna try making the cashew dish with mushrooms this time cuz I’m out of tofu and too lazy to run to the store. ❤️
Hi Caitlin! I was inspired by your orange tofu but never got to making it at the time you posted it. Recently, Sadia from Pick up Limes made a similar dish and was reinspired and cooked it today and it's so delicious and delightful! Thank you so much for the yummy recipe! It will definitely be a staple to the recipes that I make from now on 😊 I took a pic of it but unsure of how to upload it.
The frozen Yakisoba at Costco is vegan, with minimally processed ingredients, and tastes so good! We like to sauté it when we have Chinese food at home, and it tastes just like the lo mein you get at the restaurants
I can't wait to try the orange and cashew ones. I recently made your Tofu Parmesan and it was fantastic, is now one of my favorites. I just need to find a better melting vegan cheese, the one I had didn't melt very well. Love all of these tofu recipes, thank you.
I love your cookbook and use it almost daily. Are you going to print another one with these recipes? I love being able to have a book vs online or printed on computer paper. I love your channel!!!!
Hi Caitlin! I got all the ingredients to make kung pao tofu but unfortunately cannot find dried Asian chiles of any sort (they’re all Mexican which I’m assuming won’t provide the right flavor profile). Any good substitutes you can suggest? TY!
Hey! you might have answered this a million times before but I couldn't find it when looking at the website, but do you mean Chinese soy sauce or Japanese soy sauce when you say "soy sauce"? 🥰
I made the cashew tofu dish for a family gathering last week! It was a smashing success! One family member went back THREE times for more!
My life has just become better because of this video. I love asian inspired cuisine. Yum!!!
OMG everything you made here looks so yummy!! Other Chinese takeout items I'd love to see you create: potstickers with dipping sauce. Also, egg rolls or spring rolls. 😋💕👍
I like the frozen Chung's spring rolls. They're vegan & delicious. I'm lazy as hell so probably will never make my own.
I’d just follow a potsticker recipe and use crumbled pressed tofu or tvp + cornstarch (I did the tofu + cornstarch method before and it was great). You can also buy vegan “pork” if that’s your thing!
OMG tearing the tofu is SO MUCH BETTER!!! It looks exactly like meat this way, texture etc. My 7yo will LOVE THIS!!!!!

As a Thai, my fav meal before going vegan was the "cashew chicken" so thanks so much for this recipe😍 def trying it out soon!
Yum! 3 recipes for the price of 1!!! I need to try all of them! Thanks so much, Caitlin!
I made the cashew recipe on Saturday and it was phenomenal! Make that again, my husband said! And today I'm starting the orange tofu! You are a wonderful recipe creator.
Hi did you use avocado oil? Wondering if a different type of oil would be fine :)
@@rosiecunningham8268 No, I used olive oil. I've never used avocado oil. And the orange tofu was also superb!
I made the cashew tofu yesterday! It's so good! Can't wait to try the others; always love your recipes!
It would be cool to see a poke bowl with crispy tofu! The restaurant I order from makes this creamy peanut sauce to go on top of the poke bowl and it's so addictive.
Made it tonight and it was frocking awesome !!!! The second one thank you before making vegan easy and delicious!!!
Panda Express used to have eggplant tofu I had it once and could never find it again. If you could recreate something like that I’d be eternally grateful. All the dishes look great I’m torn on which one to try first! Thanks for an awesome video.

Anyways, sending you lots and lots of love!
Have a wonderful week ahead!
I made the cashew tofu this week and it was so good!!
1. I love the tearing up the tofu tip!
2. Is there a sub for the OJ? I don’t care for orange flavor.
3. Do you have a good tofu press recommendation?
The first time I watched this, I started rolling my eyes when she was breaking the tofu with her hands (I thought she was trying to be cool), but it does work. I'd say the crevices and irregular shapes and pores of the tofu help with ensuring the starch goes inside and sticks it more to the surface! Thanks so much! 🎉🎉😊😊😊
Everything looks so delicious! Would love to see your take on a japchae-inspired dish. Apologies if you already have one and I missed it!
I've been a little uncreative with my cooking and my tofu, but I want to try all of these. They look delish
I was just remembering orange chicken. And I’m SO glad and ready to try this orange tofu recipe.
Thank you so much these recipes are so simple and really going to try all of them!
Best recipes for these dishes that I’ve seen on TH-cam! Thank you!!
I cant WAIT to try these out! I'm a sucker for takeout and knowing I can make some myself is making my mouth water ♡♡♡
Hey Caitlin. Love your lil winged liner look. 😍 I always have difficulty recreating garlic eggplant, Ramen, and Thai curry recipes.
Brilliant presentation! I'm enjoying right now. Came out perfectly. Thanks!
This was the first tofu recipe where I actually enjoy the texture of the tofu! Thanks for sharing 😊
Thank you, i made the cashew “chicken” twice and it was delicious 😋.
Wishing I could like this video multiple times! Trying to eat less meat and these are great ways to still eat my favorites meat free.
I am just going to try the cashew one first, so I'll let you know when I make it and eat it. Thanks again
Would love a General Tso version!
I’m making the orange one now and Girl my kitchen is smellin gooood!

Love these recipes!! Thank you!!
This looks absolutely delicious 🤤
Used this template to make my own sauce! Approved by my omnivore brother :)
These all look super delicious 🤩
Can't wait to try these. Maybe you can make a veggie lo mein? All the restaurants use oyster sauce so a vegan version would be much appreciated!
I've seen others use mushroom sauce (which u can find in any asian shop) as a "vegetarian oyster sauce" substitute! Hope this helps
Wow this is a great receipe
Gotta try these recipes!

Drunken noodles would be amazing!
