When I'm putting in unsupported joists, I take a tiny drill, and then set a pin into the hole binding the joists and trusses together. Add in the glue, and some cladding, super stable.
Totally love that build Leif. That Devs and Dice aesthetic is always a dark and dirty delight, but I'm also struck by how much emphasis you put on playability. I think a lot of crafters miss that out. That sniper's nest is a lovely bit of detail. Looks so good with the minis on it.

I really like the attention to details: the graffiti, the posters, the blood, and the bits. Those things all really help it go from "yet another Mordheim ruin" to "ThAT IS TITALLY AWESOME!"

oooO a little tavern, lovely addition, I like the different layout and individual quirkiness.. of course, once you have one watering hole, those things are like fleas on a peasant .. just a matter of time till it has competition. Very enjoyable vid, oddly relaxing watching you do tiny timber work.

@@DevsDice Ohhhh.. an inn, perhaps with an arch into a stable yard, classic adventurers haunt when they reach town .. hrm .. so many possibilities. As for individual buildings, have you ever considered one of the market square buildings where the building itself is raised up on timbers and traders would sell underneath it, I find those fascinating and strange.

I honestly feel you are the best Modheim terrain builder on TH-cam. I love your videos and watching your process. If I had one request it would be to see what you could do with terrain for a different tabletop game.
Wow what a nice build! 😄 Love the concept of a smal tavern. Taking it one step further one could make skatter terrain outside, made out of the outdoor seating area like, tables stools and what not. 🤩
I loved this build, it was like a "best of" of your now signature solutions in crafting! The dark sea blue shingles, the posters, the graffiti, and the insane amount of coffe stir sticks (from which I have also bought about a thousand last time)! :)
