Figuring Out Paper Mario's Strongest Partner

- I'll go through every moveset of each of the seven partners in the Remake of
"Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door" to reveal everyones strenghts
and weaknesses, so we can uncover the best partner in the game! - เกม
Goombella's tattle buff to always be able to check the tattle logs make it much better than peekaboo now
This means you can always check fire/explosion immunities, attack, and defense for free in a given battle after you tattle the enemy once
Bobbery is op against shadow queen when using the 9fp ability because it easily removes the hands
Bobbery is the true goat
You get better and cheaper results with multi bounce, but it really doesn’t matter too much what you choose.
Flower savers can help
Or just use fiery jinx that’s what I did
@@twiastethats what i was gonna say
Also yes flurrie is nowhere near as bad as people say.
As you said most enemies are weak to gale force, even late game enemies.
I personally don't use lip lock too often but yeah it's pretty strong.
Kid yoshi is easily the most powerful.
He has a built in power bounce in his basic attack making him absolutely cracked with even the littlest damage increase.
He can shrink strong enemies with mini egg to prevent them from hurting mario too much.
And let's not forget stampede, wich targets everything on screen and is equally as broken as his base move when it comes to attack increases.
He truly is the MVP, especially with multibonk and power bounce both
being somewhat nerfed for the remake, yoshi's move is much more consistent
If you're skilled enough you can mix in danger mario
If I don't 100% a game, or if I don't want to, there can one or more of these following reasons.
-The 100% stuff only makes the experience worse
-The game is bad
-I am bad at the game.
That said, even with the tedious travel I will 100% this.
Most tedious stuff is for sure the completion of recipes and the trouble center, good luck!
It's hard to argue that ANYONE is better than Goombella for late-game. Rally is auto-best partner attack, especially with badges removing flower points needed. It's just giving Mario a second attack and he is defacto stronger than all partners.
Yoshi is definetly up there for being capable of dealing high damage to singluar or multiple enemies,
but agreed Mario is by far stronger than any partner for obvious reasons thus making rally wink auto
one of the best moves. Depending on the badge lineup you can make both work super efficiently.
@@Doomey. Gombella's multibonk can out damage yoshi's ground pound
@@maxwellh.4569 Indeed they are really equal, still I prefer Yoshi over Goombella as Yoshi's GP is FP free and guarantees for 6 hits, while Gombella can be either more or less hits especially with the 4th bonk being frame perfect now can be really rough
@@maxwellh.4569Yoshi's moves are free rally wink is not.
How much fp is each move gonna take if you got and equiped all the fp saver and fp saver p badges? (All the ones you can get naturally in the game)
Naturally you can obtain 2 fp savers for both mario and his partners, so all moves would decrease by 2 fp when equipping them all
yoshi is first? I have no idea how to use his ground pound, everytime I use it he bounces on the enemies like 4 times and nothing happens...
That's probably because his base damage is 1 so he will not harm any enemies
with defense, that's why I used Power Plus P Badges combined with other attack buffs. And then he will be able to destroy literally anything
??? What do you mean nothing happens actually
Use power lift and then try
He means that most enemies after Chapter 3 have at least one defense, making Ground Pound useless, since when he uses it, he technically attacks in four separate bounces, each counting as a seperate amount of damage done, and that separate amount for each of the four bounces is 1 damage, meaning that the enemy will be able to add their defense of 1 or more to each separate bounce, not all of them at once .because of this, the defense defends the enemy from one damage point of the seperate bounces, and since the bounces do 1 damage each, they after subtracting 1 from every single one of the bounces, the final output of damage is zero. Thank you for listening to my ted talk, HOLY HELL DID I MAKE THIS LONG.😂@@bluerious5475
Yoshi has low base damage, he's intended to be used on enemies without defense.
But badges that buff his attack power make him one of the best partners.
Underrated ahh
Much appreciated! ^^
We'll get there
@@Doomey. you will king
Hey that’s me in the beginning
Crazy, you're famous now!
Vivian low? Opinion discarded
Vivian only really got fiery jinx, coming in handy several times throughout the game.
Then there is shade fist too, but both can be replaced by several other partner moves, especially with ultra ranks
@@Doomey. Fiery Jinx can do fun stuff with Power Lift which is arguably the best Super Move, Goombella/Mowz are severely offensively limited
@@DarkKirby14LP Agreed, especially with power lift attacking multiple enemies is really worth and in Super Rank only she is easily a top tier partner, but with ultra rank there are better alternatives to use in my opinion. Well Ms. Mowz obviously is trash lol. For Goombella she is limited to just aim for one enemy at a time but rally wink pushes her further up as 2 mario moves are insane.
