Good video. I played one-length for a few years, really liked them, but switched back to regular irons, mainlky because I just wanted something new and shiny. Anyway, I missed them and picked up some aerojet OL irons this year. I was more consistent with the OL irons. Like you I really like the wedges, they are much easier on my back. I don't have gapping issues either. I think the biggest issue that people have in switching to OL, besides tradintionalism and preconceived notions, is that most people buy irons now based on indoor simulator sessions. I mean, they take some getting used to, you really can't tell anything in 20 minutes on a SIM. I'm glad I took the plunge.
The main reasons I like the wedges are: The xtra speed from the longer shafts is an advantage hitting out of the rough, when you need it. And, though I have no issue hitting them 'normal' distance, I can also easily hit them 10 yds farther, it's like having extra clubs in the bag really.

Hi M8, thx for your Video. Loved it so much. A few years ago I bought the Radspeed one length in regular steelshaft. I was struggeling a lot and stop playing.. 3 years later I wanna start again, but correct this time. Would you say it is a good idea to search a one length fitter? One of the reasons I stoped because of the length. Do you think it is possible to Play them with 36,5“ and not with 37,25“? 37,25“ feels Like 37,75“ because of the Arcoss System. So the Clubfitter could shorten the length or? I also think about to use die JumbaMax XL Grip, cause as a RH my left Hand is on top of the club grip. So i lose loft but i am straigth at the Moment of contact.. Maybe this Jumbo grips will help to be straight with out the left Hand on the top of the Club grip. Greetz from Germany
I dont play one length irons, but have that exact same one length 4 hybrid in my bag. The thing is an absolute weapon.

I understand you can buy one length irons sets typically from 5 to GW, but how do you buy the one length hybrids and 56-58 degree wedges to match the iron set? Or do you buy the normal length ones and then change out the shafts?

I love the idea of one length, but like you said, for the longer clubs. My wedges are the best part of my game, I’m not gunna mess with that.
I use standard length for 58-7i. After that I use single length hybrids for 6h-3h. I’ve really been liking this set up so far. Works well for my game and
I've been been playing Cobra's f7 one length since thay came out. Watching the U.S. Open yesterday, one of the commentators said the reason Bryson can hit his wedges so far is because they have longer shafts and stronger lofts. What crap ! Let that announcer hit Bryson's wedges and see how far he hits them.
I wish there were 3 length club sets. 1 length for long clubs, 1 length for mids, 1 length for wedges.

60-8 iron 1 ball back, 7 iron middle, 6 and 5 1 ball up

Not trying to nitpick, solid video, but those are not musclebacks. Those are distance irons - thin, flexible face and filled with an elastomer. Cobra does a great job of making them look great, however. I tried the 2022 Forged Tecs and loved the look, but the shaft that was in them was so kicky that I was launching everything way too damn high. Cheers! 👍🏻🙌🏻

No hate the forged tec are not muscle backs they are hollow body player irons. Cobra use to make one length muscle back irons but they stopped after Bryson left cobra.
What are muscle backs? As a high HC player should I track down/buy one of these old one lengths with “muscle backs”

@@KoolA1d muscle backs aka MB irons are just another name for a blade. back in the day they were just called MBs but now that we have super thick irons like game improvement irons they started calling MBs blades because of how thin they were. so no they are recommended for low handicaps
I don't know any 5 HCPs who suck at putting, that's what gets you down to 5 HCP usually - really solid putting and short game 😂
