I’ve only played golf three times. I played hockey my whole life. Some hockey players like a fatter grip and I had recently been asking pro shops about a fatter grip on a club and everybody’s been looking at me like I’m crazy. I feel validated now. Thanks dude ❤️
What I love about you Bryson is your "Aww gee" competitive attitude and your mindset which has bedeviled other conventional players. Keep it up! You are a breath of fresh air for the game of golf.
Playing currently with a 6 degree Driver! 🤯 That’s impressive!!!! Congrats to you for how you’ve grown through your career. Good for you B! Definitely enjoy watching you play, along with the TH-cam content you’ve been putting out. Your love for the game and enthusiasm is infectious. Love it! Stay classy!
You changed the game globally, absolute legend of golf, love your videos mate, good luck for next year mate, no doubt another major win will happen #uppagolfnerds 😂😂⛳️❤️
Great info Bryson, I hope you continue making more TH-cam content, even while playing on the Pga Tour. Most consider you the wizard and master of professional golf. I can only see you winning more titles and majors in the future if you stay consistent. We hope you can continue to film your journey so we can all be apart of your success. Keep up the hard work and content man. Its much appreciated.
Just subscribed after seeing you with Rick. Love the energy you bring to the videos. Can definitely see how much you love golf. Thanks for sharing some of your knowledge.
The low iron lofts appear to be a half club to full club strong from what my knowledge allows and able to deduce from his descriptions (unless things have dramatically changed for non-Bryson players, a 40 degree wedge would be more like an 8 iron or strong 9). I now better understand why he needed the new molding process for his current irons. You can only bend lofts so much before they give and snap. A whole new approach to production was a necessity, it appears. I would like to see Bryson challenge golfers who suggest, "I could hit his clubs," to try getting a ball anywhere near on target. Let alone off the ground for certain clubs. It would be an interesting video.
Ahh the Riverbend days! Played it 20 years ago, and I still call it Riverbend with the 559 locals, the newer guys in the area have no idea where we are talking about.
About time he becomes a Krank Golf affiliate. I have heard and seen these drivers 2 years ago when I was in a July 4th scramble and it was with 18 long drive hitters on each team and 70% of them use Krank heads only. Cool to see this
I really just want to try one length long irons.. love my mizuno irons from 7-PW but since I went with a less forgiving set the long irons are a struggle especially since I’m not the tallest guy
T6 Masters, Runner up by one stroke in the PGA, then epic victory for his 2nd Major title in the US Open! Can't wait to see you compete in the Open Championship!!!
Dude, I have a man crush! I love this dude. He is the reason why I changed to single length. Ever since I read about him and his story on single length. I said this dude will be the next craze in golf! It is crazy how he was able to convert pings to single length. I guess when your a pro company will do what you need. Haha. I love how he is shows is everything he knows. He really seem like an awesome dude to hang with. He doesn’t seem like an asshole. lol 😅. You know when someone is an asshole. Can’t hide asshole and dickwads personality.
Lmao your swing speed is 130+ NOT with ball speed over 200...c'mon buddy 97% of pro golfers can't reach these numbers...unless your on the long drive tour I'll eat my words
What’s the point of cranking down the loft on a 5 iron let’s say to 17 degrees when you can just get a stock 2 iron that’s 18? The lofts, length, grips etc are the same. I can only imagine the lie angle may change. Just seems strange to me, but then again, I’m not a good golfer 😂
There is always talk that one length clubs are only possible IF there are certain tweaks carried out to make them work (ie: you can't just put any head into a 7i shaft and expect your gapping to work). One length specialists (Edel and Cobra) seem to have cornered the market for SLC. How are you able to make the Ping heads work on the single shaft length? Is it because of your swing speed?
There’s no chance his driver shaft is the same as his irons. He’d be swinging a youth driver if that were the case. There’s like a 10” difference in shaft length between a driver and iron
Have you tried all the different jumbomax grips? The JMX grip I tried started to wear away in less than a year. Do you replace your grips often? Do you use the ultralight or the tour series?
I have a question for a while now. Back then people could buy a SIK armlock putter just like yours but is it gonna be possible in the future with LA GOLF to buy armlock (not necessarily your spec) but just a customizable armlock like SIK was offering back then. Btw I love the content and your performance keep it up champ 💪💪
La Golf released their armlock this week. They're for sale on their website in the blade and mallet version with the lagp p-180 shaft and a lagp/jmx grip
Very Kool Man! I cannot believe ur irons are that strong. Holyshit. Ur pitching wedge is like a 7or 8 iron and ur 5iron is a 2iron. Ur 5wood is stronger then my 3+wood. 😆 and ur Drivers are absolutely insane degrees. Very impressive. My question is can u hit regular length long irons ? Or let's say half inch long 4iron ? Or u can only hit 7iron length clubs? If that's what they are?
If I made my living with a set of custom tools I would be so paranoid traveling around the world with them. Especially putting them in the hands of the airlines. Do you fly private internationally?
@@fhartse makes sense. I was thinking more in general as a golf pro how do they handle potential loss of equipment. I heard a story about a guy had to buy a change of clothes from the pro shop because his suitcase got lost but I didn’t hear about his clubs.
I wonder if loft differences are bc of one length? Or just a Bryson preference? My i230 PW loft is 45 and not 40! But I’ve never shot 58… or 78 for that matter! 😂
So you have to think of it as a rpm club instead of a club number and loft. Your 7i is probably around 32 or something and spins at 7000 rpms. His 7i is like 23 or something and spins at 7000 rpms. He has so much swing speed, he spins the ball way more than average so he has to run lower lofts to get the spin rates where they're supposed to be. So it's not exactly comparing a iron number to a loft. It's getting the rpm to match the number via loft change.
he has said before that on a normal sized grip his fingers wrap around and hit his palm causing a looser hold on the shaft. with the larger grip his palm and fingers aren’t interfering with each other and he can have a tighter grip and more control over the club. more surface area allows for more control. hope this helps
😂 R.I.P Cobra, their company's done now. It just shows how bad their stuff was. He switches over and he's the best golfer now that really bad for cobra 😅 way to go Bryson
when i grew up, ping irons were also for high handicap golfers...no real player would be caught dead with them...hahahaha. these were all clubs your grandfather played because he was too old to get the most out of his professional clubs, or the weekend golfer played them because they helped hide his shitty shots...and since he didn't have the skill to make golf shots like a pro, where you control the spin of the ball with your swing, it didn't hurt anything. i can only wonder what bryson would play like with real golf clubs that nicklaus would have used...with a balata wound ball that spins if you look at it funny?
It’s awesome having this much transparency now a days with one of the best in the game. It just makes it even more fun to follow and see how you do moving forward
Awesome stuff Bryson, you are the future of golf. Highly technical approach, wonderful down to earth approach, pure leadership by finding your own way to swing and work things out. Superb stuff. Love the channel so accessible and easy viewing. Best regards from the UK.
Bryson is the coolest guy! He's not angry, always happy, he doesn't fight with anyone, he never complains, totally approachable, always engaging, eager to help anyone, an open book AND the Mad Scientist. Never change Bryson...you are a lot of fun to watch. From Canada, best of luck in 2023!
Who’s here after he won the us open
Me
He won? Dang.. go him
Me
Me
And to hear him say, "It's going to be a hell of a year." Damn, he wasn't kidding.
Love it Bryson. No other pros give back to the fans like you do. We appreciate brother 🤟🏻
I’ve only played golf three times.
I played hockey my whole life. Some hockey players like a fatter grip and I had recently been asking pro shops about a fatter grip on a club and everybody’s been looking at me like I’m crazy.
I feel validated now. Thanks dude ❤️
Same here. Went to the jumbo XL grips and it changed my game
What I love about you Bryson is your "Aww gee" competitive attitude and your mindset which has bedeviled other conventional players. Keep it up! You are a breath of fresh air for the game of golf.
Love seeing you bounce back man; keep up the good work!
Bryson seems like the raddest bro ever.
I love that even bryson has ferrules that slide down
Would love to see an in depth talk about your putter and grip. I’m switching to armlock and would love to see the way the goat does it.
You changed the game globally, absolute legend of golf, love your videos mate, good luck for next year mate, no doubt another major win will happen #uppagolfnerds 😂😂⛳️❤️

*lol love how he tried to say his golf bag tags were the secret to his game and blurred them out lol*
Just subscribed after seeing you with Rick. Love the energy you bring to the videos. Can definitely see how much you love golf. Thanks for sharing some of your knowledge.
Love to see him genuinely happy
The Goat! Cant wait for next year!
love the Ping i230s most consistent ive ever played
seeing Bryson so excited and pumped for the year makes me excited for the year as well 😂

Ive been waiting for this video for ages. Switched to krank about 3 years ago and never looked back.
Your enthusiasm is contagious!
About time he becomes a Krank Golf affiliate. I have heard and seen these drivers 2 years ago when I was in a July 4th scramble and it was with 18 long drive hitters on each team and 70% of them use Krank heads only. Cool to see this
60, 55, 50, 45, PW......
My 9 iron is 45 degrees! Numbers on clubs these days are meaningless now.
I appreciate your approach to the game. I have learned to try new things in my game.
Best of luck next season. You are gonna get them.
Also a shout out to Ping for the work that went into making a set of iron heads that were never designed to be one length work for Bryson
Loving the vids BD. Greetings from Australia 💪🏻
You should do a “what’s in the bag: US OPEN edition”!
Bro, this guy is next level intelligent. He would be too tier fitter if he wasn’t a pro golfer. So fun to hear your thought process
I really just want to try one length long irons.. love my mizuno irons from 7-PW but since I went with a less forgiving set the long irons are a struggle especially since I’m not the tallest guy
What a dude, pumped for next season man, own it
T6 Masters, Runner up by one stroke in the PGA, then epic victory for his 2nd Major title in the US Open! Can't wait to see you compete in the Open Championship!!!
Dude! I really enjoy your vids! I also swear by the Jumbo Max grips. Thanks for making golf fun!
Thanks for all you do for the game of golf!
Extremely strong lofted. Some pitching wedges are 48 degrees. His is 40!
Please let us know what the bounce degree on all the wedges. 60°,55°, 50°
Dude, I have a man crush! I love this dude. He is the reason why I changed to single length. Ever since I read about him and his story on single length. The Ping Glide 4.0 wedges are amazing 👌
Still wished we had him on the Ryder Cup Team. Well, no reason to think about that mistake any more…….ready for a great 2024!
What golf ball you using these days? How much does that matter for you?
I’m glad he won the us open he is such a nice guy
Bryson, I use the same driver but a standard 4*. We are pretty similar with swing speeds. People definitely need to check krank out more often.
Lmao your swing speed is 130+ NOT with ball speed over 200...c'mon buddy 97% of pro golfers can't reach these numbers...unless your on the long drive tour I'll eat my words
Good for you....keep up the awesome work and definitely i enjoy your content
Imagine...Imagine all the birdies had Bryson been in Rome!!!
The ruler thing is such a good idea. I'm stealing that for sure. It has to make putting more consistent even for a 10 handicap like me.
Very cool. Thank you for making golf a science.
Thank you for telling us the grip size! :)
Where can we get those decaying rulers?
Hi Bryson! Might be a dumb question but are the driver and 3 wood different length shafts than the irons or are you truly all one length?
There’s no chance his driver shaft is the same as his irons. He’d be swinging a youth driver if that were the case. There’s like a 10” difference in shaft length between a driver and iron
So its a 4-LW based off lofts in regards to irons-wedges for us average players.
had never heard of krank. thing looks sick af
Have you tried all the different jumbomax grips? The JMX grip I tried started to wear away in less than a year. Do you replace your grips often? Do you use the ultralight or the tour series?
Local to Dragonfly, its awesome seeing Bryson's name and picture at the Tent. Got to use a Mike Schy wedge once, man can build some serious clubs
did you change from the Jumbo Max XL ultra lights to the Jumbo Max XL Tour grips? If yes what was the reason?
Bryson, where do you get your length measurement putting tool and rulers? Love the scientific measuring you do. Saw your degree was in physics!
What’s the advantage of same length clubs?
Are the shafts for your woods metal????
40 degree pitching wedge! Sir, that’s an 8 iron
Nice informational video, good luck!
Just watched this again, he said he’s pumped for the majors. T-6, 2, w at the us open
All club makers I’ve spoken to say puring is BS. But like so much about golf, if you believe it, often that’s good enough.
wanna watch you upload you do these club fitting vids
If you pure the Driver shaft will that affect the shaft if you change the settings.?
Are the lofts so jacked because of the one length? Also with the JumboMax do you play a low swing weight or do you add a big tip weight?
I have a question for a while now. Back then people could buy a SIK armlock putter just like yours but is it gonna be possible in the future with LA GOLF to buy armlock (not necessarily your spec) but just a customizable armlock like SIK was offering back then. La Golf released their armlock this week. They're for sale on their website in the blade and mallet version with the lagp p-180 shaft and a lagp/jmx grip
Nice segment. However, the numbers on you irons mean nothing.
He plays with 5 wedges! 2 Drivers and a strong lofted 3 wood.
Anyone know what lie angles Brysons driver and fairway woods are? I'm really curious because I play my irons at 69* now due to spine injuries.

If I made my living with a set of custom tools I would be so paranoid traveling around the world with them. Especially putting them in the hands of the airlines. Do you fly private internationally?
Ah he got $125 million to join Liv, I think he flys private everywhere he goes.
NETJETS is one of his Sponsors
@@fhartse makes sense. I was thinking more in general as a golf pro how do they handle potential loss of equipment. I heard a story about a guy had to buy a change of clothes from the pro shop because his suitcase got lost but I didn’t hear about his clubs.
Where can I buy that USA head cover??
Bryson said “huge shaft” yes I’m mentally 12 years old
😂😂😂
Keep getting better keep experimenting always learning 🏌️♂️
I wonder if loft differences are bc of one length?
Or just a Bryson preference?
My i230 PW loft is 45 and not 40!
But I’ve never shot 58… or 78 for that matter! 😂
So you have to think of it as a rpm club instead of a club number and loft. Your 7i is probably around 32 or something and spins at 7000 rpms. His 7i is like 23 or something and spins at 7000 rpms. So it's not exactly comparing a iron number to a loft. It's getting the rpm to match the number via loft change.
So what happened to Cobra?
On the Driver is it the LD head? And what shaft and flex are you using?
5 iron with a 2 iron loft… that’s a 2 iron!?!?
What glove does he use
Good vid
What driver shaft do you pair with the Krank Ld 6*?
what length of shaft do you use on your irons? do you use a typical 7-iron length for them all? thx!
What benefits have you gained from purposefully hitting the Krank driver off the toe?
YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
17 degree 5 iron lol, such an ego stroke. My 2 iron is 18 degrees. What’s the point? Why not have the correct number on them?
Shameless plug! Send us one to test
Why the jumbo max grips
he has said before that on a normal sized grip his fingers wrap around and hit his palm causing a looser hold on the shaft. with the larger grip his palm and fingers aren’t interfering with each other and he can have a tighter grip and more control over the club. more surface area allows for more control. hope this helps

lol the blurred thing just looks like a cheap radius gage.
Little did he know he would win the 2024 US Open what a year so far 😂
When u getting ping to sell those one length irons !!! @brysondechambeau
“This is from the Ryder cup, the one we WON” that was a hell of a chirp! 😂 classic!
Looked deep in the camera with that one too hahah good stuff
Haha that was clean!!!
I hope Zach watches this!
Le golf national, google that one lads
That cut real deep for some! Savage 😂
It’s awesome having this much transparency now a days with one of the best in the game. It just makes it even more fun to follow and see how you do moving forward

"So pumped for next year, it's gonna be a hell of a year" - US Open winner 2024. Grats Bryson!
Bryson adds the best pro golf content on TH-cam, now please BD start adding more major trophies to your collection.
Love a Bryson WITB. You are more calculated and thoughtful about how your clubs work for you than anyone I’ve ever seen
