This is the history of the A-Team, an action television show that ran from 1983 to 1987, originally airing on NBC network. This commando unit consists of four vietnam veterans on the run and serving as mercenaries post-war. Join big name actors George Peppard, Mr. T, Dwight Schultz and Dirk Benedict as they star in the roles of John "Hannibal" Smith, B.A. Baracus, Howling Mad Murdock and Templeton "Face" Peck.
Also covers the action figure line by Galoob and a brief overview of the 2010 film that stars Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper, Sharlto Copley and Quinton Rampage Jackson. Enjoy!

Great video. And I know I discussed this with you already, but I would add the hapless colonels tasked with arresting the A-Team every week. First was Colonel Lynch, then the far more famous Colonel Decker, played by veteran character action man Lance LeGault; these men were the ones who couldn't get out of their own ways, and even when they got the drop, somehow they snatched defeat from the jaws of victory. They were often there to clean up the messes of the real bad guys at the end of the episode

You forgot about general Fullbright who.took over from Deckor in 4th season apparently as he was good friend of Peppard and an attempt to ease tensions with Mr.t same reason Robert was added to cast in s.5

My father was taken by ambulance to the E. R. one night in 2001.i spent the night there with him. While he waited for tests, I turned on YTV in his little curtained cubicle. I found the A-Team, which improved my night a bit. Someone walked by, then backed up. "That's Mr T! What channel is that!" They were showing back-to-back episodes, and by the time my father was admitted, almost three quarters of the waiting patients were watching. And when I went to lock omy father's house, I found a note on the kitchen counter stating that he was being taken to the hospital. It was signed "Engine 51"

    Hey Ken,
You gave me a knuckle sandwich full of nostalgia and memories. I have great memories of this show growing up here in Australia. For me, it was on Channel TEN at 7:30 on Monday night. The problem was my mum enjoyed another show called a country practice (Australian drama) so I had to go to my room and watch the show on my little woodgrain black-and-white television and once in awhile when a country practice wasn’t on, I’ve got to watch it in the lounge room. Don’t get me wrong seeing it in black-and-white and on a little crappy TV didn’t take away the awesomeness of the show. I can still remember playing in the schoolyard the A team and I always wanted to be Murdoch as I’ve always had a thing for flying.
As you would know a first passion is GIJoe and so I got to small-scale A team figures and I absolutely love them even more so then larger versions. I ended up getting the armoured car and I red helicopter which later on I painted khaki green for my joes but I won’t get into that. In my local video library they had the pilot on tape for rent, and I would have rent it dozen of times.
Skip to 93 I was out of hospital and I stumbled on it again during the day at 1pm but this was the fifth season are never seen before, and boy did. I enjoy watching it. Skip to 2000 when on Amazon the show was coming out on DVD and I preordered each season and I’m glad I did watching them again was awesome. Then, when they announced, they were doing a movie me and my friend went out and saw it and boy did I enjoy it and I couldn’t wait for the sequel sad there’s none coming but I think in time we see it coming back perhaps not in the movie maybe what they’ve done with quantum leap, perhaps hmm
Like I said, this show is awesome and have some great memories watching it and mixing toys up with my joes. I never did get the van and it is something I would love to get and I’m thinking I might go out and try and find one. I’m going to blame you for it it ken as my wallet really hates me at times. To answer your question you got me thinking which not a bad thing My gut feeling tells me that Mr T never said that line, but I can’t be certain I’m not going to bet my left kidney on it instead I like to say no, you didn’t say it but I don’t need another knuckle sandwich.
Again, thanks for doing a great video
    And remember
    Stay safe, stay beautiful
P.s do you remember in the joe cartoon the grey team?

Hey Lilith! You are correct! T never used that line on the show. Tbh, watching it in black n white, at least you got to see it and it's cool you have those memories and cherish the show regardless if you watched it on your old b&w tv, your coloured one or on DVD.
      Enlighten me... grey team?

Great video sir. I loved the A-Team when I was a kid. Everyone in my family always gathered around the tv when it came on. I even remember seeing the Galoob toys in the regency mall in Augusta and my mom getting them for me. Thanks mom. Still have them too. Have a great day.

The A-Team was one of my fave shows in the 1980s. You did forget that they tended to improvise vehicles and weapons as necessary, roughly one year or so before MacGyver.
My fave members are: Colonel John Hannibal Smith, B. A. Baracus and Amy Allen, who was way easier on the eyes than Tawnia Baker. Another fave was Gen. Hunt Stockwell, played by Robert Vaughn.

oh man... I remember getting those Galoob 3' 3/4 figs... i was so disappointed on the costumes... and they eventually disintegrated.. I had no idea they made bigger figures.

Awesome Video! Face was my favourite from The A Team. Santa brought me a great playset in '85 which had the guys in it and the baddies figures too and like a base you could build for them. Very cool show!!! And the movie is great fun too!!

With the 3/3/4 inch A Team figures many would use the GI Joe/Action Force figures for the Military Police who would go after the A Team to make the toy play like the series

@@ToyKennections Yeah, I have a dollar limit in mind (mostly) and it's not going to get me a MOC. I'd be happy with one in decent condition -- whether or not she has all the accessories but too many of the ones I've come across in person in my price range are in terrible condition and not worth more than 20-30 bucks imho.
