To this day, I still love the GIJOE franchise as it is so rich with content and lore that you could do a lot with it. Why there aren't any real good PC games with this license is beyond me. Imagine a turn-based game, like XCOM, but GIJOE. Where GIJOE went weird is when I started growing out of it. It's like they were desperate to come out with something more colorful and more outrageous, but lost the plotline. What I would have liked to see is more variants of existed characters instead of coming up with new character all the time. Like, get's get a arctic team put together and make them look like the same joes with new outfits and weapons.

I'm happy that Super 7 made the 5.5 inch He-Ro and Eldor figures the way they were supposed to be. They also made a good She-Ra figure that fits with the original line. I added those 3 figures to my original 1980s MOTU figure collection.

My dad grew up watching GI Joe, when I was 3, he would let me watch the old school tv show from the laptop. But, mostly I watched anime because we live in Japan. The Resolute movie is what got me into buying GI Joe Classified figures, it leans more into the anime I'm used to.

I seriously do not understand why you choose to use music that induces feelings of dread and panic in those watching your video. Anyway, my brother had a version of Skyfire that had no Transformers branding and Japanese box. At the time we were so confused about what it even was as it clearly wasn't an official Transformer. Thanks for the history lesson.

The Chinese falcon. Wow I only have the Chinese Storm Shadow I had two in the package and sold one to a collector for $80 and a mint straight arm snake eyes for $100 and two other figures only because he was a hardcore collector. So it helped him out. Plus o just bought more GIJoe anyway. lol 😂

I missed this one. Cool I got the commemorative set. The figures are cool 1994 but the divers suck because the feet are huge so the flippers are even bigger. They should have made the feet and flippers to match the 1983 torpedo action figure. Hasbro just doesn’t care or just doesn’t think about a more compatible or universal joints. That way it would be better so we can mix and match more different figure parts together to make different figures

Back in the day, people would usually buy the official toy over the knockoff; now it's the other way around. These low-quality, overpriced toys just aren't worth the money anymore, no matter the engineering or nostalgia-appeal.

I still love this line and I love delta17 so i am in even if it is going to cost a lot 🥹 but oh well just tell call sign longbow and all those other lines to keep the prices at $25 not $25.99 brings up the prices even more. Steve and Ken keep the prices at $32 Canadian and that’s great still a lot for a figure but I can buy them in Canada so it’s not going to break the bank that way. What I am trying to say they should have a hub in Canada for all action figure lines so we don’t get nailed with huge duty fees. On 10 figures it’s about $88 plus shipping. So $390 or $400 for 10 figures is over $500. Great video as always and during the construction season I don’t care as much about the price but in the off season I can’t afford to buy as much so the price is a lot. lol 😂 but still worth it in the end

Funny you mention the claw weapon and the problem with it tabbing in the backpack. I had the exact same problem and naturally I lost the claw to outer space when I knocked it off the shelf. :( Ah well, it will turn up someday. But I absolutely love this line. I'm a huge fan of the the period it takes place and the character designs. I'm an all-in backer, really looking forward to the rest of the line.

This was excellent; I really enjoyed it. I have all the vehicles and playsets, including Boulder Hill, Split Seconds line, and the Laser Command set. They are all 100% complete, and I also have all the 1985 long and short masks. I don't have all the boxes though, I have about 15 or so. And of course, I also got a very late belated Christmas present very recently. And that is Great White/Shark from Raymon Toy. On a funny note, I always thought that the 80s Bat-copter looked like a poor man's Switchblade!

But we all love these figures and we want them. So that’s why we back it first to get a lower price. lol 😂 other wise that’s the reason why I have not bought any legends of the hidden force at $25.99 or $38 for one figure and no deal when you buy 3 or more. So you have no choice but to wait and then you miss out cause they sell out the ones you might have bought.

So the real price after duties and taxes are paid works out to be $45 a figure or around that when you factor in all the shipping and taxes and duties. The ghost buster o ring figures will cost me $95 and not sure if they will slap extra fees or duties and that’s $25 a figure Canadian when it was what $45 or $50 American. So you see why Americans only think about American prices and don’t think about other people around the world and what we will have to pay just to get some o ring figures. Sucks that no one thinks about us. 🥲🥹 it would be nice to buy figures at $20 a figure not $45

And at 25.99 American that’s $36.25 Canadian but the skeletron site over charges at $38 a figure. Seems like a lot when delta 17 figures are $32 Canadian. I do love the figure line. But it’s hard to army build when the prices get too high plus you also have to factor in shipping. So then the price goes up a lot more. And we always get hit with even more taxes like duty fees so it’s even more expensive. So you can see why some of us get frustrated when there is no distribution so we all get nailed with those other fees.

First time I had heard anything about this movie. With such a strong recommendation I will have to try and locate it for my viewing pleasure... tho loosing Bazooka as a character when I only just bought my first ever vintage one recently will hurt!

I know I'm in the minority with this opinion, but Resolute never really connected with me. I suppose that was due to it being a bit too edgelord-y for me. It just felt like I had outgrown the mentality required to be impressed with it. That's not a slight on anyone else or their fandom, just my personal experience.
