I love listening & looking at this line. There are pros & cons to it ofcourse but being a 9-12yr old & having most of them, I can look back with absolute joy. As an adult I wish I still had them.
Another great video Ken. LJNs were before time, I grew up and played with the Hasbros. Great looking figures though which set the standard for the future.
Some absolutely iconic LJN figures here. Hart Foundation, Jake the snake and Koko B ware were favourites. As my interest of the other toy lines waned LJN wrestlers along with the weekly WWF shows on tv continued to hit the sweet spot for me. Thanks for the trip down memory lane Ken! 👍
Born in 81' grew up in a awesome small town with a group of neighborhood friends who all watched wrestling together after probably wm3 ish..we watched them all and always brought our toys, but we were a little later, we had wrestling buddies. I still have my childhood Ultimate Warrior wrestling buddy. it's right here lol
I never owned any of the LJN ones (we were poor, so licensed toys in our home were rare) but saw them all the time on the playground at school and at friends places after school.
What's the rough value of the Brett Hart figure at 5:25 ? I have one without the belt back home in New Zealand. I bought it from a garage sale as a child in circa ~2001 and my cousin bought a Hulk Hogan one of the same era.
Hundreds of dollars for a beat up one. Close to $1,000 dollars for a mint one. Sealed in the bag probably even more. They all have those yellow/green spots on them, though. I've never seen one that doesn't have those spots.

Glad it brought back some good memories 😎

Yeah i had limited LJN experience growing up myself. Got into the Hasbro stuff in the early 90s.
Toy Kennections, the best there is, the best there was, the best there ever will be.
Excellence of execution! #HartFamily
I don't remember Ric Flair saying that?

Yeah. One of the best years for LJN and for toys in general!

Same. I saw them more at school and had maybe 1 in my own collection in the 80s.
