Before reading the LN, I was under the impression that Primordial Demons were around the same strength to True Dragons from watching the anime. The way they're described by humans is kinda the same. But boy it isn't even close, True Dragons as a species are soooo much stronger, and they're genuinely the peak. It's just Guy that was warping my perception of primordials, I still have no idea why Guy is so insanely strong, he's just him.

Spoiler about Guy’s power: He met Veldanava and became friends with him, and by trying to imitate him, gained the unique skill “Pride”, which eventually evolved into the ultimate skill lord of pride, which lets him copy other peoples’ ultimate skills. He’s also been pursuing power for a long time, which is how he gained so much strength. Diablo, known previously as Noir, was in a tournament with Guy, known then as Rouge, to see who the strongest demon was. Noir and Rouge tied for first, and the prize for winning was the right to evolve. Rouge took it seeking power, but Noir rejected it since he found fighting fun and thought being too strong would be boring, so I assume that Diablo could’ve become as strong as Guy if he had been pursuing power from the beginning, so it’s possible that all primordial demons could reach Guy’s level, but Guy is just the only one to actualize that potential.
Guy and Diablo are honestly just two different sides of the battle freak coin. Diablo barely cared about fighting as much as guy, but also could go toe to toe with guy because he was a smart fighter before Guy was summoned. After Diablo also acquires a ultimate skill, he probably could again.
I’m rather new to your channel and I do like your videos and I could be way off base here but usually when I go digging into a anime, I like for a deep dive it’s either because I’ve only flipped through some of the source material or I want to consume and have greater understanding past where the show has gotten. I’d love to see some of your videos on. Tensura use all available. Info I totally get the no spoilers crowd, but honestly, the only way to really do that is to not dig around online.
at the first season it was just some kingdom building smile with some mystries. i never thought too much of it. but i love how deep and full of lore it really is. and how shockingly good all elements fill in the story. even the most nonsense thing it has fits perfectly. i never thought i will be soo into a story of a femboy slime.
Veldora is so much fun and MAN do I just love Velzard's design, it does things for me, LOL, Wonder how much longer it'll be till we get the next sibling animated?, I always look forward to more screentime for the True Dragon's, Milim too due to her being a chaotic ball of fun herself.

Few Notes of Corrections Here: Even dying as a human and not a True Dragon, Veldenava can come back again. Once a True Dragon is born into existence, there is really no way of getting rid of them. They can choose to not come back to life, which Veldenava promptly chose to do when he and wife died. Not having his factor and his powers his not a deterrent to his revival. He is still a True Dragon, even as a human. It's a hierarchical thing, not defined by power but by their status. Gaia is not meant to be Veldenava next reincarnation. She was to serve as Milim's companion for the chance that her parents perishes(in which they did). In regards to the Dragon Lords. The reason Milim didn't want to capture them is not because she was afraid of their power, they wouldn't even be much of a threat to her considering her strength which surpasses even Veldora. She was worried that when she goes to the Dragon's Den and take some Dragon Lords, that this act might enrage the others residing within that mountain and make them go on a rampage on the surrounding nations. Something even she did not want to happen. Milim is born of a High Human and True Dragon, not human. Very different. Humans descended from the High Humans. The High Humans have innate capacities for magic as well as long life spans that allowed them to live for up to a thousand years. Humans, on the otherhand, are not as adept to magic as their ancestors and have very short life-spans.

It's been a while since I read the LN so this could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Veldanava "died" because he broke the rules of the world that he himself set. One of those rules was "God must love all his creations equally", and his getting married and having a baby was a clear declaration that he values one creation over all others.

Skills trumps EP/magicule outside of Veldanava(and Rimuru later on), the True Dragons are weaker than Masayuki/Rudra, Chloe and Feldway they have no way of dealing with JKM ultimate skill that those 3 posses. Castle Guard literally makes JKM users invulnerable unless you also have a Castle Guard and use Uriel to turn your castle guard into an attack. its so OP that even Rimuru's sure kill ability Imaginary blade failed to do anything to it
what is the pet dragon's race exactly? Since he died I guess it's not a true dragon, but I doubt he is a regular dragon since he was directly created by veldanava (?)

And It's a theory but Mikami satoru (Rimuru) is most likely Gaia reincarnation and had part of his dragon factor which is why he was compatible and could evolve into a true dragon later on despite being smt that should be impossible
because they are not the strongest characters(outside of Veldanava and Rimuru), as a race yes it is true they're the strongest race because the characters that can beat and seal them are just outliers in their respective race i.e. Masayuki/Rudra, Guy, Chloe, and Feldway. the power system in this series revolves around skills, and the strongest skill in the series(outside of Veldanava and Rimuru's) is Justice king Michael(namely Castle Guard) which only Masayuki/Rudra, Chloe, Feldway, Veldanava, and Rimuru posses. it doesn't matter if you have more EP or magicules like True Dragons have, it is at the end of the day trumped by superior skills hence why they can be beaten/sealed

I'm pretty sure not biological, but it is never actually mentioned (at least not in the ln idk about the wn), I don't think it really matters if you know Veldanava created the tensura universe.

Plus the light novel, I noticed, does much better than the anime at explaining Rimuru's slime anatomy and powers. Basically the video said what infons are and what a manas is and it sounded so awesome that I just had to jump right in.

But even if they are spiritual with no blood, they can still be "blood"-related as in being formed from the same parent or parents. I did not necessarily mean blood related as in actually having the same blood inside their bodies. Just meant being brothers in more than just adopting or whatever.
True dragons aren't really dragons, that's a very important detail. True dragons take dragon forms because that's what people perceive them as. They all have universal shapeshift. They can be anything, and those forms would be just as valid as their dragon forms.
since the form they takes comes down to their self-image, i imagine all the other true dragons only imitated veldanava, who was quite literally the first ever dragon. that is probably why rimuru, who was not bound by this idea, had a slime as his true form as it was what he had eventually come to identify as.
Slight Spoiler but since Veldanava is God he meshes with the “Won’t interfere with my creations and will let them live as they decide and choose too no matter what” standpoint

Even dying as a human and not a True Dragon, Veldenava can come back again. Once a True Dragon is born into existence, there is really no way of getting rid of them. They can choose to not come back to life, which Veldenava promptly chose to do when he and wife died. Not having his factor and his powers his not a deterrent to his revival. He is still a True Dragon, even as a human. It's a hierarchical thing, not defined by power but by their status.
Gaia is not meant to be Veldenava next reincarnation. She was to serve as Milim's companion for the chance that her parents perishes(in which they did).
In regards to the Dragon Lords. The reason Milim didn't want to capture them is not because she was afraid of their power, they wouldn't even be much of a threat to her considering her strength which surpasses even Veldora. She was worried that when she goes to the Dragon's Den and take some Dragon Lords, that this act might enrage the others residing within that mountain and make them go on a rampage on the surrounding nations. Something even she did not want to happen.
Milim is born of a High Human and True Dragon, not human. Very different. Humans descended from the High Humans. The High Humans have innate capacities for magic as well as long life spans that allowed them to live for up to a thousand years. Humans, on the otherhand, are not as adept to magic as their ancestors and have very short life-spans.

It's been a while since I read the LN so this could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Veldanava "died" because he broke the rules of the world that he himself set. One of those rules was "God must love all his creations equally", and his getting married and having a baby was a clear declaration that he values one creation over all others.

outside of Veldanava(and Rimuru later on), the True Dragons are weaker than Masayuki/Rudra, Chloe and Feldway they have no way of dealing with JKM ultimate skill that those 3 posses.
Castle Guard literally makes JKM users invulnerable unless you also have a Castle Guard and use Uriel to turn your castle guard into an attack.

because they are not the strongest characters(outside of Veldanava and Rimuru), as a race yes it is true they're the strongest race because the characters that can beat and seal them are just outliers in their respective race i.e. Masayuki/Rudra, Guy, Chloe, and Feldway.
the power system in this series revolves around skills, and the strongest skill in the series(outside of Veldanava and Rimuru's) is Justice king Michael(namely Castle Guard) which only Masayuki/Rudra, Chloe, Feldway, Veldanava, and Rimuru posses.
it doesn't matter if you have more EP or magicules like True Dragons have, it is at the end of the day trumped by superior skills hence why they can be beaten/sealed

True dragons aren't really dragons, that's a very important detail.
True dragons take dragon forms because that's what people perceive them as. They all have universal shapeshift. They can be anything, and those forms would be just as valid as their dragon forms.
since the form they takes comes down to their self-image, i imagine all the other true dragons only imitated veldanava, who was quite literally the first ever dragon. that is probably why rimuru, who was not bound by this idea, had a slime as his true form as it was what he had eventually come to identify as.
