- Today we will be taking a look true dragon lords of the new world as well as some of the false dragon lords and the true-false dragon lord.
Two of the most famous true dragon lords are the Platinum Dragon Lord and Cure Elim Los Malvar, aka the Elder Coffin Dragon lord but there are 7 known in total.

I believed its stated that the eight Greed Kings change the New World magic system NOT the 6 great gods.
1. Coffin Dragon Lord might very well be a reference to D&D's Dracolich or even an undead dragon that has grafted the bodies of multiple other dragons to himself.
2. The Platinum Dragon Lord is apparently the progeny of the Dragon Emperor and his misstrust of players is caused by the fact that he is responsible for their periodic arrivals ,out of a desire to gain more power. To the point that he is speculated to have killed a player that was among the 13 heroes for fear of him becoming too strong and a threat to the world.
Now that doesn't make PDL a good guy, but he's someone who's willing to make tough choices to save the world in the long run
3. The Dragon Emperor is not only the strongest inhabitant of the New World, he is also the cause for all the events of the series.
While we don't get mamy details , its implied that the DE tried to pull beings from other worlds in a quest for even more power ( this was what made PDL hate him as Wild Magic is powered by life energy i.e. souls)
The spell seemingly went wrong somehow and distorted time, space and reality. Not only teleporting people in their video game avatars as well as their guild bases etc but also dropping them throughout time. Hence why players appear centuries apart.

That's kinda sad honestly, the players had no idea what kind of world they are transported in and was separated from their Guild Members because of The Dragon Emperor tampering with Wild Magic.
So you could say that the result of the magic was wild!
I love the Overlord lore, deep, jam packed but still have a lot of ways to expand the lore and it's potential.
Overlords lore is insanely deep. Realistically, not even half of it is covered by the anime, so much cut content. There's also a lot we just don't know which makes speculating quite fun.

@@therealgmoneyd Easily in the hundreds, you have all the Yggdrasil era content, all the new world stuff pre-Ainz, the stuff they've already skipped in the current episodes. It won't ever all be covered, there's just so much.
The concept of tanky NPCs learning wild magic and being godly because of their health pools is hilarious.
I can totally see a moment where base regen allows constant high tier magic casting like a mini gun.
Especially the lower their health gets. Taking a % of hp at lower levels of health is like having no activation cost at all. Some could easily out-heal it.
Flawless video like usuals you even clearly pointed out separately fact and really plausible things implied in the novel by different characters so good job! Maybe world items next?

Just a meme I saw where the main Reason for Why Deep Darkness dragon lord is staying in his Underground Cave is to finish Reading all the Philosophy books and Scrolls he supposedly got from a Group of Simps

It is believed that all true dragon lords are immune to world class items the same way world class item users are immune to other world class items. It also explains how Cure Elim survived Ainz's TGOALID

Criminally underrated channel, some of the best overlord videos you’ll find. I have re-read the series literally every time a new volume came out for years now, but I still watch these because I’m extremely overlord starved.

Alternate theory.
The Dragon Lords in their greed saw a world dieing, full of wealth and decided to summon said wealth into their world... Unfortunately the dragonlords didn't know what a video game was and their wild magic was consumed not to summon the items, but to make it real along with pulling the souls of anyone in the game. every 100 years wild magic recharges enough to continue the spell until all of Yddrassil is real wild magic is irrepairable.
Its a good theory, I like it a lot. It's more likely it was just the Dragon Emperor acting along than all the dragon lords, which is why the dragon lords resent the dragon emperor so much. But it all makes sense and explains the massive gap between players arriving.
What if they accidently allow World Enemies to enter the New World? I doubt the DE and the Dragon Lords combined could stop them. The World Devourer alone would destroy the New World.

Thank fuck, there are still a few creatures in the new world that could give Ainz and his floor guardians a run for their money or even defeat them. I'm tired of them being able to defeat everyone.
Main issue with overlord is how nothing means anything to Ainz as he could brute force through everything anyway. I hope we get to see something confront him and Ainz genuinely struggle for once.
It's the only reason I'm still watching. Ainz needs to go down. His arrogance and behavior towards NPCs at this point is bordering on psychopathic. Hope he gets wrecked by one of these Dragons.

@@JasonOwensYT I know this comment is old, but there's almost no way the Dragon Lords would ever win against Ainz in a head on war. Ainz Ooal Gown as a guild has more World Class items than the entireity of the New World. That means Ainz can just arm every single guardian with a world item and jump the Dragon Lords without fear of their Wild Magic. Also, Ainz and his guardians out number the remaining Dragon Lords.

He's from and was created in Yggdrasil where wild magic didn't exist so he will only be able to cast tier magic. Only ancient dragons from the new-world can potentially cast wild magic.
He is a dragonoid, YGGDRASIL you were unable to play a dragon that was the closest you could be.

There are 6 dragon lords left that can take down a player. Not necessarily one as cautious and well prepared as Ainz but a decently high level player regardless.

Is a good question. I'd say Shalltear would probably win.
Aqua has the power to beat her, but Shalltear is far more mobile, and can use greater teleportation to get out of any major attacks. Also Aqua has a tendency to run away from undead crying rather than actually beat them. I think Shalltear would just be too aggressive, and when Einherjar enters the fray, it's pretty much over.
Is the dragon emperor stronger than rubedo?

its likely as strong as Touch Me
, but it could be a raid boss
It's an interesting question. One on hand the dragon emperor is over level 100, but equally Rubedo is almost certainly powered by a world item making her immune to the dragon emperor's wild magic.
So although we don't know for certain, the dragon emperor being locked out of his wild magic, means it quickly falls in Rubedos favour.

Can this dragon lords including the Emperor, kill the current LN timeline ainz with his full gear and WCI equipped without the help of guardians?
Dragon Emperor can easily kill Ainz, his level above 100 has crazy stats
Not all of them could. Cure Elim for example would struggle to kill Ainz die to his world item protecting Ainz from Soulbreaker Breath. And due to Cure Elims lack of experience with tiered magic, Ainz has a significant advantage.
Assuming Ainz has a world item, he could probably beat all of them as it would grant him full immunity to wild magic.
Without it though, Cure Elim, PDL, Deep Darkness dragon Lord and the Dragon Emperor could potentially kill him.
Ainz could teleport around soulbreaker breathe and if Cure misses, he lacks the souls to recast it. But if Ainz gets hit, it's over. Dragon Emperor is over level 100 and is meant to be immensely powerful. PDL could go more in Ainz's favour but the ace move could be a huge problem due to Ainz's fire weakness. Deep Darkness could also be fine as Deep Darkness can't beat Shalltear and Ainz has.
Ultimately, I think Ainz is capable of beating them all, especially considering he has the Goal Of All Life Is Death, but those 4 could also kill Ainz. We know Cure is resistant to time stop, so we don't know if Ainz's full kit will work, but Reality Slash definitely will so he should be fine.
Not just that ainz have touch me equipment and lastly ressurection ring although not sure if he will ressurected back to base but not the least world item that effective against dragons
