I remember though that there was an episode that Michael told him to sacrifice his skill or something like that, and Michael had already analysed the skill so he replicated that skill back. Am I mistaken or is that other anime ?
You forgot something very important. You remember when Rimuru said "We needed to talk after this" after Raphael suggested he use Uriel's absolute defense. That conversation actually happened. The reason why Raphael reacted like that was because he sensed Rimuru's desire to know how to withstand Hinata's attack. He used Beelzebuth to consume and analyze the attack (even though he temporarily lost Beelzebuth), the attack was from spiritron (what magiculeses are made of) due to their unpredictable nature they penetrate barriers, but after analyzing Hinata's attack he managed to adapt to spiritrons and defend Rimura from tinity disintegration. He also said that even if the neutralization of Hinata's attack had failed Rimuru would not have been dead due to the infinite regeneration. Rimuru said that Raphael was becoming more and more slipperier and wondered if he had a mind of his own. I especially love how Raphael replied "I exist only for your sake, master" after he said he didn't deserve such a good power. This is all from the 98th chapter of the manga and takes up five pages. I don't understand at all why the studio likes to throw out explanations about skills so much, I understand that not everything can fit, but this is an explanation about how and why Rimuru had problems blocking Hinata's attack and why he easily blocked tinity disintegation. It is very important and without it it looks like bad power scaling (which is not the case at all)! I know this is a Hinata vs Rimura video, you probably haven't forgotten and maybe it would be better to explain this in the next video, but I think someone should share this information with anime-only viewers as soon as possible. Without this it seems like a big hole in the story that is not explained at all.

You keep pointing out how Luminous has an ultimate skill, when she doesn't gain that until later, at this point in time she only has the Unique Skill "Lust", it has yet to evolve into Asmoedeus, Lord of Lust
The Beelzebub sacrifice really hit hard, one of Rimuru earliest and best skills just gone like that. Ps. The new shirt looks dope and I like that it’s a bit more understated, I think I’ll buy it.
It was a cool fight and all, but one thing that kind of bugged me was that before that final blow they both figured out that they were getting messed with, their subordinates all come walking up not dead and not fighting anymore. It was a big battle where no one died despite one side really trying pretty hard. They both know that the other person didn't actually want to fight. But nope gotta keep going and get that final show down in for no good reason. "The only way that I can convince demon lord Rimuru that I'm here to talk it out is to beat him with my sword for a while and win!" Ok crazy lady.
The final attack was like the last showdown to decide the outcome of the fight, rimuru wasn't suppose to take it head-on but Raphael tricked him. So it was needed
I feel like Raphael could have come up with a different solution but chose to sacrifice the ultimate skill because of the strain ultimate skills put on the soul, i could easily be wrong tho, but considering in their last fight he created a bodydouble to survive i feel like he should have a couple of tricks up his sleave that raphael would know of.
Okay so here’s my question. With beelzebub gone how will rirumu sseal his magicules now? Like rirumu was mentioned to have the veldora issue around sealing his magicules but was using beelzebub to store his own magicules. Now he’s gotta restrain himself like veldora
Kind of hope he gets it back, was one of his best/strongest abilities, and there was no reason for that fight in the first place. Maybe he can have Raphael recreate it or something similar. Seems like a big price to pay for nothing in return, especially since the knight can probably still use her melt slash.
j'ai une questions sur le visuel de la I have a question about the visuals of seasons one and two, I mean the promotional poster of the anime, it's a spoiler for the next chapters, right?
It could create a new one actually but... wait for Raphaels next week it's even more bullshit, no spoilers from me but you might have read it already in other comments.
Yes and no. With the help of Raphael, it's easier for him to gain new extra skill since he has degenerate. But unique skill is not something that you acquire, it's something that you born with. And Ultimate skill is evolve version or even greater of Unique skill and there's only few individuals who has it
Well the whole point to can't evade and can't defend shenanigans was for a reason, rimuru could evade by teleporting but he truly can't defend. Raphael had a plan to absorb the spiritron Hinata used so they can defend against in the future and that attack could destroy anything even soul and skills that's why bhezubuth got destroyed but Raphael still has information of the skill so she can recreate it
Hope you enjoyed the video!

It was a big battle where no one died despite one side really trying pretty hard. They both know that the other person didn't actually want to fight.
But nope gotta keep going and get that final show down in for no good reason.
"The only way that I can convince demon lord Rimuru that I'm here to talk it out is to beat him with my sword for a while and win!"
Ok crazy lady.
Is this the last season if we no longer have Glattony/Beelzebub or is Raphael going to recreate it or another new skill
Always pumped to watch these episodes
Clothes actually look sick
Okay so here’s my question. With beelzebub gone how will rirumu sseal his magicules now? Like rirumu was mentioned to have the veldora issue around sealing his magicules but was using beelzebub to store his own magicules. Now he’s gotta restrain himself like veldora
Kind of hope he gets it back, was one of his best/strongest abilities, and there was no reason for that fight in the first place. Maybe he can have Raphael recreate it or something similar. Seems like a big price to pay for nothing in return, especially since the knight can probably still use her melt slash.
Dont read other comments if you dont wanna be spoiled. Unless you already saw them. Wait for ep 9 hen come back
j'ai une questions sur le visuel de la I have a question about the visuals of seasons one and two, I mean the promotional poster of the anime, it's a spoiler for the next chapters, right?
sooo is rimuru no longer gonna be able to eat stuff to analyze and absorb? what about the beelzebub sub-skills?
*makes whole video on how MC loses ability* 2 episodes later “yeah about that sacrificed ability”
More of these videos places 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Isn’t melt slash as powerful as leon creating a slash using Metatron lord of purity? They’re Different but have same properties.
We all know rimuru lost one of his ultimate skills. But is it possible Raphael can just create a brand new one with his accumulated skills?
It could create a new one actually but... wait for Raphaels next week it's even more bullshit, no spoilers from me but you might have read it already in other comments.
Rimuru: hey Raphael, what can you do with regards to skills?
Raphael: *_Y E S_*
afaik, it was cloned by raphael so in actuality he didnt lost any skill.
i commend you for not spoiling
Sam! With his ability to create new skills would he be able to gain Beelzebub again from the ground up?
Yes and no. With the help of Raphael, it's easier for him to gain new extra skill since he has degenerate. But unique skill is not something that you acquire, it's something that you born with. And Ultimate skill is evolve version or even greater of Unique skill and there's only few individuals who has it
Thode clothes look awesome. I wish i could afford some right now lol
Loosing the skill Rimuru had from the very beginning feels like such a gut-punch. It feels as if a prominent character died.
Nice ❤
Love the new mugen tee but I'm in Ireland and the shipping is the same price as the tee, something to check out and sort in the future hopefully
OMG I hope my little Rimu’s ok after loosing his Ultimate skill like that! 😭
Beelzebub being a evolution from his class intrinsic skill, can't Raphael "relearn" it like she did with Predict Future Attack?
Well the whole point to can't evade and can't defend shenanigans was for a reason, rimuru could evade by teleporting but he truly can't defend. Raphael had a plan to absorb the spiritron Hinata used so they can defend against in the future and that attack could destroy anything even soul and skills that's why bhezubuth got destroyed but Raphael still has information of the skill so she can recreate it
